Need to Create a Last 12 Months Variable for Custom Dimension

Hi everybody
Once again, I need your good help for an issue I'm facing. In one of our Cube, we have some Date Dimension sthat we've created ourselves (a ZCXXXXX dimension). For one Dimension, Ii need to create a variable that is giving me, automaticaly, the Last 12 Months excluding Current Month (same as the 0CML12LM provided by SAP) without any manual entry done by the user via the Variable Entry Screen.
I don't want to use offset because I don't want to allow any Manual intervention for my users because it is a report start via RRI.
Please let me know if you are aware on how to do this!

My problem is that my report is counting Incident per supplier per Month. We have a Key Figure that is doing the Total of incident with a Vendor Variable. So, for a given supplier, if there is no incident for the Incident Month, it won't display in the Result Page. Also, My report is dynamic so I'can not fix a Structure. On the other hand, I never used Strucutre, so I'm not really aware on how using this and if it will answer my need.
If you can give me more details, maybe I'll be able if a Structure is my solution.

I have a requirement for the selection period of my reports. There are 3 possible reporting periods which should be user selectable:
1. Month: Current reporting month
2. Fiscal Year to Date
3. Project Year to Date
Here I need 2 variable to do these, 1 customer exit and 1 user input variable. I have created a variable customer exit to calculate all these requirement. But can any1 tell on how to create the user input variable for my customer exit? I need a user input variable with drop down list like below.
01-Current month
02- Fiscal Year to Date
03-Project Year to Date
I have create a new master data for this variable, but it's not working. What I need now is a standalone master data which do not need to link to any exiting records. Can any1 tell me how to create this?

Just go to the definition of the variable for which you have created a customer exit. There you will find a check box for "Ready for Input". Just tick that checkbox and the variable will be available as a selection variable in the reports selection screen.

Book revenue on this month but the cost of goods sold need to get from last month

I have a question about cost and revenue. We have a standing service repair order and a contract to customer. Because the revenue is calculated by flight cycle so maybe when we get the flight cycle information for this month should be the midle of next month. Due to the monthly end close schedule I need to book the revenue on this month but the cost of the revenue we need the get the cost occur last month. For example, current month is May, 2014 and I book the revenue and posting date is May, 31, 2014. But the cost I just want the amount occurred in customer service order(IW31) on Apr, 2014. And the cost occured in May, 2014 should become WIP. Is it possible? Please advise.

Need records from the last month

Hi, using Oracle 11g R2.
On the last day of each month of each year, I'd like to query data from a table over the last month. For example, if today is December 31st, 2013, I'd like to query only records with a settlement_dt between (and including) Dec 1, 2012 and Dec 31, 2012. My process will run automatically at the end of each month, so I can't hard code the date values. I've developed the following solution, but I was wondering if anyone had other ideas.
TO_CHAR(io.settlement_dt, 'MON')||TO_CHAR(io.settlement_dt, 'YYYY') =
                               TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'MON')||TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'YYYY')

The most efficient way is
      io.settlement_dt >=             TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
AND   io_settlement_dt < ADD_MONTHS (TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH'), 1)
This will allow the optimizer to use an index on io.settlement_dt. Also, it involves only 3 function calls, regardless of how many rows are in the table (that is, no function has to be called for every row).

Tcode SSC1 displays owner's calender. I need to create same calender in WebDynpro for ABAP. I couldn't find any standard component usage for the same. Is there any component usage for the same or is there any altenative to create the same?

You have to use DateNavigator Control to get the left hand side screen in SCC1 and
for the right hand side one you have to work with table Control
for Date Navigator UI control see WDR_TEST_EVENTS
and to get the right hand side screen see WDR_TEST_TABLE see the view SingleMarkableCell.
Using both these standard components you can achieve this.

I have done appraisal document creation for bulk using txt file.
this fm used for single for creation in standard tcode (phap_prepare): 'WZ_HRHAP_0DOC_WZ01_START'.
So create ztcode usinh this fm for single form then record BDC for this tcode and called this tcode in that bdc for bulk creation .
While recording for single I have used manual option instead of automatic .

An account means an iTunes Store account which is an online service. Do you mean that, or do you mean a library on a computer?
iOS devices can only be synced to one iTunes library at a time. You can sync that iPod to your account but it will wipe everything currently on it.

I could post another 2 pages of stuff trying to cover every possible scenario. It would help if you let us know exactly what you want to do. Are you trying to sync just a few songs (like giving them to a friend which is something iTunes is deliberately set up not to do)?

Env variable for custom top showing diffent values

hi,
we cloned the prod to UAT then the
value for env variable for custom top showing different values.
ie,
backend it is showing
echo $XXECO_TOP
/oracle/UAT/apps/apps_st/appl/xxeco/12.0.0 (this is the correct value)
from the front end when we submit the "print environment variable" concurrent request it shows the following incorrect value
/dev/oracle/app/oraprod/apps/apps_st/appl/xxeco/12.0.0 (this is prod value)
please let us know how to correct the value

Need logic to find Year to Date for customer exit variable

Hi to all,
I am creating customer exit variable for query .
query should display data according to current system year from jan till current system date.
here senario is like that user never enter year and query will automatically will fetch the data according to current year starting from jan to current system date.
example.
current year 2010 and today is system date is sep 29 2010, so query will display data from jan 2010 to current data sep 29 2010.
please can any one provide me logic for that.

Hi,
You need to create the characteristic customer exit variable of type select-options. Restrict your keyfigure based on this variable.
In the logic in CMOD,
write as below
i_step =2.
case i_vnam.
When 'exit variable'.
temp = sy-datum+0(4).
concatenate temp '0101' into temp1.
l_s_range-low= temp1.
l_s_range-sign = 'I'.
l_s_range-opt = 'BT'.
l_s_range-high= sy-datum.
append APPEND l_s_range TO e_t_range.
endcase.

Last Month value for the keyfigure in Report

HI ALL,
how do we get keyfigure value for the last month in the report.
for ex: for amount keyfigure should come for the last month rest of the key figures should come for the current month values.
SBU |    AMOUNT (LAST MONTH VALUE) |      QTY(CURRENT MONTH) |     NETPROFIT(CURRENT MONTH)
The above shown is ex as i required in same manner. Even i restricted with calmonth offset value -1 in keyfigure but it is not working. please help me to get solution .

Hi Pinky,
It is not advisable to use offset to get the previous month value.This is not effective in the case when your current month is Jan & u have to get the previous year's dec month value.It is always better to opt for Exits

It is NOT possible to create a Single Edition app for Android. Single Edition apps work only on the iPad.
You can create Single Edition apps using any account—CC, Pro, or Enterprise—and if you cancel your DPS subscription, these Single Edition (or single-folio) apps are still available in the App Store as long as you maintain your iOS account with Apple.
For multi-folio apps, the app container is downloaded from an app store, but the folios are downloaded from the Adobe Distribution Service. If you cancel your DPS subscription, the Adobe Distribution Service basically shuts down for that app. New users can still download your apps from an app store, but the library will be empty. Existing users can still view the folios they've downloaded, but they can't get any updates or new folios.

Hi Kumud,
As per my understanding, it is not support to create a Datasource View (DSV) using stored procedures.
In a DataSource View, only views, tables or named queries can be used. We can use stored procedures in a query. No parameterized queries, parameterized stored procedures or parameterized UDFs can be used in a DSV named query. You can try to using below approach
to achieve what you are require:
To build views in our relational source and add the views to the datasource view to proceed with modelling.
