I need to change my Itunes ID on Iphone but It won't let me.

Settings > Store > Apple ID > Sign out
After you have done that then just press on sign in and change the Apple ID

I need to change my iTune Password and in order to do so I need to know my security question. Obvioulsy I forgot but it does not give me any options to remmber or get to some point to change my password

If you can't remember your security questions and answers, the optional rescue email provides a way to reset them. You can read more about that here:

If you did not provide a rescue email address, you can't reset your security questions and you'll need to contact iTunes Store support to have them reset.

Plug the iphone in and go to the music tab in the iphone,not your itunes library.There will be a button in the borrom right that says autofill. Click that and it should thransfer all your music. It worked for me,and i had the same problem.

hi i just bought my iphone and i need to set up itunes. on my phone it says connect to itunes and i already connected the usb cable but it wont move forward. what should i do

once the phone is connected, turn on itunes if the program did not automatically turn on.
from there you will see your device; in this case your iphone.
You will see tabs along the top for music, movies and so on... go thru each tab and make sure you have the settings or your choice.
on the main tab near the bottom right you will see the sync button; click it and wait.

I have been usind a joint account and need to separate things.
I have music that I have purchased in iTunes and want to move it to my new apple ID account.
It seems like that should be possible, but I can't fins it anywhere. I realize I may have to purchase apps in the new account or something. I just can't find out how to make it happen.

Pretty sure they will stay on the iPhone.
If they need updates, you will have to enter the password for the iTunesID they were purchased with.
Settings > iCloud. Delete the account and re-add new account.
Settings > Messages - iMessage - Off then turn it back on with new AppleID.
Settings > iTunes & App store. Tap AppleID, sign out then sign back in.
Settings > FaceTime and make sure it is using your phone number, not your AppleID.

Cannot change old itunes username on iPhone

Hello. I have an iPhone 4, two separate iTunes account logins, all on one computer. When I try to update or add new Apps on the iphone the iTunes screen pops up asking for the password as expected. However, the login name that shows is for an older itunes login that is no longer used. I've checked the Settings-Store info and the CORRECT itunes account shows there. I've done a complete Restore through iTunes (not using a backup) and it still showed up after the restore. I've tried logging in with the correct iTunes account through iTunes, then syncing...still there. I've tried logging out and back in with the correct account...and the incorrect older account login still pops up when trying to add or update Apps. Is their anything I'm missing here?

you may need to authorize your computer with the new account? just a suggestion.

My wife and I both have Itunes accounts but somehow my iphone is linked to her account. I simply want to link my iphone to my account and can't discover how to do this. Should be very simple I guess but if i try and edit her ID on Itunes by putting mine in, it says that I can't as my ID is already in use!! Aagh!

My recommendation would be to set this up as a brand new iPhone, just as if it came out of the box.
Do that in Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings
You will then be directed to the welcome to iPhone screen, just as you would with a brand new device.

I need to change where iTunes receipts are being sent

I currently have my Apple ID and Primary email address as @gmail.com. My alternate email addresses are @me.com and @icloud.com. I am moving all of my mail over to the latter and can't figure out how to change where my itunes receipts are being sent (@gmail.com presently). Can someone please point out the obvious because it's making me crazy searching.

Receipts will be sent to whatever you have as your primary email address for your Apple ID. You can change that via Manage your Apple ID here:
