Need to Close WD App Window

Hi Experts,
I need to CLOSE my WD Application by triggering a action from a button(placed on the window).
PS-> Please note i need to close main application window.
I had gone thru the link:

Could you please let me know, how i can achieve that in WD for ABAP?

Thanks for the Information. Its working Fine. Now the problem is when i am pressing my button to close the window, a pop-up is coming asking for the confirmation.
Is there is some way to avoid that pop-up message?

I've had my black 5Gb Zen Micro over 2 years, used nearly daily and zero problems.
I bought a red 8Gb Zen MicroPhoto last summer, for the car. Again, plugged it in, loaded a bunch of music, never looked back. Another daily player, and all it's done is play music flawlessly.
I also bought a silver 52Mb MuVo TX FM last summer for outdoor stuff and it did have one problem around December, but re-loading the firmware took maybe 5 minutes and it's been perfect ever since.
At least in my experience, Creative players have been trouble free and good value.
My brother got an iPod Shuffle given to him for a Christmas present and it locked up the first day. He ended up selling it and buying a Gb Zen Nano Plus.

Safari crashes when I close the app window

Everytime I close an safari window ( + w or hit the cross) the app crashes. Does anyone know this issue? I have an mile long crash report if that helps anyone in here, but I wouldn't want to spam such a long report, if it doesn't help..

Cannot turn off or restart macbook pro, need to close one app down but app not closing

HI, I've purchased microsoft windows pacage for mac, every thing works beautifully. for some reason today after trying to send an email using outlook, i tried to quit the outlook in order to shut down my laptop and it isnt quiting, my macbook isnt letting me restart without quitting outlook, what should i do?

Try force quitting ..
Command + Option + Esc
You can also force quit from your Apple menu  drop down menu.

Windows 7 x64, switchable graphics - often fails (close 3D apps). How to find out reason

I have Windows 7 x64 along with the latest end/2010 ati/intel switchable video driver.
Whilst switchable graphics usually works great after login, it rarely takes long before I'm in a state where the switch will fail - reporting an error that I need to close 3D apps etc.
Even if I close all apps (and check running processes+kill) I still cannot switch, though if I log off/on things are usually back to normal.
How can I find out the reason WHY (exactly the switch fails.
Is this logged anywhere
Can I enable trace
Are there known defects in this area

Thunderbird Mac - command+w for close Mail & newsgroups window not working

I use almost all keyboard shortcuts. So when I need to close the email window without quitting the program, I've *always* just hit command+w. It stopped working a few days ago. it doesn't even work if I choose "close window" in the File menu. In order to close the window, I have to click the close button in the corner.
Can anyone help me figure out why this suddenly happened?

Your system info confirms you have the G5 iMac w/iSight. So do I & mine did not come w/the Pro Keyboard.
According to Apple's iMac G5 (iSight) - Technical Specifications site:
Hardware accessories: Apple Remote, Apple Keyboard, Mighty Mouse.
Now, to your problem.............
See if trashing the keyboard preference helps and/or repairing permissions.
Does the problem occur in other browsers? If so, maybe updating your OS may help. Just a thought.

Oracle Intelligent Agent Exe encountered a problem and needed to close

Whenever the server is rebooted I get the error "Oracle Intelligent Agent Executable encountered a problem and needed to close". The agent won't start, and I found a work around that included deleting files from the network/agent and admin folders, then restarting the agent. This works, however the next time the server reboots I have to go through all of this again. Any ideas why this keeps occurring?
Also, what does this agent do? I've read through some documentation and can't quite tell if I actually need it started. Do you use this agent to only remotely monitor/administer through OEM? I'm really confused and could use some insight. All my process appear to be working fine.

Because of the error message I guess you are on Windows and database version is lower than 10g (by the way it's always a good idea to tell the environment, because Oracle runs on different platforms in different versions).
... 'encountered a problem and needed to close' is generic Windows error message with millions of possible reasons. So it's not possible to find remotely a solution. You are right, Intelligent Agent is a counterpart of OEM, but outside production environments rarely needed. I recommend you change the service properties from 'automatic' to 'manual' in control panel. So it does not start at reboot time.

I just want to close an app!

So I am in an app, I want to close this app so I quit it once by pressing my home button but then I have to double click the home button, hold my finger down on the icon and close it again by tapping that tiny red dot! Is there no easier way?

There is no need to close apps. The OS will do that itself if it needs to. It seems you may not have fully understood how multitasking and the *Recently Used Apps* list works in iOS4.
Here's quick overview:
"Multitasking" in iOS4 works in 2 ways:
1) If the app uses iOS4's "Fast App Switching" then when you press the Home button, the app is frozen in memory, allowing you to switch back to it instantly via the *Recently Used Apps* list or Homescreen, and it will not have to reload and your position in the app will be remembered.
2) If the app uses one of the new iOS4 multitasking services (i.e. Background Audio, Background Location, Voice over IP or Task Completion), then when you press the Home button, those things will continue in the background, while you switch to and use another app.
When you double-press the Home button, you are showing a list of *Recently Used Apps* which can either be:
a) Completely not-running at all (mainly in the case of apps not yet updated for iOS4)
b) Frozen in memory, waiting to be instantly switched to
c) Performing one of the 4 multitasking processes in the background.
You do not need to concern yourself with removing (closing) every App from the *Recently Used Apps* list. If the OS needs to close an App to free up memory, it will do it itself.

I did get a "server busy" message when I loaded quicktime, but I'm not sure if it is related or not since I've been seeing that over the last couple of days, I can't remember if it came before iTunes stopped working or not. That message reads "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'switch to' to activate the busy program and correct the problem." My options then are to choose switch to or retry. When I press "switch to" my Start menu opens, and nothing appears to happen when I select retry.
that's an odd sort of a message (or series of messages).
hmmmmm. let's try an experiment aimed at working out if there's a program interfering with the QuickTime (which is in turn causing grief with your iTunes).
try a selective startup using MSCONFIG, with just the itunes and QuickTime background processes enabled, as per the following document:

does QT open without the strange message after the selective startup?
does iTunes launch properly?

Quark Xpress shows err "Spooler Subsystem App needs to close" - HP Laserjet Pro P1606DN

Purchased a new HP Laserjet Pro P1606 DN network printer. Installation went smooth on all computers.
When people tried to print from Quark Xpress, the document get spooled and loaded to the print queue and then we get the error "Spooler subsystem app experienced a problem and needs to close"
The recovery has been set to "restart the service" for print spooler.
Users are able to print from other applications.
Just found a thread that stated to disable Advanced Printer settings on the Advanced tab of Properties. Checked but the issue still persists.
Users are on Windows XP and printer was using the smart install from the printer.
Kindly advise if there is something else to tweak in the printer properties or something to tweak in Quark Xpress v6.1.

I understand you are unable to reinstall the printer software.
I will be happy to help you.
The print spooler is part of the Windows operating system and if it doesn't stay running the printer software won't install or print.
You could try the following steps to see if this will resolve the issue.
Normally with spooler problems the first thing to do is to clear the print queue.
Open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type cmd and press Enter.
Now type these commands, which are in capitals for clarity:
NET STOP SPOOLER and press Enter
DEL %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS\*.* and press Enter
NET START SPOOLER and press Enter
EXIT and press Enter
If you are still having issues with the print spooler stopped then right click on the start button, left click on explore, open the windows folder, open system32 folder, open the spool folder, open the printer's folder, then delete everything on the right window.
Then go back and try and start the print spooler again.
Run a full uninstall of the printer software. Disconnect the USB cable.
To uninstall from CD:
Go start and select computer.
Right click on the CD for the printer and left click open in a new window.
Double click on uninstall.
Uninstall printer from the C Drive.
Go to start, computer, c:, windows, program files or program files x86, HP, printer name. Double click uninstall. Restart the computer.
Check to make sure the print spooler is running.
Ran the installation again. Don't connect the USB cable until prompted.
If the print spooler stops again you will need to contact the computer manufacturer to resolve this issue.

I downloaded a copy of Creative Cloud desktop but it says that my Muse is up to date. It was last updated in May but you have a new update today and it will not update. I thought maybe I am not suppose to have the Creative Cloud update because all I have is the individual app Muse and the photography program. So I uninstalled the CC desktop. Then when I open Muse it says I need the CC desktop to help with the update. So I get stopped either way. Now I also had a Pre-Release Muse on my computer and I don't know if that complicated things. Please advise.

All future installs/updates of Muse (and most other Adobe apps) are through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Thus you do need to have it installed.

Ability to actually close an app needed

A few days ago there was a thread started about how to actually close an app. Most of the responses were "Why do you need to?".
Well I found a reason. Was reading the NY Times app and it completely froze on two different occassions. Now if the Home button was still closing apps - or if there was another way to close apps - I would not have had to do a full power down. Because now the app would only "minimize" - at least that is what Windows users call it - and would only reopen to it's previous frozen state. So we do need a way to actually close an app.

The app may already be closed.
The task bar shows all app recently opened, even if they are not still running.
You may have to power down anyway.
To remove items from the Task bar (whether they are running or not)...
Double tap Home. Tap and hold on one of the icons in the task bar until they jiggle, then tap the X in the top left of the icon to close and remove it from the task tray.

Firefox won't open a message tells me it is all ready running I need to close the window to open firefox. Firefox is not open so why do I get this message

When I try to open firefox a box opens up and tells me firefox is already running in another window and I need to close the window if I want to open firefox in a new window. Firefox is already closed, nothing is left open when I close out firefox. I would only have this problem once in a while but now it is happening more often why?

Open Task Manager and click on the Processes tab. Scroll down to "Firefox.exe" , click on that line and click on "End Process" button.
