Need to deactivate old computer so I can download apps to new computer

I have a dual boot setup iMac that the screen went bad on. I updated to a new iMac and need to download creative cloud to it. Can some tell me how to go about unauthorized the previous two downloads on my old computer on your end so I can set the new computer up.

My computer died, trying to download CS5 onto new computer. It is not accepting my serial no.

I had photoshop on my computer which is now completely dead. Plus I have photoshop on one other computer.
I am not able to get my serial no. to be accepted on my download from the following site.

here I found 2 files that I was to download. I was told by the forum that I should put these into a single file and click on the exec. file to get it started. This worked. However, I could not find the photoshop cs5 that I am familiar with. Because I wasn't able to get my serial no. to work, I signed up for the trial but it didn't have all the range of tools and the program looked unfamiliar.. So my other question is: which file was I supposed to download in order to get it to work?
in summary:
1.serial no. won't work on the download
2.my new computer doesn't have a dvd writer and Download looks unfamiliar with only a few tools.
If I purchase a DVD writer, would my disc be usable with the serial no.?

Thank you for your reply. It is helpful, but not completely so. I was super careful with the download, but not being a computer person,there was not enough information at a beginner level. After spending literally hours with various chat people, I was given a link. It was indistinct and the woman narrating it was vague in her communication. It didn't help or cast light on my issue. In the end I bought a dvd writer. Wish I had done this earlier on as in no time my disc was installed.

How do I deactivate a version on a non-working computer so I can activate on a new computer

I don't see my question so I'll repeat it. I am trying to activate Elements 9 on my current laptop so I can upgrade to the new version. My old laptop and desktop apparently are still listed as active. My old laptop is no longer active and has not been for over a year and a half so elements is not used on that computer. How do i activate this version of PSE on this laptop so I can upgrade the product? My old laptop no longer turns on so I cannot turn it on and deactivate the product. Thanks.

Same answer as in your other post. Only Activation Support can reset your activations, so you'll just have to wait it out or try again another day.

Why I can download app on a computer, but not on an iPad?

I bought my mom an iPad Mini, as a Christmas gift and I am trying to set it up for her. Well in any event I was hoping to load the mobile app for her bank on to said iPad. Problem I am finding is that when I do a search for First Interstate in the App Store on her iPad I get no results, while I find it using iTunes on my stepdad's Mac Mini. Did not see this, as a problem, because I thought I could just sync the iPad to the Mac Mini and thus load the app. Well I get message stating the I need a newer version of iTunes, but said version requires a newer version on Mac OSX. Any reason why I can download this app on the computer, but no on the iPad? I may a work around with my MacBook Pro, but I am hoping she won't need to do this.

If I'm looking at the correct app then it's optimised for the iPhone - when you do the search in the App Store apps on the iPad, on the results screen tap the 'iPad Only' button at the top left of the screen and select 'iPhone Only' instead and it should then show.

My main computer is dying - keys do not work and video is gone.
I purchased a new retina Macbook pro and want to reinstall Logic Audio Pro 9. I do not have my original discs. I can still access the program on the original Macbook to deauthorize if necessary.
But how can I reinstall wihtout the discs?

Ideally you would have backed up the library from your old comupter on a regular basis, and have restored that library to your new computer...
You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

If you no longer have the old computer this will be very helpful and If you have other content - apps, books, movies, that you want to transfer to the iTunes library - you need to transfer your purchases from the iPod to the computer as well.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.
