Need to find a MIIX-2 8 Touch screen digitizer 90400249

Hello All,
Does anybody know where I can get a touch screen for a 2 month old Lenovo MiiX2-8 that has a cracked corner and will not work properly becuase of the crack. Lenovo and anybody else I contacted are on backorder and no one seems to know when and if they will be available? This unit is brand new but not covered for warranty because of damage.

I would suggest because I am an asus fan myself, I have always used them as my go to manufacturer with my motherboards on any custom built PC i put together. They are a very reputable name, and are very well made. It should meet all your needs, has 750 GBs of hard drive space (gives you enough room for all the HD pictures and videos!) as well as plenty of ram and an i7 Processor. The ONLY thing i see that might be slightly better is a couple of the sony vaios have solid state drives, and that is a nice plus. Faster boot times, faster read/write speeds. But as you said you didn't want something to make you spend more if it was not a big difference and while it would be a difference, I don't see it being THAT big of a difference for yourself. If you can find a local best buy that has that Asus, I would suggest going in to check it out if its on display. Get a feel for it and see if you like the keyboard. That is a big MUST on buying a laptop, making sure you like the keyboard!

I own a nokia lumia 625 oct 2014 manufactured phone.
Yesterday accidentally it falled and the "FRONT GLASS LENS" broke.
Currently the the phone is working and the touch screen is also working.i can even able to play games with that.
But the Front glass screen has got cracks it it.
Do i need to replace only the "FRONT GLASS LENS" or "TOUCH SCREEN DIGITIZER" also ?

So yep.. You need to go with buying the glass which includes the digitizer. It comes together and cannot be separated. That is the only componet you need to buy. There is no need to replace the display/LCD as that will just extend the overall costs uselessly. Your display is pretty fine and as you say, original.
Buy the digitizer along with the plastic frame as it is a very tough task toi reuse the original frame.
Summing it up, I would recommend going the official Nokia Care way.If there's no such service available to you, buy a digitizer from an authentic source (ensure it is high quality) and replace it yourself or pay a local technician to do that.

Removing the SIM has no affect on the power of the phone. It is just the part that facilitates connecting to your carrier. Try holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo on the screen and then release the buttons. The phone should reboot. You may need to hold the buttons together for 15-30 seconds.

We have a requirement in one of our project to create touch screen interfaces and I am intending to user Adobe Flex for the development and run them in Adobe Air because, definitely it saves development time and great look and feel.
However, I need advice on how to connect the application to a touch screen events like we do on Keyborad and mouse events like, click() or onFocus etc.

Bar Code Scanners are no different than keyboards in my experience. It just sends the text to whatever application is open. Integrating it with Flex requires no effort. You just have to be sure that Flex is the current application and the field you want to put the data in is given focus.
In a point of sale application with very specific use case and limited interface, it is easy to force the app to give focus to the input field that needs to accept your input.
Credit card swipers work the same way.
I don't know about a weighing scale, but I bet it is very similar. If not, you may want to use Java for scale integration and then use Merapi to integrate with the Java applet.

Ipod touch screen digitizer dead spots

I bought an iPod Touch duty free and have found that on keyboard keys R, D, F, X & C don't work. As these are all in one region it would seem part of screen digitizer is dead. I have upgraded firmware to latest and tried a full restore.
Has anyone else had similar problems or suggested fixes or am I going to have to send to Apple for Service.

Unfortunately there are no official Apple Stores in Indonesia the Touch hasn't even got here yet. I was kind of hoping there some known bug and maybe fix on way.
If its all hardware I am going to have to send back to Apple for Service. Which will be slow from here.

When the main video began to play I could not find it and therefore could not download it. Has anyone else run into this situation?

Lenovo A7 (A3500) / A8 (A5500) touch screen digitizer issues

Having bought an A8-50F (A5500) recently I was immediately confronted with what -as found at a later stage- appears to be a widespread issue on Lenovo's A3500 / A5500 tablets. The issue is quite easy to replicate and is clearly evident when scrolling through settings or a web browser page, or in reading any documet / pdf with the finger in direct and constant touch to the screen. It results in a scrolling flow that is jumpy and non-continuous as shown in the video below.

What strikes me most is that I couldn't find any mention of the issue anywhere on the internet, seeing that it has obvious knock-on effects even on sketching a simple vertical line as shown above. So this happens only on the vertical axis, on almost all of the Lenovo A3500/A5500 devices I could get my hands on, even on the display / demo units found on major retail stores in the vicinity of where I live (South Europe). And I say almost all of the devices, since apparently A10s (A7500s) 10'' models DON'T exhibit said behavior, which is ALSO the case with most other branded tablets I managed to test, either these being LG, or Asus etc...
So my question would be if this is a known-issue for these devices, or something's gone horribly wrong with the digitizer panel of specific batches of these and need to be replaced by the manufacturer...In either case if you happen to be the owner of one such tablet, please take some time to perform these tests and report back.

Touch screen (digitizer) not recognizing stylus taps after one month

I am sorry if this not the right place to post my concern.
My palm touch pad does not pick up the signal and is random with it's sytlis....I have only had it for less than a month. Where do I send it for repairs? I need a number that does not put you on hold for lengthy time periods. I call yesterday and was on hold forever and finally had to hang up. I have now bought a hard calendar so I don't miss appointments. THanks please advise as to how to resolve this problem. Melody

Sorry to hear you have not been able to reach a Palm agent for your repair. Unfortunately, you do need to initiate a warranty repair by phone. This page lists all contact numbers for Palm Customer Care:

The agent will probably walk you through a series of diagnostic steps including a Hard Reset. They will also ask if you have a screen protector installed.
There is a lengthy thread at the top of the Hardware board about resolving digitizer issues...you might want to run through that before determining that the screen is defective. Sometimes, a corrupt file or third-party application can cause the digitizer to behave erratically.

Touch screen calibration on Stream 8 5801TW

I just udate the drivers of tablet, and after update touchscreen calibation is totally out, I even tried windows calibation tool, which asked me to touch cross signs around the display, but still it does not help. At the moment Im using a usb mouse, to operate the tablet. Need help on fixing the calibation of touch screen.
