Need to disable Proxies...

My internet satellite provider just did a repoint & modem reconfiguration on my system and I can't get into Safari at all (fails to load page). I called my provider and was told that i needed to disable my proxies.
When i go into system preferences.network or preferences>advanced>proxies... a small window appears "your network settings have been changed by another application"... when i press OK that window keeps coming back again and again
and I cant achieve the task and get up & running on Safari.
HELP ???!!!

I was able to find the right "security" page and checked the "Require Password to unlock each secure system preference" then created a password.
It did disable that annoying loop and i just unchecked all the boxes and voila ! my proxies were disabled and Safari is now loading my pages.
Its a miracle really... you guys are so savvy

How can I delete my voice mail messages on my Samsung Galaxy Centura cause i need to send it into warranty replacement, and they say I need to disable my phone. The recording just says its full and won't let me listen to any messages. When I call my voicemail it asks me to enter my password, but the keyboard won't come up.
Is there a way I can call from another phone and get my messages and erase them, before sending the phone off to warranty.I don't want my personal info tampered with.

User Settings in ALV - need to disable

Hi - I need to disable the user settings for ALV, I try from if_salv_wd_std_functions ~ set_dialog_settings_allowed( abap_false ) but is working fine for the screen, if I go to the column and do right click, the user settings are enable at the column level.
Is there any way I can disable the column user settings?

Hi Jason,
I simply set the WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION parameter of my component's apllication to 'X' and now i don't see the usersetting option when I right click even on the column of the ALV. You can try that.
To do so: double click on your application, go to the parameters tab, make it editable, in the parameters column get 'WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION' parameter and set its value as 'X'.

All I can say is that if that's an absolute requirement, CHM isn't your thing. That option is simply part of the CHM viewer application that Microsoft is in control of. No way to change that to my knowledge,

I am working on an Group Policy Administrative template for Wetdog.exe, and it's awesome by the way. Just want to know what function to use (listed in "about:config" url) so i can turn this feature off entirely.
I don't want my users deleting browsing history, or have any ability to view it either.
Still, i want the browser to keep at least 30 days of history.
This is EASILY accomplished in Internet Explorer via GPO, but not so much in Mozilla with wetdog.exe and it's admin templates. I am using Windows Server 2003 enterprise edition R2 on 2 domain controllers, and Windows XP Professional SP3 client workstations with Mozilla 3.6.3 and the latest version of Wetdog.exe and it's admin templates.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!

It can be annoying, but I think their motivation is good. They are trying to make things better for their customers and I think they have, even though sometimes it is annoying. I think it would be nice if they would advise us when the pages are going to be down for maintenance, In the mean time, you could have another E mail account so you can always get access to your E mail.

I have a customer who needs to disable Bluetooth on his new Macbook Pro for work in a security zone. We have renamed the IOBluetoothFamily.kext and IOBlutetoothHIDDriver.kext files (System/Library/Extensions) but the device can still be turned on in System Prefs. We need to be able to disable the ability to turn Bluetooth on most of the time, but have the ability to turn it on again when in a non-secure zone.
We need to do the same with the internal Mic...suggestions?

This error occurs on seeded page: Change job and terms assignment under selfservice manager.
Replication steps:
Manager Selfservice --> Change Job and Terms --> Select an employee and click on Actions --> Select Change Job and Term action -->Click on Start --> Click on continue --> Update information and click on Next

Looking at the error message, it seems like the Contract Type is not a valid one. What I feel is the current contract type is either end dated or disabled as on sysdate. Please check whether any such change has happened in your system.
As this is a seeded error message, it is better to raise an SR with Oracle to get this issue fixed.

In Back to Back order process once the order is progressed, the requisition will be created and Quantity will be reserved for PO to be received.
Some of our users want go and Unreserve this by the below methods.
1) Tools --> Scheduling --> Unreserve
2) Right Click on the order line --> Scheduling --> Unreserve
We need to Disable or Grayed out this Unreseve option for ATO Flagged lines.

i have an E2500 and i need to disable the ports on the router. I have a DSL line going in and thats it. I do not want it to be able to accept any wired device and have someone get on the internet. I do not want someone to just take a laptop, with a LAN able, plug it into a port, and get internet. How would i be able to disable the ports? there has to be a way

Based on some records in block B i need to disable the submit button .I would be record wise.

You can write the code in the WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE trigger of the block B. it will fire when you navigate to that record.
