Need to create a flame in photoshop

Hello,
I'm trying to create a birthday club logo. What I'm trying to do is create a flame over a two (the two is part of out logo) kind of like it would look on a birthday cake.
If that doesn't work, I was going to dot the i with a flame in birthday.
How can I create this? Is there a decent font out there? Thanks

I need to create an animation sequence in photoshop cs6 longer than 5 seconds. please help.

What problem are you having that should be easy just create the layer to make frames with. Create a frame animation in the timeline panel. Create the frames and set their display time. Save an animated gif for the web ie "Save For Web"
Prior to CS6 Photoshop only had a Animation Palette in CS Adobe replaced the palette with the Timeline Palette that can do Frame animations and Video. You can render a fame animation as a video but video does not support transparency like and animated Gif.

  • I need to create an accessible pdf anyone know how? im using photoshop cs4

I need to create a PDF that will be used by a screen reader... i.e Jaws but dont know how to, can anyone help?

Don't use Photoshop. Accessibility means sensibly formatted paragraph text, links, comments and metadata that can be interpreted by the reader engine and other accessibility aides, none of which PS will care for as it is primarily concerned with retaining the appearance.

  • Help needed to create Quik Time VR movies, step by step

    Hello,
    thank you for your attenction.
I need to create Quick time vr movies, and I need to know the exact sequance of steeps to do it, and if the starting point I use is correct.
    1) I shooted a sequence of photos with my digital camera (for example: www.stebianchi.com/quicktimevrhelp/still-photo.jpg).
    2) Then, with photoshop (CS4) I choose: Automate/photomerge and I select all them to joint them in a bigger 360° panoramic one (www.stebianchi.com/quicktimevrhelp/pan.jpg). If, untill here, all is correct, the first question: in photoshop Photomerge layout option, do I have to choose one voice "auto, perspective, cylindrical, spherical, etc..." rather than anoter one of these?
    3) from here, I really need your help.
First of all: the great doubt:
My photos can not cover a spherical panorama, they're only a "ring" around a center (and not a spherical texture). To cover all the surface (or almost all, ok...) of my ambient, do I have to use a wider lens on my camera or there is a different solution (for ex a vertical photomerge?).
    4) Done this, I think I shuold buy a software like Cubic converter, to set and export the QTVR movie. Right?
    Thanks a lot guys,
    all the best!
    Stefano

You can call your local apple store(find one on the home page of apple.com) and they will give you instructions how to convert DVD to iPod. That is what they told me, but from what I heard, you may need more than Quicktime Pro. Just call and ask them, because if you make a manual of how to do it, it could help me a lot.
(I'm looking for a good DVD converter, already know some, beside the internet download ones)

  • I need to create a banner in Fireworks but the canvas is only allowed to go up to 6000px at 300dpi, is there a way to make it larger?

I need to create a banner in Fireworks but the canvas is only allowed to go up to 6000px at 300dpi, is there a way to make it larger?

Do NOT use Fireworks for print work. Use Illustrator, InkScape, InDesign, Scribus, Xara Designer Pro, Photoshop, etc, anything BUT Fireworks. Fireworks is meant for web graphics.
However, if you are still convinced it is a good idea to do this in Fw, there is a way to increase the max canvas size:
    Source
However, you can change the limit.
Make sure that Fireworks is closed, open Fireworks CS6 Preferences.txt file located in:
    Windows 7/Vista: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS6\English\
    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS6\English\
    MacOS X: Library/Preferences/Adobe Fireworks CS6/en/
    and change
      <key>MaxDocSizeInPixels</key> <integer>6000</integer>
    to
      <key>MaxDocSizeInPixels</key> <integer>10000</integer>
or adjust this number as needed.

  • Creating DVD menu in Photoshop?

    Hi all,
I'm wondering if it's possible to create a menu using Photoshop and import it into DVD Studio Pro with all the layers intact along with all the buttons? I am used to using Adobe Encore which has this feature. All you need to do in Photoshop is name each layer a certain way and as soon as you import your .psd file into Encore it automatically converts each specified layer to a button, image, link, etc. Does DVD Studio Pro have this feature as well?
    Thanks all!

Does not sound like it is the same (you cannot automatically create links etc.)

if the file name is already exist i want to modify or delete or add whatever i need.
    Kindly help me simple way

You may want to look into getting Xtools ps-scripts - Browse Files at SourceForge.net then.  Most of the support is for ActionManager script code where XML code is use as an intermediate step.  There are quite a few Photoshop script in XTools .   Ross Huitt is an expert javascript programmer though is is fed up with Adobe's lack of support for Photoshop scripting particularly the bugs in ScriptUI he is still maintaining tool he  has created for us free of charge. Tools like Image Processor Pro. None of his scripts are save as binary so you can read all of his code there is a wealth of knowledge in there....
Also there is a scripting forum Photoshop Scripting

  • What software do I need to create this animation?

Please watch the first 60 seconds of this video.  I want to create videos pretty much exactly like this fellow is doing.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYvmjdqpT7Y
What software do I need to create those multi-layered still-image animations?  I assume it's the same software that also does the animated text.
Anyone know what he's using to get those still images to animate under and over each other?
    -JOHN

Thank you for the replies.  I read up a bit on the software you all recommended.  The consensus seems to be that Motion is easier and more Mac-integrated than AfterEffects.  So, if I follow your advice, it's between Motion and Photoshop.  Photoshop seems to have a steep learning curve compared to Motion (I'm guessing) and Motion is also cheap at $49.
So all those floating images ... one image zooming in over another that stays stable ... pop up text ... all that can be done in Motion, right?
I ask again because the Apple promo page for Motion doesn't really give me an indication of it doing this, but I also understand this is creative software and it can do a lot of things that can't be individually intemized in a promo page.
If I can get those moving graphics, I'm sold.
    Thanks for the lead.

  • Need help creating "rubber stamp" logo

I would like to create what should look like a rubber stamp, to place inside an Indesign document. Something like this (drawn very roughly in Photoshop):
However, although I have Illustrator CS4 (Macintosh version) I've never used it and could need some pointers. I use Photoshop a lot however, so if it's remotely similar it may not be that hard. Basically I want to know:
    - how to create two circles, one inside the other aligned perfectly
    - how to place text in between the two circles, following the curves
    - how to place text in the middle circle
    - how to make the whole logo "worn" as in "not evenly filled with ink", just like a real rubber stamp would look like on paper.
If the latter isn't possible in Illustrator I can easily do it in Photoshop when bitmapped, but if I could create everything in vector graphics the advantage would be a resizeable logo without any loss.

Thanks for all the suggestions and help!
I've now managed to create my "rubber stamp", but couldn't figure out how to get the "worn" effect.
The link posted above is one solution of course (haven't tried it, but understand the principle), however I personally don't think that makes it look realistic enough. So I exported the image into Photoshop, added a mask and painted through with very low opacity to let the background through here and there in varying densities.
That took care of the uneven ink and worn/damaged sections of the rubber stamp.
But upon importing the Photoshop file into my Indesign document I found out that my rubber stamp is a little too small, so now I need to import the Illustrator file into Photoshop again, resize it a little bigger, then apply the mask/editing again from scratch
I guess there's a better way to do this, only I haven't found out how yet. Suggestions?

  • Create HDR-Photo in Photoshop CS6

The process of creating HDR-photo in Photoshop is not started when I send Canon Camera Raw photos (.CR) (3 pieces) by means of Bridge-function "tools / photoshop / create HDR pro" to photoshop; photoshop itsself
open automatically - however, process is not started.

What do you do after making the changes?  Either opening the edited RAW file, or clicking on  Done will create the sidecar (XMP) files which contain all of the information about your adjustments.  The next time you open that RAW file, it will look for an XMP file with the same file name, and use the information contained in it.
If you delete the XMP files, it's back to square one!
You deleted them to save space?  A typical XMP file is probably less than 10kb, which is a tiny fraction of the size of the RAW file.  You need to rethink your strategy.

  • Cannot open files or create new files in Photoshop cc trial

    Hi,
after getting no support from your phone support line. I am writing here in hopes that this issue can be resolved. I cannot open files or create new files in Photoshop CC trial. Please help

You can open Photoshop, you cannot create new documents. If you click file>new, the normal new dialog box opens, if you click "ok" it goes away. If you double click a PSD it focuses the Photoshop window. Nothing else happens.
For me this is a new issue today. My computer is an i7/780, more than capable of Photoshop, and has run it fine up until now. My keyboard started freaking out last night and doing things I didn't want it to. I suspect it changed a setting or broke something.
I have uninstalled and re-installed and it did not resolve the issue.
This is obviously a critical issue that needs immediate attention.

  • Create DVD menu in Photoshop - font show pixels

I googled and search this forum and feel not help me at all.
I created DVD menu in photoshop (CS4) for DVD Studio Pro 4. I selected Film & Video NTSC DV widescreen(SD). Export file as .tif. Create DVD. Font look pixel on HDTV. Is there a way to improve menu looks for HDTV even DVD final output is SD 16:9? Is there guideline?

When you go into Photoshop, make sure that you select a high def alternative to create your menu, not SD.
Create a new file, select Film and Video and look in the list for HDV 1080p or HDTV 1080p as a start point. If you use anything else, you won't get the resolution that you need for HD.
