Need to download driver for Laserjet 4v. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain it?

I had to have my desktop reloaded & Windows XP no longer has the "plug & play" driver for the HP Laserjet 4v. HP apparently no longer has the driver which I find unusual. I need to know where I can download a copy or have someone attach it to an email ([email protected]). If anyone can help, I would be grateful.

I see that you're having an issue installing the software. Have you tried installing the software from a different browser?
Does this happen on chrome and IE?

The software is unfortunately no longer available on our webpage but i could send it to you. What operating system do you have?
Please note that if you bought this MD300 from an operator our software will probably not work as the MD300 may have a different firmware. If you bought it from an operator you need to contact the operator for software/drivers.

I need driver for laserjet 4000n windows 7 64 bit

When I try to install my Laserjet 4000N printer on my HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC running windows 7 64 bit I am prompted to select windows update. The response is always "Windows was unabl;e to get a list of devices from Windows update. Try again later"
When I go to the HP site and try to download the driver i get a message "You do not need to download drivers for this product. Print drivers for your product are available within the Windows 7 operating system. Use Devices and Printers, formerly known as the Add Printer Wizard, to obtain the Windows 7 update. For more information, go to Install the Printer Driver through the Windows 7 Operating System"
A perfect Catch 22. What do I do now?

Anyone experienced this? Also weird, because I thought I had 7.0...Apple store says it downloaded Mountain Lion (the "cat" after Snow Leopard, right?) So why does it still say 10.6.8?
Regardless, I need to use this printer as I just moved and need to print out important stuff for my business. But can't download the driver. Why can't it read it?
And I don't have the $30 to pay for HP tech support.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are trying to install your HP Laserjet P1006 to your computer running Windows 8.1, but everytime you attempt to extract the files it crashes. After some research I see there were no updated drivers made available for the Windows 8.1 OS, you must install the Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver, to get the basic printing functions. Please click on the link below to download and install:
HP LaserJet P1000-P1500 Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver
Once downloaded, please follow the on screen instructions. I hope this helps!

Hi: Unfortunately, the support pages are not working for most of the newer HP PC's. It has been that way for about a day now. Since I am not employed by nor do I represent HP, I am not sure when they will have the pages working again. Check back again some other time. I know the problem has been reported, but I don't know how long this is going to take to fix. With the Independence Day holiday weekend in the USA, I would not expect this to be taken care of immediately.

Numbers is a joke compared to Excel. If I were you I would find a class/tutorial first, find out what they use (and it won't be Numbers) and see if you need the Mac or Windows version of Excel. Note that Excel is not sold as a seperate product from the Microsoft Office suites.

Downloaded mavericks for one mac can i use the same download to install on another mac

I have downloaded for 12 hours initial installation on one mac for mavericks, and all installed successfully. Rather than download again for another mac, can I use the same download and copy on to the other mac..and if yes, where will I find it?

All you need to do is go to System Preferences > App Store and uncheck the automatic install of updates box, then download the Mavericks installer, and copy to a flash drive. You will need a flash drive of 8 G B or more since the installer is around 5.3 GB. The installer will be in Finder > Applications. You can then copy that flash drive installer to the Applications folders in all the Macs you have that are capable of running Mavericks, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842.
When the installer runs, the last step in the installtion is for the installer to erase itself. So makng a copy before the installer runs is essential if you want to avoid redownloading.
Installing from the same installer does not cause problems for Macs on the same network.

I need an audio driver for Yoga 13 with Windows 7 Pro 64 bits English

I downgraded my Yoga 13 from Windows 8 to Windows 7 pro 64 bits, and ever since then I have a problem with my microphone.
Skype finds the microphone and can use it, calls are all working fine, but any other program using audio does not work with the microphone.
After troubleshooting, I concluded that I need to update the driver but I cannot find it. Anything that I find on the Lenovo support pages does not install (event the one found on this page: http://support.lenovo.com/fr/fr/downloads/ds002860).
After looking at this post: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Idea-Windows-based-Tablets-and/I-need-an-Internet-driver-for-Yoga-13-wit.... I figured I would to be provided with the link by someone from Lenovo support.
Here's the hardware ID of the soundcard: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_506E&SUBSYS_17AAA001&REV_1000. In Windows it is recognized as High Definition Audio (in the device manager).

From looking at the Yoga 13 Hardware Maintenance Manual and downloading the driver package from the Realtek Wireless LAN & Bluetooth Driver for Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit) - IdeaPad Yoga 13 page and extracting (but not running) it to look at the contents, it appears the Yoga 13 uses a wireless LAN card based on Realtek RTL8732 chipset.
I would suggest that you try downloading the drivers, expanding, but not installing them on to a USB flash drive or SD card, then plugging that into the Yoga 13, running the Device Manager (filename: DEVMGMT.MSC), clicking on the appropriate entry for the wireless network adapter, selecting update, and then choosing the Browse my computer for driver software option, pointing that to the location of the unpacked drivers. Perhaps Device Manager will find the correct drivers to install that way.

To get the drivers for that printer, you just have to add the printer to OS X, following these steps > http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11145 OS X will download automatically the driver for your printer after adding it to the printer list. Or you can download the Canon drivers from the Apple website > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899
You don't need to get drivers from the Canon website. The Apple drivers are sufficient to make the printer work, although you may find software in the Canon website that you may want
