and activate with your serial number.
if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies.

I have the serial number and solution disk and everything it came with BUT the installation disc. How do I download it on my new laptop without installation disk?

It would help if you would tell us which version. If it's PSE 12, just install the trial and enter your serial number into that.

I have Photoshop Elments 6 but cant find the cd. I have the serial number I just need to download Photoshop elements 6. How do I do that?

There is no download available for version 6. Version 7 is the oldest version available thru download.

I guess the first thing you now need to do is to get the latest drivers for your printer because as you say you uninstalled it from your machine and now reinstalled it again. I don't know why you thought printer should have been uninstall;led but anyway, please reinstall the driver and then see if it is recognized by your operating system and try scanning something as a test from outside the PSE13 before going back to PSE13 and trying to scan your real image.
Please post back so that Barbara or R_Kelly can help you as I don't use Apple Mac.

Hi, Yes you are correct in iPhoto Prefernces, Advanced tab editing I used to have iPhoto and "Use external editor.". It changed to iPhoto and iPhoto Library. I answered my own question: There's a difference between "download' and "install." Hunt for "install" (1.5 hrs in my case) and line up your passwords, Adobe ID, etc, then install. Took 15 min. The right choice shows up in Applications. Now it's on to figuring out why photo selected for edit in iPhoto does not show up on screen in Elements.

You are doing 2 things wrong:
1. you are trying to run EXE file(installer) on MAC
2. You are trying to run a very old application on latest configuration which is not compatible and may not fulfill the appropriate requirement.

My new laptop does not have cd capability for me to insert install disc, how do I install acrobat 7 with just a serial number ?

The "activation server" at Adobe, which let you install and use it, was turned off years ago. You cannot use your CD in any case. (Though in fact external plug-in CDs are cheap, easy to use, and pretty much essential).
There is a special download of Acrobat 7 for licensed users (with new serial)... but it won't work on current systems. Unless you have Windows Vista, 32-bit, or older you probably need to buy Acrobat again. (No upgrades any more, sad to say).

You may be able to default to DOC, but have not tried same.
Since Open Office is 99% same as Word, I use it, or Word, either one. Open Office is a bit less buggy than Word 11'

Complete installation of printer - laptop does not have a CD rom

In order to complete the installation process the instructions say to insert the CD that came with the printer. My laptop does not have a CD rom so I am unable to insert the CD. How can I complete the installation?
