Need to change individual data label colors

I have a percent bar chart that reads all from one column. This seems like it should be simple for crystal reports to do but I can't find it anywhere. I need to be able to change the color of the individual percentage data labels that show up. When I click on the data label and go to change the color it changes the color for all data labels in the chart, not just the data label for that series.

hello,
unfortunately there is no conditional formatting on data labels...they will always be one colour.
however, if you know that there will always be the same number of bars in your chart and you have a bit of time for a workaround you can always place a cross-tab on top of the chart...see the attached. you can dynamically colour the labels, backgrounds, etc. as this is a cross-tab but you can't change the positioning of the label.

Hi All,
I have gone through some threads similar to this subject an also tried to do changes from PA41 but i am facing some problems during the procedure.
We have transferred some employees to sap system with their original date of joining and payroll was run from some other date for those employees. So i need to change the date of joining of those employees.
For example : Below is the line items of one employee from table infotype 0.

I want to know which date i need to change??...When i am trying to change the first start date i.e. 19.02.2007 to my desired start date, but it is not allowing me to do that as end date is smaller.
Please tell me how would i change the joining date of employee as 23.02.2009 ?.

Need to change report data source on reports in a copied universe

We are setting up a new testing environment. So I made a copy of our BO universe so we could have two different testing universes. I then created a copy of the data source database that will be used as the data source for the reports in the copied universe. The two different databases have the exact same tables, columns and indexes as the development database. The only difference will be the data inside the tables.
I now need to change the reports to use the new universe since the reports were written using the universe instead of using the database. I am not changing anything else in the reports. I just need them to run against a different Oracle database.
So I go into Crystal Reports version 11.5.0.313 and open the report up. I then go into Database fields in Field Explorer to change the data source. I then go to the Set Datasource Location screen. I open up the universe label by clicking on the plus sign and I select the copied universe. When I do that, the Business Objects Query panel screen opens up. Because I have switched universes, Crystal Reports wants me to reselect the columns and rebuild the query.
We have over three thousand reports so we are trying to avoid rebuilding them. I am looking for a better way to change what database a report runs against.
Note: All of the reports will be run ion demand. Nothing will be scheduled.
Any suggestions and information will be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone run into this? What was your solution to this problem?

In SAP BI I have created a BEx Query. We can see BEx reports in MS Excel. Date format in the report is DD/MM/YYYY and i want it to be displayed like YYYYMMDD. but only for one date column in the report the rest stay the same. Please help.

Enter you user ID details click on change --> select the Default TAB here you can find the option to change the date formats.
Or
In BW goto Menu option System > User Profile>Own Data > It will display the user profile parameters> in default tab page change date format there.
Its better to go for a routine .

I believe i misunderstood your first post. I had given the BAPI parameters that you need to fill up for the given business requirements you have mentioned. I realized you were asking about the POS.
Answer to Q1: You can not place time characteristics in the POS. You will define the "time characteristics" in your Planning Area by specifying a relevant storage bucket profile.
Answer to Q2: You dont need to add time characteristics in the POS.
Answer to Q3: 9AVERSION is not included in the POS. However, when you use BAPIs BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL and BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL to read/write data from/to the planning area you need to supply a selection for the planning version (9AVERSION).

XML Publisher: Need to change OKCTERMSDS Data Source

My client requires that the XML Publisher Sourcing Template and the Contract
Terms Template be customised to fit in with their coroprate look-and-feel.
Whilst I have no issue with being able to change the XSL to create a new
Template, the underlying XDO Data Sources for these two Templates do not
contain all of the fields that I require.
For example, my Customer requires the RFQ/RFI Description field on the final
output; this does not appear in the XML data file.
Normally the Short Name on a Data Source relates to a Concurrent Manager
Program Short Name, but I am unable to find any Programs relating to
PON_DATA_SOURCE or OKCTERMSDS.
My questions are:
1) How are these XML files generated?
2) Can the "programs" behind the XML generation be changed?

The XML for the documents are generated by the product code using BC4J XML generation. No concurrent program is involved in it.
As regards to including additional fields from Sourcing documents into the XML generated, you can use the BC4J extension fwk to extend the ViewObject that generates XML and modify the query to include any additional fields as needed.
All the above assumes knowledge of Oracle Application Framework and the customization fwk. There is a Metalink Note (dont know the exact id) which explains how to extend BC4J objects and deploy them.

Need Help in displaying data labels at the top of the bars in CFCHART

Hi,
Probably you need to find a way to enhance the standard code.
But make one thing sure that the code (included bu you) gets fired only when that specific report is being executed. Else it may harm the standard functionality.

Change the Data Elements Text (Label and Description)

I need to change the data elements label and short description in Development and transpot it into quality and Production system.
I could change the label and short description using the Menu Goto --> Translation. But the system does not prompt for the transport request. Can you please any one help me how to attach a transport request to the changes (Translations) done on the Data Elements? It would be a great help!.

I'm not getting a transport request either. Any I know it is not a local object and not already on a transport. To attach it to a transport. Now on the first screen of SE10, there is a "tool" icon, click it. In the next screen, put your cursor on the "Include Objects in a Transport Request and click execute. On this screen, select the radiobutton for "Selected Objects". Now in the row for data element, check the check box on the left, and enter the name of the data element on the right. click execute. In the next screen, put your cursor on the data element click save in request. Here you can create a request.

SSRS Radar Chart change category label color

Recently my client asks me to change the category label color in a radar chart. They want the label show different colors as demanded.
Ex. question 1 to question 4 : Orange
question 2 to question 8 : Green
question 9 to question 12: Blue
I've tried every expression I know (iif, switch...etc), nothing works.
Does someone has an idea about that?

Changing HD label color

Some time ago I had been able to change the HD label colors (black type on yellow label background). I have forgotten how I did this. However I try to do it, the Label color options are grayed out. Can someone remind me how to do it, please? Thanks.

Same problem, but now I'm in 10.7.4, and "ignore ownership..." was removed??
...or am I looking in the wrong place??
Finder -> File -> menu w/ Get Info, but no box in this menu, or in the locked/unlocked Info Window for the HD...
Also logged in as admin, and I'm not sure how to get at labels w/ su in Terminal...

Changing event dates of MOV files

I've found it straightforward changing event dates (so the Event Library will sort chrono), simply by going to Finder and changing the yyyy-mm-dd format for DV files that may not have been captured correctly. However, when I do the same with MOV files, the fix will not work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
BTW, these files were captured via a Canopus ADVC110. Years ago, I consolidated my video library (various old formats) on DVDs via a Panasonic DVD-R player. Now I've captured all of this video, via the Canopus converter, and am ready to edit in iMovie. When I captured the video recently, I simply created new folders, labeling each by year, so the sub-folders are easy to recognize. They all show up under "2007" I can live with this, but if there is a fix it would be nice.

IIRC, the .mov files are really a package of files and you will need to change the dates of the files in the package. Alternatively, you could import the .mov files into iMovie 06, and export as a Quicktime .dv file, at which point, it becomes easy to change the dates.

Changing operation date in co02

Hello everyone,
We have quite lengthy production operations and we need to change individual operation date, of planned or production orders (especially production order, in fact, before they are relased in fact).
The problem is that when I access Co02, and go to the operation list view, I cannot change the date. I can enter an operation or delete one but I can't change the start date of each operation.
It is absolutely needed in our case, as we have a lot of waiting time in the shop floor and need to review the schedule to match free slot. There is not a lot of orders , so the most convenient way is to do it from the Operation list, in Co02.
Please could you tell me how it is possible.

I am not sure whether you have Capacity Requirement Planning is in place for PP cycle .Basically , operation dates and production order schedule dates can be changes based on the available capacity of Work Centre wehre the respective operations are happing in shop floor.There two kind of production scheduling happend in any production order .One is operation level scheduling and another order level scheduling .Order level scheuling should havppned based on the total details scheduling of operation based on the work centre load ( available , over load , requirement hrs at work centre ) .
Any operation in a scheuled production order , can have changes in date wheile deispathing the operation for work centre once the CRP in place .Here , we have Scheduling margine ( FBP, FAP, Opening periods ) contributes to Basic Start Dates in Production order .It is possible though Capacity Leveling -CM21/CM22/CM31/CM23 after cheking the Capacity Load in CM05/CM07 for a particular work centre level.
The simplest way to adop CRP and explore the same .please find belwo the detaiuls of the same :
Setting Required :*
1. Settings for Available Capacity
2. Setting for Capacity requirements
3. Settings for Capacity evaluation and leveling
4.Materials Master define the Production scheduler and production scheduling profile
5.Work Center - Define the capcity planner group,activate checkbox Relevant for Finite sceduling,on the capacity header define the shift timings,break timings and unit of measure,no of individual capaity, enter formula for scheduling in capacity view. 6.Routing - enter the values for the standard values. Use control key with scheduling.
7.In transaction OPU5 and OPU3Z - define the scheduling parameters for planned order and productiion orders and activate the checkbox Capacity requirement and Scheduling.
8.Capacity Setup :
1.Define time profile in OPD2.
2.Define the strategy profile in OPDB
3.Define the Overall profiles in OPD0.
4.In the order control OPJK maintained check capacity with SAPSFCG013 profile.
5.Define Scheduling parameters for Production orders-OPKP-Maintain Capacity Checked /Finite Scheduling Cheked /Scheduing Type -BW/FW .

Can we change the data type of a field based on the value of the field

HI Gurus,
My Requirement is as below -- Could you please guide me
in the Printable Adobe form -- for ex - as usual for dates fields in the Object Pallette the object type is a date/time field and for quantity/currency fields corresponding fields are taken
now in case the either the date, quantity or currency is initial in place of displaying 0.00 or empty date we need to display N/A (Not Applicable)
for this I would like to change the data type of the field
to put it simply --
we need to change the data type of date field from DATE&TIME to Char type to hold N/A or Quantity field to Char field to hold N/A
how can we realize this in SAP adobe forms

Hello Ramchander,
     You cannot change the data type of the field at run time in Adobe forms because the type of field you choose at the time of design level is associated with the data type itself.
If you want to achieve your requirement, then your main idea should be to set the data type as CHARACTER itself while designing the field in the adobe form itself. CHAR field will comfortably hold the value of Calculation/amount field, Currency field, Amount, Date, Time HHMMSS, Unit Accuracy, Currency key, Floating point number, Numeric text, Client, Language and many other data types.
After designing the field as TEXT field in Adobe form you have two options.
Option 1:
Select the Date field initially as type TEXT field or CHAR field in Adobe forms.
Suppose the name of the field is TEXTFIELD1, then write the Javascript code on this field in Initialize event as below.
if ( this.rawvalue == null )
     this.rawvalue = "N/A";
If the field is not blank, then it will show the date. Else it will show "N/A".
Option 2:
Select the Date field initially as type TEXT field or CHAR field in Adobe forms. Do the formatting part in ABAP itself. It will increase the performance. Avoid Javascript as much as possible.
Suppose you have a DATE variable l_dats of type DATS. Then take another variable l_date of type CHAR. Then write the below ABAP code.
MOVE l_dats TO l_date.
IF l_date IS INITIAL.
     l_date = 'N/A'.
ENDIF.
Bind the l_date to the TEXT field in the form.
Even in this case, if the field is not blank, then it will show the date. Else it will show "N/A".
But I will suggest you to use Option 2 of keeping the AMOUNT, QUANTITY, DATE, TIME fields etc as CHAR or TEXT fields in Adobe form and do the required formatting in ABAP itself.
