    code]

    Hi Kaj ,
Well I am in a situation where we need to extend a
existing system and we are providing the client with
a new jar file for every modification. Now all I need
is that our programe automatically add (infect
append) the jar file in the existing system
CLASSPATH, so that the client need not to add(append)
the new jar files all the time.
Can you provide any help??As others have said, use -cp as argument when you start your application. It's quite common that people write a script that adds all jars in a certain directory to the argument to -cp.

  • Changing the System Font

    Hi all,
I made the mistake, from my prospective, of installing Yosemite. I am hoping there is an easy way that I am simply missing to change the system font. I find this micro-font impossible to read.
    Thanks

The only option I know of is to scale the display.
System Preferences > Displays > Display ( Tab ) > Change Resolution: To Scaled > Select Larger Text.
Are you on Yosemite? I do not show any entry to select larger text. I can change the resolution to scaled, but that changes the entire resolution when I only want to change the text, preferably without adding any third party software.

  • Is it possible to change proxy settings for all profiles that´s created instead of the standard options. We need to change "use systems proxy" into "automatic"

    Proxy Problems
We need to be able to change the default settings for the proxy for all profiles on our computers that´s created for new users.
Standard is that firefox takes the option "use the system options" for the proxy. We would like it to use the option "automatic" instead like IE and Chrome does.
Considering that we have over 500 computers doing this manually isn´t an option, because a new profile is created everytime someone logs on to a computer they haven´t used before.

You can use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify new default values.
Place a file local-settings.js in the defaultspref folder where you also find the file channel-prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg.
    pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
    pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0); // use this to disable the byte-shift
    See:
You can use these functions in mozilla.cfg:
defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes
This will work for all existing and newly created profiles.

  • How do I change the system font size?

Just a got a new Macbook pro. Love it but can't figure out how to change the font size for the whole system. I can adjust the content of specific windows  but I can't seem to change the size of text in the address bar, tool bar, menu bar, etc. Everything is way too small on this big beautiful screen!

Also use Firefox and the following add-ons:
NoSquint and Theme Font & Size Changer
NoSquint will remmeber your zoom setings per website and Theme Font will change the size of the menu type itself
Firefox is a highly customizable browser, the menu area can be themed with a persona picture, which is the blue and white type you see.
A lot easier and softer on the eyes than Safari's black and grey (less depressing too)

  • Need to change user & system status of trade promotion

    Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to advance a user status if system status is changed based on some creiteria.
Similarly a system status will be changed on a particular user status.
Which table is updated for status of trade promotion? Which class/method can be used for it?
    Regards,
    Shikha

    Hello Shikha,
Status management on the whole in CRM is pretty complex at the db level as there are so many nr of tables. So, i feel it is better not to go more deep.
Individual application frameworks like one order, marketing has extended the status management for their needs which resulted in pretty good number of APIs for status related actions.
Try the using the following methods of the class CL_CRM_MKTPL_APPL_BASE
    1) STATUS_READ --> to read the active status of the marketing object at that point of time
    2) STATUS_SET --> for this method pass the business transaction associated with the status of your marketing project.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Vinay

  • Setting system Font

I need to change the system font(font of menu bar, application window fonts etc). I am a recent switcher who worked on windows earlier and my main issue is that on windows, most of the font, whether on taskbar or desktop or windows or right click menu etc, you will find it to be uniformly same font and size. i think it is Tahoma(equivalent of Geneva on Mac). this makes windows a bit easier on the eyes as i dont ahve to constantly adjust to different fonts and sizes. on my iMac with resolution of 1400x900, the fonts are very bad. some are too small and make me squint and then some fonts right next to them are too big. Is there a way i can set them all to some font of my liking? is there a free third party tool that does it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Please note that i dont want to change the screen resolution.

    Hi CosMac,
Nope, the normal version has those options. Launch TinkerTool and click on the Fonts icon in the top row. You'll see that you change both the fonts and point size for various system and menu options. Just click the Change button by those you want to modify and choose either a new font, point size, or both.
Note, while I and others have pointed this option out to others a fair number of times, I've never tried it myself, so can't say how well it works.

  • System font issue

    Hello.
I'm running a Xfce4 DE, and I seem to be having an issue with my system font. It started after installing vlc, and the accompanying ttf-freefont package.
Here is an example of what is happening.
    http://imgur.com/a/4FwKB
The top pic is with the messed up font, and the bottom is what it loked like after a fresh install of Arch with Xfce4.
As you can see several of the letters in the text overlap. The thing is that I never changed the system font, and only the size, after the inital Arch install.
    http://imgur.com/GfWME
This problem affects all sorts of programs... Terminal, Firefox, wxHexEditor, etc.
In the case of my hex editor, it renders it useless.

Your first image has overlapping fonts because your default fonts has been changed when you installed VLC. You can try removing  the ttf-freefont like here
Your second image looks fine(you will need fonts settings as per the wiki, which is why i linked the page), it doesnt have overlapping fonts. what exactly are you asking here?

  • How to change the system time in (E-Business Suite)

    Hi,
I need to change the system timings in E-Business Suite.
My Database & Application is on different nodes..
How could i change system timings on both...
    Thanks,
    Alig

    Alig,
Changing the OS date/time will have no impact on the data (except for the scheduled jobs at the database and the OS levels). As mentioned in the threads I referenced above, you have to stop the application/database, change the date/time at the OS level, and start the application.
The application is just an interface which connects to the database, so it gets all the data from the database server. However, if you want to change the date/time it has to be done on both nodes (stop all the services first as mentioned above).
Btw, what is the point of changing the date/time because of Ramadan? The business requirement of your client does not make sense (how does it differ from the application/database perspective if you start working at 9:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM for example)?
The steps in the document should be enough, and if you do not trust any of the replies here you could simply log a SR and confirm this with Oracle support.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Change logical system names after system copy

    Hi!
We successfully installed SAP ECC 6.0 system as system copy.
All the logical system names of old system have been copied to new system.
    Question
What is the approach to change the logical system names for new SAP system?
    a) just via tcode SCC4
    b) via BDLS
    c) other tcodes, reports
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Jürgen

    Hi,
Go though the system copy guide.
    http://service.sap.com/instguides
    After system copy,
If you need to change logical system names in the system that results from the copy, change the logical system names as described in SAP Notes 103228 and 544509.
    https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/103228
    https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/544509
Before running BDLS to change the logical system name, you have to define the correct logical system name in the new copied system. in tcode BD54.
    - while running BDLS, execute in background.
    Regards,
    Debasis.

  • Changing the system Name after Installing EP

    Hi All,
I need to change the system name of the server and the IP address of the server after EP is installed. Is it possible to do this? Will the EP work properly?
    Regards
    Arun

    Hi Arun,
There is many reference in the config of the portal to the server name.
I doubt you will be able to do it without difficulties.
If you use KM, you will have trouble with internal links in documents. We had to install an apache server for redirection when we migrated/upgraded from EP6 SP2 to 2004s, because the server's name changed.
Also, you will need to reinstall the local edit activeX to your users.
I hope someone can answer you better than me.
There always the system copy option.

  • How to increase system font size in Lion

I just bought a new imac 27 inches display. At full resolution the font are sooo tiny. How can you increase the size of these system fonts without affecting the resolution?

You can use Tinkertool to change the system font size.

  • Yosemite has changed my menu font.

Yosemite has changed my font for the toolbar menu at the top of my iMac. Can I change it to something more easily legible for me?

No. The font changed from Lucida Grande to Helvetica Neue with OS X Yosemite. This was a publicized change. It looks glorious on retina machines; it's perhaps slightly less legible on non-Retina machines.
You can't change the system font, without resorting to hacks which could cause system instability.

  • Changing my G5 fonts

Lucia Grande is the OSX systems chosen , or default , onscreen text . I have lost patience with upper case (eye) I (I l) being for my fading eyesight indistinguishable with (el) l (lI) . The choice , if there is one , that would find my favour would be one that reintroduced serifs . Thank you FRP

Thank you for the tip , I had quite forgotten the Tinker Tool . I was a bit hesitant to do anything aside from writing to , Apple Discussions , after reading the following regarding my "System Font" entry in the Finders Help -
If you try to change or remove fonts used to display onscreen text on your computer, an alert message will appear. You should not change system fonts unless you’re experienced with fonts and know how the change will affect your system.
You can turn off system font alerts in Font Book preferences.
    - This was not encouraging either in missing the point of interest to me , or the blunt warning to not mess with the "System Font" in particular .
Are you satisfied that Tinker Tool changing the System Font Lucia Grande to prehaps Helvetica will be an uneventful change ? Perhaps some font used for as a System Font reacts poorly in that position ?
Thank you for your time , FRP
