I am wanting to download elements 12, but it is only allowing me to download 13.

    Have you got an external CD Drive that can be connected via your spare USB port?  If not then you could try this link:

    I dont want to buy a whole new version .....I have not used all my licenses...I just want to put it on my new computer without have to spend 100.00 on a cd drive from apple.

When I go to Editor to edit and/or print I  get a message to register product and/or download trial. Have I purchased the wrong product or have I missed something ?

    I have the Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 software but need to download from the internet since my new laptop does not have a CD driver.  The older versions downloads available on the website stop at Elements 7, I could not find the download for Elements 5.0.  I have the ID/Key for the software.

    Sorry, but a download won't help you. Back then downloads and disc versions had mutually incompatible serial numbers. Your best bet is to find someone who can copy the files from the disc to a thumb drive or something like that, then use that to reinstall.

    and activate with your serial number.
    if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies.

    cancel the akamai download and download files 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 directly.  put both in the same directory and double click the exe to start installation.

    Which operating system are you using?  The file sizes are different depending on your OS.  In general though if you got 10 to 15 gigabytes of disk space you should be more than fine.  If you are under 10 gigabytes it might be a good idea to do some spring cleaning on your computer to start freeing up some space.
