Need to get EMAIL_ADDRESS attribute from SECURITY_CONFIGURATION

I am currently editing an existing script that retrieves the list of administrators of a workspace in Oracle Content Services by using the SECURITY_CONFIGURATION and GRANTS attributes. I am trying to find the easiest way that I can retrieve the email address of the accounts that it retrieves as adminsitrators. Here are the attribute requests that are in the code currently:
Item[] Grants = (Item[]) FdkUtils.getAttribute(folderContents[ind], Attributes.SECURITY_CONFIGURATION + FdkConstants.SEPARATOR + Attributes.GRANTS);
Item grantee = (Item)FdkUtils.getAttribute(Grants[gind], Attributes.GRANTEE);
Item[] role = (Item[])FdkUtils.getAttribute(Grants[gind], Attributes.ROLES);
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try something like the following (using Content Services utility classes in place of the Content DB classes)
Special note..
Notice how we are requesting in the SECURITY_CONFIGURATION_GRANTS_ATTRIBUTES request array for the GRANTEE, and for the GRANTEE, associated attributes from USER_ATTRIBUTES (which is EMAIL_ADDRESS).

Need help getting a value from an XML column

Hi,
I need to get a value from an XML column in a table (the column is called TEST_XML). I have tried using the Select TEST_XML.value function but it always returns nulls. Could you please take a look at the following xml sample stored in the TEST_XML column

Getting User Attributes from an Active Directory LDAP

Hello all.
I want to extract attributes assigned to a user in the Active Directory LDAP and make them available through the getPropertyValue property in Javascript. I know that a user's System Attributes can be accessed with getPropertyValue but I have not found a way to get specific attributes from the LDAP and make them available as specific attributes in xMII. System attributes like "EmailAddress1" seem to transfer from the LDAP but others don't. Anyone have any ideas?

If you're using 11.5 or 12 actually they should all map into the system as session properties. You can use the following URL to verify your session properties:
http://<xMIIServer>/Lighthammer/PropertyAccessServlet?Mode=List
If you are not seeing the attributes you expect then your Attribute Query for User or Role is incorrect for your LDAP system and you need to change the LDAP configuration queries.

You don't have it unless you have downloaded and installed it either manually or via Software Update.
The update should be installed to protect you from possible malware exploits via Java. However, if you don't use Java programming or run Java applets in your browser, then you do not need the update. But you must turn Java off in your browser's security preferences (it will be a checkbox.)

New CPU, Mac SnowLeapard, Previous HD installed as external. need to get old bookmarks from old HD to new Firfox

I just upgraded to a new mac running 10.6.4. I took the HD from the older Mac and put it in the new mac in an empty bay to have access to all the previous data and programs and use as a back up HD.
OK I need to get my bookmarks from the version of Firefox from the old HD so I can put them into the new version of Firefox on the new machine. Any ideas. I have the system library and user library still on the old HD.

Not able to get the attributes from HttpSession

hi all,
i'm using session.setAttribute() in a jsp to put an attribute in the session and when i try to get that attribute in another jsp it's not giving the value. But the getAttribute() mehods is giving the value in the same jsp page where i used the setAttribute() method.

If you are using IE go to tool and then internet options and look under privacy for you cookie status(this will vary version).
To use URL rewriting all you have to do is one of two things:
www.url.com?parm=value&param2=value
or if the value is a result of a java expression or is a java variable you can do
www.url.com?parm=<%=variable%>&param2=<%=(variable +1)%>
You get the values from url rewriting by using request.getParameter or getParameterValues(used when multiple values are getting passed).
When data is retrieved using getParameter it always comes back as a string and you should trim them as well.

Friend deleted app (my disk for iphone) and need to get back data from my icloud backup...need help!

     I had this app called my disk (app store name is: Lock photo+video safe - secure folder manager to protect private photos vault & hide secret picture file privacy) This app lets me have two passwords with different pictures and videos in each of them. It's a really great app.
     My friend deleted the app by "accident" and I need to get the app back with all my data. I have a backup of the app on my icloud backup that was taken place two months ago (around same time the app was deleted). It shows up in the cloud saying I have 4gb worth of that app in the cloud. I restore my phone back to that backup but the app data is not there. I wasn't sure if I had to wait till my iphone backs up everything (like music and pictures for example) for it to show up but as soon as the app downloaded I opened it hapilly knowing I have my data back but unfortunately it was not there. In the app itself, there's an option to backup from the cloud but it just brings up this window that says you can back up from the cloud (doesn't have a place to hit that says restore or anything).
     Is there something I am doing wrong? Can anyone help me? I really need that app data back because I have pictures of memories with friends and family inside that app that I do not have anywhere else. Once i get the back back ill be sure to save the photos onto my computer just incase anything goes wrong again.

It seems that in a case like this you'd need to reset the device to factory settings and then restore from iCloud backup.
Sadly the reset to factory settings could cause more trouble than its worth.
Apple's iCloud backup, could, but does not let the user restore one app or its data.
You'll also find that even though that App's data is in the cloud, you as its owner do not have access to it.

Old computer died, need to get my music from my ipod touch to my pc, how can I do this without losing music for free!?

I have an Ipod touch with about 900 songs on it, i used to connect with my old pc until it recently broke. i have just bought a new pc and was wondering how i could get my music from my ipod to my new computer! the only thing i need is music , no videos or anything. does anyone know how i can do this for free? not very good with computers by the way!

You can achieve this through MDM Webservices.
1. Create a MDM Webservice
2. Configure the tables and list the list of fields which you want to retrieve
3. You can specify the search criteria as well(supplier=XXX)
4. Generate it and save it
You can deploy the application in your landscape and call this webservice from your custom application to create shopping cart.

Help needed to get unique record from an internal table

Hi Everybody,
I have to get unique record from an internal table. i know we can use read statement with key condition .
But the problem is i have to use some relational operators like GE or LE.
eg
read table itab into wa with key width GE itab-widthfrom
                                                   width LE itab-widthto
                                                   machno eq itab-machno.
Its giving me error when I use the operators GE , LE.( I think since it can't find a unique record with those relational
operators in the with key statement)
Is there any other way to get unique record from internal table without using the loop?

Using the read statement you will need some kind of loop. For example.
DO.
READ TABLE......
WITH KEY ......
                    READ = SPACE
IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0
TABLE-READ = 'X'.
MODIFY TABLE
ADD 1 TO W_FOUND.
ELSE
EXIT.
ENDIF
ENDDO.
IF W_FOUND EQ 1.
...record is unique.
ENDIF.

Need help in retrieving attributes from LDAP using JNDI

I am trying to retrieve attributes from LDAP using JNDI, but I'm getting the following error when I try to run my Java program.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/naming/NamingException
I have all the jar files in my classpath: j2ee.jar, fscontext.jar and providerutil.jar. The interesting thing is that it gets compiled just fine but gives an error at run-time.
Could anyone tell me why I'm getting this error? Thanks!

That doesn't work either. It seems its not finding the NamingException class in any of the jar files. I don't know why? Any clues?
