Need to get catalog item from MDM of a specific supplier

Hi gurus,
i need to get the list of catalog item from MDM of a specific supplier,
user will give the supplier and i need to bring the list of the catalog item
that belong to the supplier that the user gave me,
through abap.
is anyone can help me with wich class+method do i need to use if i have the supplier name or id?

Hi Dana.
You can achieve this through MDM Webservices.
1. Create a MDM Webservice
2. Configure the tables and list the list of fields which you want to retrieve
3. You can specify the search criteria as well(supplier=XXX)
4. Generate it and save it
You can deploy the application in your landscape and call this webservice from your custom application to create shopping cart.

Getting multiple items from a Jlist

hi i am trying to get selected items from a Jlist to print out
but can only seem to get one item at a time using getSelectedValue()
when i try and use getSelectedValues().toString(); i get

The getSelectedValues(...) method returns and ARRAY of OBJECTS. You have to loop through the array to get each object separately:

You don't have it unless you have downloaded and installed it either manually or via Software Update.
The update should be installed to protect you from possible malware exploits via Java. However, if you don't use Java programming or run Java applets in your browser, then you do not need the update. But you must turn Java off in your browser's security preferences (it will be a checkbox.)

New CPU, Mac SnowLeapard, Previous HD installed as external. need to get old bookmarks from old HD to new Firfox

I just upgraded to a new mac running 10.6.4. I took the HD from the older Mac and put it in the new mac in an empty bay to have access to all the previous data and programs and use as a back up HD.
OK I need to get my bookmarks from the version of Firefox from the old HD so I can put them into the new version of Firefox on the new machine. Any ideas. I have the system library and user library still on the old HD.

Old computer died, need to get my music from my ipod touch to my pc, how can I do this without losing music for free!?

I have an Ipod touch with about 900 songs on it, i used to connect with my old pc until it recently broke. i have just bought a new pc and was wondering how i could get my music from my ipod to my new computer! the only thing i need is music , no videos or anything. does anyone know how i can do this for free? not very good with computers by the way!

Need to pull ranked item from query into new query

I have a parent query in which I assign a rank to characteristic values based on a key figure, in dollars. I need to pull the top 4 items from that parent query into 4 seperate child queries (i.e. child query 1 is written based on ranked item 1, child query 2 is written based on ranked item 2, etc.) Does anyone have any ideas how to achieve this?

Here's what I ended up doing to resolve this...
Created a Parent_Query that pulled all the results. No conditions or replacement path variable.
Created a Parent_Query_Top_4 with a condition "Top N: 4". Since I am using a Structure in my rows, I had to create a formula in the structure called "All" to get the condition to work. So in the condition, I selected my Key Figure "Cost", the Structure element "All" " (if you are using a structure in a condition, you're forced to select one of the structure elements), the condition "Top N" and the number "4". I also had to go to the Characteristic Assignment tab and select "Individual Chars and Char Combinations" with my "Code Group" characteristic selected, since I am only interested in seeing the Top 4 Code Groups and didn't want my query to consider any of the other characteristics.
Created Child_Query_Top_2. Restricted my Code Group characteristic to a replacement path by query variable. I replaced it with the results from Parent_Query. I then placed a condition on this query for Key Figure "Cost", the Structure element "All" the condition "Top N" and the number "2"; "Individual Chars and Char Combinations" with my "Code Group" characteristic selected.

Very roundabout, but fulfills the request for these very dynamic reports. And once one is done, all you really need to do is copy that one and keep changing the conditions and/or replacement path variables. Now I'll stick it all in a workbook and VOILA!

Getting selected item from combobox itemrenderer and storing in object

Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me in this regard. Its very urgent.
I have a combo box itemrenderer in datagrid column. I want to get the user selected item from the dropdown of the row(s) (User may select values from combo box from multiple rows of datagrid) and corressponding values of all other columns of the rows and store it in an object . Then pass this object to database to update only those rows that user has changed.
I am able to get the selected item from combo box using "event.currentTarget.selectedItem" and corressponding values of all other columns of the rows using "valueSelect.ID", etc where valueSelect is object which contains data for datagrid. But am stuck up with, how to store the selected item value of the combobox and corressponding values of all other columns of the rows into an Object ?.
Can anybody help me with sample to store selected item from combobox and its corressponding values of all other columns into an object which i can send to db...?
Kindly help me in this regard.

Are you using a collection of VO or DTO as the dataprovider of the combobox component?
If so, have you created some attribute there to control the user's selection in the combobox?
For instance:
private var selected:Boolean = false;
If your solution fits this approach, you may create a new collection that contains just the objects that were selected by the user, it means you can loop through the datagrid's dataprovider and only insert in this new collection those objects that have the attribute "selected" set to true.
For instance:
private function getSelectedRecords(datagridDataProvider:ArrayCollection):ArrayCollection
    var newCollection:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection();
    for each (var item:Object in datagridDataProvider)
        if (item.selected)
            newCollection.addItem(item)
    return newCollection;
Afterwards, you may serialize this new collection with your back-end.

Friend deleted app (my disk for iphone) and need to get back data from my icloud backup...need help!

     I had this app called my disk (app store name is: Lock photo+video safe - secure folder manager to protect private photos vault & hide secret picture file privacy) This app lets me have two passwords with different pictures and videos in each of them. It's a really great app.
     My friend deleted the app by "accident" and I need to get the app back with all my data. I have a backup of the app on my icloud backup that was taken place two months ago (around same time the app was deleted). It shows up in the cloud saying I have 4gb worth of that app in the cloud. I restore my phone back to that backup but the app data is not there. I wasn't sure if I had to wait till my iphone backs up everything (like music and pictures for example) for it to show up but as soon as the app downloaded I opened it hapilly knowing I have my data back but unfortunately it was not there. In the app itself, there's an option to backup from the cloud but it just brings up this window that says you can back up from the cloud (doesn't have a place to hit that says restore or anything).
     Is there something I am doing wrong? Can anyone help me? I really need that app data back because I have pictures of memories with friends and family inside that app that I do not have anywhere else. Once i get the back back ill be sure to save the photos onto my computer just incase anything goes wrong again.

It seems that in a case like this you'd need to reset the device to factory settings and then restore from iCloud backup.
Sadly the reset to factory settings could cause more trouble than its worth.
Apple's iCloud backup, could, but does not let the user restore one app or its data.
You'll also find that even though that App's data is in the cloud, you as its owner do not have access to it.

I need to get the music from my iTunes library to my iPhone 4, but it won't recognize my phone in iTunes...

I did so, but after downloading this software, I was told that it needed my MacBook Pro to have Version 10.6.8 or higher to run. My MacBook has Version 10.6.4, and I have no idea what updating it would require. I'd prefer to get my music from iTunes library to my phone without updating. If anyone knows how, please help.

You'll have to update your OS on your Macbook.

Help needed to get unique record from an internal table

Hi Everybody,
I have to get unique record from an internal table. i know we can use read statement with key condition .
But the problem is i have to use some relational operators like GE or LE.
eg
read table itab into wa with key width GE itab-widthfrom
                                                   width LE itab-widthto
                                                   machno eq itab-machno.
Its giving me error when I use the operators GE , LE.( I think since it can't find a unique record with those relational
operators in the with key statement)
Is there any other way to get unique record from internal table without using the loop?

Using the read statement you will need some kind of loop. For example.
DO.
READ TABLE......
WITH KEY ......
                    READ = SPACE
IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0
TABLE-READ = 'X'.
MODIFY TABLE
ADD 1 TO W_FOUND.
ELSE
EXIT.
ENDIF
ENDDO.
IF W_FOUND EQ 1.
...record is unique.
ENDIF.

Need to pull ranked item from one query into new query

I have a parent query in which I assign a rank to characteristic values based on a key figure, in dollars. I need to pull the top 4 items from that parent query into 4 seperate child queries (i.e. child query 1 is written based on ranked item 1, child query 2 is written based on ranked item 2, etc.) Does anyone have any ideas how to achieve this?
