What technical components are needed for integration of SAP BI and BO?

Hi,
you need to setup a BOBJ server (eg. BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 or BO Edge 3.1) and then install the BusinessObjects integration Kit for SAP on the same machine your BOBJ server runs.
In order to build reports you can either use Crystal Reports (eg Install Crystal Report Designer 2008 V1 if you have an XI 3.1 server installed), WebIntelligence (Install the Business Objects XI 3.1 Client Tools in order to be able to build universes), BusinessObjects Voyager or XCelsius. Please note that you have to always install the BOBJ integration Kit for SAP (should be the same version as your server and client installation) on your clients AFTER you installed one or more of the above client tools.

Need Consignment report in SAP

Hello all MM Gurus,
Is there any report in SAP that shows the total consignment stock arrival and consignment stock consumption in a given plant. The report should show the consignment stock arrival/consumption, value of the stock, material number, etcetc.
Please let me know. I have suggested my user that we can use MB51 or MB54. But I am afraid, my user would get confused if he/she uses these transactions. Hence, I need a report in SAP that is particularly made for consignment stock.

There are several reports which allow entering profitcenter groups or profitcenters.

1 - So, Shuld I save it SAP package?
2- I mean, Wht even we did in CMOD, Shuld we need to save in SAP packages, NOT in Z_MY_PACKAGES??

If you modify the sap standards then you should not give custom(Z) type of package.
Simple example - I have done many things to sales order user exit.
MV45AFZZ Include is the sap standard include,if you modify this include,system will not prompt Package,it asks directly Transport request.
Your case i do not know since i did not your user enhancement.

You can't — at least not if you want to run it in the Mac OS. If you have Winidows installed on your Mac, then of course you can run the Windows version of IE, but the Mac version hasn't been updated since June 2003 and is unsupported by Microsoft. It's very insecure, it can't handle a lot of current web sites, and it may not run at all in recent OS X versions. It was lousy in 2003, and it can't have gotten any better while the world was passing it by.
If there's a web site you want to access that says it requires IE, complain to its webmaster about the benighted design of the site. No responsible web designer codes sites for just one browser any more. Every web site should be tested and should work well with a large variety of browsers — IE, Firefox and Chrome at a bare minimum — and every site owner should insist that their designer(s) adhere to that "best practice."

CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows. The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech.com's Virtualization Benchmarking for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or Snow Leopard. And if it is important to know about them, then which other tables need to be known and for what reasons?

We can't say yes or No, so based on your requirement you need to sit with Functional COnsultanst and the understand the Business Requirements and develop the OBjetcs.

If you want to know the data flow and reconsilization then you need to know it else not required

Yes, one main difference is There is no setup table concept for FI DataSource*
Note: If you want to become a good BW consulatnt you must know about Tables for normal BW consultant it is not required.

Use only Internet Explorer for SAP portal

Hello,
We have a requirement to use only internet explorer for SAP portal.
When we try to use portal in any other browser, it should display a message saying "This browser is not supported for the application" (or any other message). But purpose is, the portal application should be usable in only one browser i.e Internet Explorer.
If any one have any idea on this, how this can be implemented, then please share the same. I tried to find if there are any standard SAP portal parameters, but haven't come across any.

1) Try installing using MSI file instead of setup.exe.
