Need to convert labview files from version 4.0 to 8.6

I have a few labview .iv files that I need to convert to version 8.6.  They were created in version 4.0.  Can I download an intermediate verison of labview to process the conversion?  Or can i order a cd?

Typically, you would need access to several version of LabVIEW to do the conversion.
Open the 4.0 VI in 5.1, save.
Open the 5.1 VI in 7.1, save.
Open the 7.1 VI in 8.6, save.
This example uses the most popular versions - ones you are most likely to encounter. 6.i was also popular, and might work somewhere in there.

  • Need help converting project file from Creative Cloud to CS6

    Hello.
I started a project file on the Adobe Creative Cloud and I am trying to convert the file to CS6 (as that is what all my editors have). I have all of my time codes generated in Creative Cloud and I need the easiest solution to share the file across platforms with out corrupting it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I am the director of the project- so I am not very technically inclined to answer these questions, but will try my best. My lead editor dropped out of the project leaving me very confused and I am trying to establish a new workflow based off of her existing project file.
The original project was started in Adobe Creative Cloud. I am now trying to use Adobe CS6 and I am trying to figure out if we can convert a file from Creative Cloud > CS6. If you can provide a list of questions for me to ask my previous editor I can direct them to her and try to provide a more concise answer. Thanks for your help.

  • I need to convert a file from PDF to doc to make changes to it.  How do I do this without getting an error message?

I can not convert a PDF file to a doc file. I have an older computer program and need to do this in order to make changes to a form.  I just signed up for ADOBE about an hour ago. I keep getting a error message.

    Hi subscription question,
I've checked your account; it looks like you tried to place two separate orders this morning, but it doesn't appear that either went through. However, it does sound as though you've been able to convert a file successfully. What happens when you log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files? Do you see your converted file there? All converted files are automatically stored in your online account, even when you convert from within Reader.

  • In anticipating upgrading to Premiere Elements 13, I need to know what "gotchas" there might be in loading project files from version 10 (in case someone needs another DVD/Blu-Ray)

Particularly, can I load project files from version 10 (in case someone needs another DVD/Blu-Ray)

What computer operating system is involved?
There is no guarantee that a project created in an earlier version can be opened in a later one. Many times it can, but...
If you do try this, then please consider working from a copy of the project 10 project file and then trying to open that in 13/13.1.
Reason: projects created in an earlier version and then opened and edited in a later version cannot be opened again in the
    earlier version.
And, there is always the issue of maintaining the connect of the source media with the project file. Is this move from 10 to 13/13.1
happening on the same computer and are the source media in the same place where they were when they were first imported
into the 10 project. Disc menus consideration may enter into this depending on your details.

    Hi M & B P,
Please give the following a try:
If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, log out, clear the cache, and then log back in.
If you're converting from within Reader, choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version.
Please let us know how it goes. If you're still having problems, please let us know how you're converting, what browser you're using, and whether you're on Mac OS and Windows. We'll do some deeper digging if need be.
    Best,

  • DNG converter not converting RAW files from Canon 70D.

DNG converter not converting RAW files from Canon 70D (it does not see them). I tried DNG converter version 8.2 and 8.4. No success. I use iMac. What is wrong?

hopefully, that's a typo on adobe's website because they list the canon 70d as using a .cs2 file extension, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
i don't see any other camera that uses a .cs2 extension and i don't see other people having problems, so that probably is a typo.
in any case, cr 8.2 or better is able to convert your camera's raw files.  why you are having a problem i can't say, but double check that you are navigating to the correct folder by adding a file that will show up in your dng converter.

I need to drag a file from my time machine backup to a usb

You can restore it to the original location as a copy, if you have a newer version there that you want to keep. So Restoring a file from TM won't over-write a newer file.

  • Converting AVCHD files from .mt2s VS Ingesting Directly with FCE

I found this out by mistake.
I am working with lots of older footage taken on a Sony Camera in AVCHD. Originally I downloaded much of that footage to my PC using Sony's software Picture Motion Browser (PMB).
All of the files stored on my PC were taken from the camera into .mt2s format.
I have decided to work with Mac and now needed to convert those files to .mov to use in FCE.
I used a third party program called ClipWrap and it worked well. MPEG Stream Clip will also do this well.
My files converted to .mov this way ended with files that retained their same file names as existed from the original download to the PC in .mt2s format. I find this an amazing advantage as these file names hold the full date and time shot information. Year, month, day ... e.g. 20090223132124
If on the other hand I ingest files using FCE, the resulting file names default to clip numbers only e.g. clip #1 Clip #2 etc. ... and all the date information is gone.
? My question is this ... Is it OK or advisable to go thru this 2 step process for the file name convenience? Do I lose anything in this double step ... such as file quality, data or anything else that would hurt the end result in my final editing in FCE?

If you feel the ClipWrap/Streamclip approach is more convenient, go for it. As long as you're using the program to convert directly to the Apple Intermediate Codec then the only thing you lose is time (in my experience Log and Transfer ingests a bit faster + has a nicer interface).

I need to convert PDF file to Word Document, so it can be edited. But the recognizing text options do not have the language that I need. How I can convert the file in the desired of me language?

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
    Do cleanup.
    Be well...

There is another option if the Macbook will start up in Target Disk Mode.
Restart the computer while holding down the T key. If you see the firewire symbol moving around on the screen you can connect this one to another one in TDM. You will need a suitable cable to connect the two Macs.

how can i convert video files from my mac to watch them on my iphone?, how can i convert video files to watch them on my iphone?

Turns out the answer to that question changes if you ask it more than 4 times, so ask it again....
The answer depends on the type of video files you want to convert.  If they are DRM protected commercial videos, no help can be given here.  Google.
