Need to find/re-install Classic control panel, and diagnose error code -1

A while back, I wiped OS9/Classic completely off when HD space was running short. Now I need to install some old software that requires Classic. The computer's Software Restore disks claim to have reinstalled Classic, and all the right folders are there in all the right places, but --
No Classic control panel anywhere on the drive, and Classic applications refuse to launch ("The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occured (error code -1)"). Restarts, and rebuilding permissions, don't help.
I've used Pacifist to comb my Jag install, Panther install, and Software Restore disks for the control panel. No luck. Where do I dig it up? And will installing it resolve the error code -1?

err, I mean "preference pane". Sorry, my head's been back in OS9-land all day...

App store/ failed to install /enable windows firewall/ and retry/ error code 0x80246010

I'm growing really frustrated with this problem. I can't instal any app from windows store. no app updates either. I get (after some time) installation failed error code: 0x80246007. App not installed Windows
Firewall Service is not running. Enable and retry. (paraphrase). But I followed links to repair which took me to msconfig services and went through the steps recommended but firewall resists starting and states it , I may not have this correct , is not
configured or doesn't have permissions ? to run on the specified network. No wait, it says network configured on and the one I am trying to run it on are different. So I try to change them to match and it won't accept new network stating wrong parameters ???
Does any of this sound like it goes together? here are some error codes encountered along the way:0x80246010 , 0x80073d0a, 0x800704022, 0x80070490(2014-12-24-T-11_06-38A) and 0x80246007. I was able to instal a recent update for defender but suspect other
updates are not being run as there have not been any. I manually upgraded and downloader office 365 from my school source without any problems so far. But, no store access at all. Please help me resolve this. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply but I am more confused then ever. I only have a PC for now so a friend set up my icloud account on his airbook (?). Is it because I am using a PC that I can't use icloud to move thing. The TV shows take up a lot of computer space and my showed me on his Mac by right clicking the menu there was an option to "send to icloud" or some close to that.

If you're currently displaying your Control Panels in Category View, you'd need to change your view to "Large icons" or "Small icons" to see the QuickTime control panel.
Alternatively, launch the QuickTime Player and go "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" to bring up the control panel.

Itunes 10.6 and 10.7 crash after installing icloud control panel

I recently upgraded itunes 10.6 to 10.7 on my windows home server 2011 computer and also installed iCloud control panel 2.0. After the upgrade itunes crashes within a few seconds of starting. I can see the status bar saying that itunes is accessing the store and then the itunes window goes away. I tried removing the icloud control panel, but itunes still crashes. I completely removed itunes and all related components and then reinstalled 10.6. At this point itunes works again so I tried reinstalling the iCloud control panel and not upgrading itunes, but itunes again crashes. So, it seems that regardless of the itunes version I can't run itunes and iCloud on windows home server 2011. Any ideas on a solution?

An update to my earlier post. I just upgraded to itunes 10.7 and icontrol panel 2.0 again, but before upgrading I turned off automatic downloads in the store preferences. I was able to launch itunes and even click on the store without itunes crashing until I launched the icloud control panel and logged in. Now if I click on the store in itunes it crashes. I tried logging out of icloud, but it still crashes, but only when i click on the itunes store. The error I see in windows event viewer is below. I've seen this error referenced in other posts, but have not found a solution yet. At least itunes is partially functional now.

I cannot install the ICloud Control Panel on our Laptop.
Tried several times to install but get an error code at the
very end of the install. Not sure why.
Installed perfectly on another PC.

If you're running Java 7, then in System Preferences > Java > Java Control Panel in the Security tab there is a check box to enable Java in your browser. To check for update go to the Update tab.

I've installed iCloud Control Panel off every browser. Every time it shows up in the Control Panel with no logo in the icon. When I click it says "application not found". When I go to Control Panel/Networking and Sharing I get the same results.
I have no iCloud icon in iTunes either. Just iCloud Match. However before I found out my iCloud Control Panel wasn't working I seemed to be able to upload my music from my PC (windows 7 64) iTunes. I know because they showed up on my iPad. But then I have another problem. I can't set the ipad to download them all at once. I'm doing it one at a time and then it freezes. One at a time for over 3000 songs *****!
So how does this work? I have been searching the internet and forum for hours with no results. I see many ppl having the same problem but in the forum THERE ARE NO REPLIES ON ANY POSTS. Not even ones posted in 2011. Does any administrator read this stuff?

This is an Apple user to user forum, so the answer to your question is no, however as you are having a Windows issue it might help ypu to post in the Microsoft forums in addition to posting here.
Beyond that do the usual Windows things (start in safe mode etc) to troubleshoot.

On two different XP PC's I receive the following message when i attempt to install iCloud Control panel "iCloud requires that your computer is running Windows Vista or newer". XP is up to date.
