  • H how to find  if the psa table is included in psa deletion process chain

    Hi all
    can anybody tell me .
I have a psa table it's technical name is /BIC/B*
h how to find  the  above psa table is included in psa deletion process chain or not
    please help me

    Hi
Ope the PC in RSPC1 -->go to planning view of process chain
in left side you will find different types of process types.
under other BW process types folder -->you will find process type "Delete request from PSA"
drag this into your process chain planning view and customize it based on your requirements.
check the below article for step by step procedure

  • Do we need to create process chain explicitly nor system generates process

    Hi all,
Do we need to create process chain explicity in bpc netweaver nor the system generates it internally when we run data managment packages
    thanks
    Pooja

When you install BPC, there is a set of delivered process chains which are installed as well.  You create the data manager packages from the BPC Excel clicent based on these process chains.  You can of create custom BPC process chains in NetWeaver and create packages from those as well(for example via a How-To guide).   So to answer your question, no, you do not have to create the "standard" process chains, and they are not generated by the system either, they are delivered as part of the BPC installation.

  • How to delete Process Chains

    Hi Experts,
I created Process chain for Deliveries in D sys and transported to P sys. Here we have six source systems so  first we created 6 process chains for each  source systems. Later we decide to add all those variants in one Process chain and we deleted individual process chain and transported to P sys.
So Process chains are deleted in D system and P system but changes are not effected in P system. Process Chains are not invisible both D & P systems.
But when we run the Deliveries Process chain, deleted Process chains are also running. And getting Error due to both are scheduled at same time. Because deleted Process chains are still showing in where used list....
Can any one help me guys!!!!
    Thank you,
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
Can you please let us know what type of scheduling option you have used in the start variant.
Also please have a check if the start variant in all the chains are the same?
As per my understanding unless the start variant is triggered the chains will not get scheduled.
Also there is a bug in Bi7.0, that once the process chain transport has been completed to other environemt its starts getting executed if the start variant hold tha option as Direct scheduling - > Immediate.

    Hi,
Usually its totally in tractable to find a deleted chain :
But you can try out with the following options:
    1> T-code SLG2 .
2> T-code SLG1 - find out who was logged on to the system on that particular client at that time.
3> Try out the following tables in se16 :
RSPCLOGS           --- Application Logs for the Process Chains
RSPCLOGCHAIN    --- Cross-Table Log ID / Chain ID
RSPCCOMMANDLOG --- System Command Execution Logs (Process Chains) .
    Hope it will be expedite.

  • How to delete Process Chain Variant

    Hi  all~
I'd like to delete Process Chain Variant .
But I can't find delete menu from RSPC.
    It could be easy, but... I can't find it~ ^^;;
    Thank you in advance~ ^^;;

    Hello,
    1. Select the necessary process type from the menu.
    2. Type in the technical name of the variant and click change button.
    3. When maintenance screen is opened you can delete the variant by clicking delete button.
    or
chk the tables for your variants :
    RSPCVARIANTATTR
    RSPCVARIANT
    RSPCVARIANTT
    RSPCTRIGGER
Or you can go to maintain variant for any existing variant and choose your variant form the list, delete it.

  • How to resume deleted process chain

    HI BW gurus,
I have 1 process chain which loads data to ZFIGL_01 infocube. But by mistake the process chain got deleted from the meta chain as well as main chain.
Is there any step to recreate the process chain. And will it affect my main process chain which will run tomorrow at 3.30
    Please guide.
    Regards,
    Shailja kaul.

You can go ahead and create the process chain and add it to your main process chain also. After you have done that. Make sure that you activate and schedule it.
After scheduling the Process chain you can go ahead and check for the scheduled job by right click on the start process.
Let me know if you face any problems
    Regards,

  • Dialog from Deleting Process Chain

Hi, I am cleaning up some old Process Chains and ran into an issue of concern.  I 1st unscheduled the chain I wanted to delete just in case.  2nd I deleted it.
A message "Request Status Changed.  Trigger Follow-on event?"
Why would I get this message if I'm deleting an unscheduled Process Chain?
I responded with no, but I'm concerned...
    Thanks!

That p-chain ran/executed before. It may not be scheduled when you deleted it, but it did run before. Sometimes, process chains get stuck and will never be refreshed. You selecting 'NO" will not change the Process Chains and it will not trigger anything, so you are OK.
