This is just a way to spread the word.. Since the previous mirrors that used to retain older packages have both died, phrakture has been kind enough to set up a mirror himself.

Note that the db.tar.gz files are stripped so that the mirror cannot be used in your pacman.conf. This mirror is only for purposes of downgrading, and packages have to be manually retrieved. I've also updated the Downgrade Packages wiki page to reflect this.
I had to use the mirror just tonight, so it's extremely helpful

I recently had to dowgrade wine to the previous version. Of course I cleared my catch before realizing this! Ugh. So this mirror came in handy! Thanks!

Need to Downgrade from Tiger to Panther

I'm selling my iMac and need to downgrade it from Tiger to Panther, which originally came with the system. How do I go about doing this? In the process I also need to erase everything on my hard drive. Can I perform the downgrading from the original Panther installation cds, or erase the hard drive using those cds and reinstalling Panther from there?

Hello Kelly.
You need to backup all data first and use the Panther install package that shipped with this Mac and reformat the hard drive zeroing all data. Be sure to select HFS+ (or extended) with Journaling enabled when reformatting the hard drive. Instructions for zeroing all data included with this link.

After doing so, re-install Panther and all software included with the Panther install package that shipped with this Mac when new. When completed, do not proceed with the computer setup assistant and shut down the computer.
When the buyer starts up the computer for the first time, he/she will be greeted with the computer setup assistant and you should include the Panther install package that shipped with this Mac as part of the sale.

Best approach is to re-design the packages in SSIS 2012 directy if it is feasible. Because most of the DTS feaures are discontinued and also you will have to clean up all errors that you are going to get after migration.

i need to run a package which will send a mail as soon after it runned. I have a package. But i need to run that package for each and every 10 min in a day. For that how i can create a job to execute that package.
As a result of the job for each and every 10 min ill be receiving a mail. How to create a job to execute my package for every 10 min.

Do I need to downgrade to Mountain Lion?

I just upgraded to OS X Mavericks and was ready to upgrade my VMware Fusion 3 to VMware Fusion 6 when I noticed the warning that I needed to shut down VMware before upgrading. I am certain that my VMware was only suspended, not shut down. I am not sure how to proceed as I do not want to lose my data. Do I need to downgrade back to Mountain Lion in order to shut down VMware Fusion 3?
My iMac is 24 inch, early 2009
Processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

If you have a clone that was created with 10.8.3, then you can install that in your MBP. Otherwise the only option is to downgrade to a prior OS assuming of course that the MBP is compatible with it.

you can drop it down to CS6 but I have been trying to find out if it means I can use it with my cc subscription as it says I can download it.

When i try to do
sudo pacman -Up --debug kernel26-2.6.30.6-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz virtualbox-ose-3.0.6-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz virtualbox-modules-3.0.6-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz ndiswrapper-utils-1.55-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz ndiswrapper-1.55-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz
in /var/cache/pacman/pkg (all other packages are dependencies)
I get
debug: returning error 26 from alpm_trans_commit : transaction commit attempt when database is not locked
error: failed to commit transaction (transaction commit attempt when database is not locked)
Anybody has any idea why i get this error or how can i downgrade kernel package?

Need to downgrade from OS 10.5 to OS 10.2 on Old 17" Powerbook

I need to downgrade my original 17" Powerbook from OS 10.5 so that I can operate OS 9. I have the original 2 install disks, which are 10.2, but I can't start up from the disk. My CD/DVD drive is bashed in so I have to use an external CD/DVD drive, but I successfully upgraded using this system. Every time I try to start up using an install disk below 10.5 using the "c" key method (I have tried the Powerbook 10.2 install CD, a 10.4 install CD from a Mac mini, and the 10.4 install CD from my current Macbook Pro), I get a grey screen with the apple, a blue screen, and then it boots up like normal to show my 10.5 desktop. I need suggestions on how to downgrade this computer because I really need to run several OS 9 programs for my research. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You cannot simply install a lower version over an newer version. To install an older version you need to first erase the hard drive. See the following:
1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit Disk Utility and return to the installer. Proceed with the OS X installation.
