Here is the process, not in any particular order: cancel the Skype Number you no longer need, and start a new Skype Number subscription. Believe it or not, that is all there is to it!

Yes, however only by
cancelling the Skype Number subscription you currently have; and
starting a new Skype Number subscription.
Be sure to explain the circumstances when you please contact Skype Customer Service to request a refund as Skype Number subscriptions are not refundable.

I need to change the country and online number

I bought this online number yesterday, and just figured out that I shouldn't have set the country as the US. I desperately need to change the country. If not, there is no use for using this online number, and I'll have to cancel it.
And if I cancel it, can I get a refund of $18 I've payed for the number and my leftover credit? Please let me know ASAP ..

There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

Sounds like you accidently got changed to another store....
So, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, and click on your AppleID at the top. Then click on View account, sign in, and then click on Country/Region, and follow the instructions to change your store to South Africa.
That should take care of it!

I have just taken a Skype number and wanted to try it out first on a months payment plan....
I now want to change this to an anual payment plan how do I do this?

I know this sounds bizarre, however what you need to do is let your Skype Number subscription run its course and expire. Once it does, then you can sign on to your account details where you manage your payment methods, subscriptions, and so on, and Reactivate the number. When you do, you can change the term of the subscription.
After your Skype Number expires, the number will be held for you for 90 days.

UK Skype Number - no need for country code?

Hi
Just bought a UK Skype Number here in Oz.
Just double checking that for family in the UK, they just need to enter the 11 digit Skype number, not the UK country code as well- because it is an online number (eg. 0113 not +44 113 etc)??
Dont want to send the number out there incorrectly or give them uneccessarily long number to dial!

1. Allow your current Skype Number subscription to expire. You won't lose your number -- it will be held on your account for reactivation for 90 days following the subscription expiration date.
2. After the subscription expires sign on to your account details. You should be presented with a triangle icon with an exclamation mark inside it and be greeted with the message that your Skype Number subscription has expired. Click on the "Reactivate" link and proceed to "renew". You should now be able to renew.

As strange as it sounds, this is how to change the term of your Skype Number subscription:
Cancel, yes; cancel, your current month-to-month Skype Number subscription. This will prevent the month-to-month subscription from renewing. You have use of the Skype Number until the last day of the subscription.
Sign on to your account dashboard the next day or even the day of your current subscription's expiration, where you should be greeted with a triangle icon alerting you to reactivate your Skype Number. Click on the link beside it, where you will be able to reinstate your subscription for a longer term.
(Your Skype Number will be held on your account for 90 days after the month-to-month subscription ends.)

Something I did several years ago (before I had Muse) when my wife began her jewelry business was create a website in the traditional way (at that time using Fireworks and Dreamweaver), but rather than have people buying directly from her site, there was a link to her Etsy shop. She could personalize the Etsy shop as much as she wanted, add/subtract jewelry on the fly, etc.
There are some good e-commerce solutions out there. One that looks promising is Shoplocket. You can check it out here at MuseThemes.
To your point about a lack of quality tutorials, I somewhat agree. The ones Adobe provide, albeit free, are more hit and miss. I've had better luck at Lynda.com where they offer video courses on the various software. Of course, they're not free, but for $25/mo. I've gotten a lot of value from them.

I've just purchased a South African Skype number and received all of the confirmation emails. The trouble is that I cannot call that SKype Number from my mobile phone - I get a pre-recorded message saying it's not a valid extension and that I should try again.

Hoping someone could give me some direction. I was trying to get some skype help and this is the closest thing I could find. I currently have a U.S skype number. If I switch to unlimited world subcription, will my number change? Is it free for other people to call that number?

No; a Skype Number subscription is a stand-alone subscription; in other words, it is not tied or bundled to other subscriptions.
Is it free for other people to call that number?
To clarify, a Skype Number is a fixed line or land line number. Therefore, calls to the number will not incur toll charges if the number is in the caller's "local" calling range. Otherwise, the caller should expect to incur toll charges.

Need to Immediately Deactivate a Skype Number

I purchased a Skype number that turns out to have been previously owned by a scam operation and is still receiving calls. I alreaday purchased a second Skype number to replace it, and canceled the first number.
The problem is that the first number is still active until the end of the subscription in 2015.
How can I deactivate this number immediately? I don't expect a refund, I just want it to go away now. I really don't want to shut down the entire Skype account and lose my Skype name just to deactivate a phone number.
