Need to create Goods receipt Bapi in CO11
Hi,
I have a requirement, In Confirmation of Production Order (CO11) if the stock quantity is less than production order quantity i need to add quantity in stock for that i am trying to add material quantity in Goods Receipt by using bapi 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE', coul any one tell where to add the code in CO11 i.e Enhancement name...... or any other way...

There is only a valid interval missing, not the whole object.
Maintenance can be done via transaction SNRO, enter your object XABBELEGNR in entry screen. (Alternatively use transaction OMJ6).
Push button 'Number Ranges' and 'Change Intervals'. Here you can define an interval.

DIAPI - Create Goods Receipt for Serial Number - on Release Only
Hi Experts,
I need your advise to create Goods Receipt by using DIAPI, where the item is managed by Serial Number - on Release Only.
The option that I'm exploring is to use ‘Automatic Serial Number Creation on Receipt’ turned on.
In standard SAP function with the above setting, we can create a Goods Receipt without entering any Serial Number, and SAP will automatically creates empty Serial Number. I'm trying to do the same thing by using DIAPI with the below code.

I was trying to simulate the issue here, but I couldn't post a good receipt PO even from the SAP itself with the setting you mentioned.
I have set the management method as 'On Release' and ticked the Automatic serial number creation flag as well under general settings of inventory. Is that the setting you mentioned or something else?

Create Goods Receipt PO from AP Reserve Invoice (bug?)
Via the user interface of sap2005 pl7 you can create "Goods Receipt PO" from an "AP Reserve Invoice".
In the "base type" field of goods receipt the value "18" is displayed. This seems not to be a "valid value" and it is as a consequence not possible to read the contents of this field with the UI-API, because <i>base type</i> is a combo box and only valid values can be returned.

Bins problem while creating goods receipt for production order.

I am facing a problem with selection of bins while creating goods receipt for production order in transaction MB31 and MBBE.
The order of filling bins is with respect to storage Unit not by document no, Please suggest something.
The scene is like that.
The bins are not filled in the proper sequence, the system checks for the empty bins and filled those later on.

Could not create Goods receipt.
Hi,
In a program, we are trying to create Goods Receipt for Purchase Orders by calling the function module MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT. But it is just giving the error message "No goods receipt possible for purchase order & &". But we are not able to find out why it is giving this message. Could anyone please help me to resolve this error message.
And for some Purchase Order items, it is giving the message "Batch Cannot Determined", please let me know why this error is coming for few items.

Priya.BZZZZ Wrong. I purchased "Clocks" by Coldplay and it is not a plus version and I am getting the -42160 error. I closed and reopened iTunes and still it doesn't work. However 5 minutes earlier I successfully created a ringtone from another song I purchased. Go figure...

Functionality
You can use this method to create a material document for a goods movement.
You can only create one material document each time you call up the method.
You can use a simulation function before posting the goods movement to check how the data is updated in the database. The standard system is configured so that the goods movement is posted immediately without simulating beforehand.
Ensure that you transfer the data in the same way as it is run in the database, for example,
Material number 18-figure with leading zeros
Batches with uppercase letters
Note that for all transactions/events listed below, the posting date is entered in the header data of the material document. In the BAPI2017_GM_HEAD_01 interface, fill the PSTNG_DATE (import structure GOODSMVT_HEADER) field.
Notes
Authorization check check
In the MM Inventory Management component, the method does not execute any authorization checks.
Note that during a posting of a goods movement, depending on the business transaction of the system, authorization objects of other applications can also be checked.
Transfer
The following information about the material document that is to be created is transferred to the method:
a structure with header data
a structure with the code for the movement
a table with the item data
a table with the serial numbers
The posting is carried out in the SAP R/3 via the MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT function module.
Confirmations
Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
Further Information
The method can only carry out your function if no error messages were generated in the Return table. This is the case if the header data and all the items were processed successfully.
Transaction control is not implemented. The calling program therefore has to execute the Commit Work itself after this method has been successfully called (in other words, if no errors were reported in the Return parameter).
Which fields have to be filled during the various transactions/ events?
The following sample scenarios demonstrate which fields have to be filled for which business transactions/events (code).
There are the following types of transactions/events:
1. GM_Code 01: Goods receipt for purchase order

You can use the Cancel method to reverse goods movements. But you may also want to cancel a goods movement without referring to a material document (see the Cancel method).
If you want to work without referring to the document, you have to fill the field BAPI_GM_ITEM_CREATE-XSTOB in the interface (import table GOODSMVT_ITEM). In this case, the system converts the movement type assigned in the interface to the reversal movement type. Alternatively, you can set the reversal movement type in the interface. In this case, the BAPI_GM_ITEM_CREATE_XSTOB field must be transferred blank.
If you want to cancel a goods movement with reference to a reservation (without using the Cancel method) you can only transfer the field BAPI_GM_ITEM_CREATE_XSTOB if it is filled. Movement types are not transferred when you post with reference to a reservation, as the movement type is contained in the reservation item.
For 7. GM_Code 07: Subsequent adjustment to a subcontract order

Look at the documentation if you want to make a goods issue or a good receipt for purchase order or production order, etc.

Hi Experts,
Can we use the message type WMMBXY and IDoc type WMMBID02 for Outbound Goods Receipts scenario also (Sending Goods Receipts information to target system).
Because WMMBID02 seems to be for Inbound going by the documentation in WE60. Can we use this for outbound as well? All the field mapping is perfect with respect to this IDoc and all the required fields exist in this IDoc.
I am struggling to find a suitable outbound process code and processing function module to trigger Idoc from MIGO Transaction once the goods receipt is created / generated.
Please advice me on how to achieve the above functionality.

PO item on hold and can't create Goods Receipt PO
We have a situation where a PO was created in our system which is 2007A SP00 PL 15. The item on the PO has since been placed on hold. Now when I pull up the po I change the item number to a valid item and click Update. So far so Good. No when I gry to copy the PO to a GR PO I get an error that the item is on hold and the document can only be saved as a draft. It is trying to create the Goods receipt PO with the original item instead of the new item.
How can I handle these? It is not possible to edit the original item on the po.

I am have setup Scheduling agreement. When i try to create the Goods receipt on MIGO by entering the agreement #, I get an error : Purchase Order not yet released.
Please help, I couldn't find similar issue reported on this forum.

DTW : How to Create goods receipt with quantity exceeding purchase order ?
Hello DTW Experts,
is there any way to deliver or receive an quantity exceeding the quantiy of the purchase order using DTW, or the only way is to create additional order (create a goods receipt is based on a purchase order).
When i try the system gives me these 2 different messages :

HafidThe best way is to draw the purchse order through then add an additional line to the Goods Receipt for the additional quantity. This will close the PO properly, but record the additional quantity
