Need to get Zoom 5341 modem re-provisioned for Blast upgrade to 50

I switched to Blast Plus at 50/10 a few months ago from the Blast 30/7 product. My speeds have not changed, which I assume is due to the modem not being re-provisioned for the higher speeds. Is there a simple way to do this without having to go thru the support number?

Would it be possible to have that done with my Zoom 5341 modem as well? When I did a live chat with a representative, I was told that buying a new modem was my only option. I was also told that this modem is not on the approved Comcast modem list. The current offered service in my area is 75 mbps, but I'd be happy if I could even get to the 50 mbps that we've had for over a year already (my connection tops out at about 36 mbps). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to be running Mac OS X 10.5 or newer to get iTunes 10. This OS version won't run on a G3.
Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 are available on DVD. Mac OS X 10.6 requires an Intel Mac.

You really need to determine what the priorities are. For example, scanning slides is not something you're going to be able to do with a multifunction printer.
It might be to your benefit to cost out dedicated printers and scanner. Then you don't need to compromise one thing for an other.

Please note, however, that these records might not be available to you even though you are their customer; they might limit access to law enforcement or other requests accompanied by a subpoena. You could contact your service provider and see what they are willing to do for you.
Note: Your ISP would have no idea which requests were made in regular browsing mode versus private browsing mode because it looks identical from where they are. You would have to figure that out for yourself.

Your phone already has a micro SIM card in the device so it can connect to the VZW network. You will need an international plan from VZW if you intend to use that SIM card. Otherwise you can get a new SIM card from the local carrier and setup the phone for global use with a separate APN with that carrier's specific information.

No, you are not limited to Apple. Other routers exists - Here are some reviews. You can find others in a Google Search.
Regarding Wi-Fi (hot spots). Yes, as you have noticed, more and more public places have wireless connections. Some are secured, i.e. require a password to access. Others are not - voluntary or involuntary.
To access a network, your Airport cards needs to be "on" - to enable, go to your menu bar, and click the Wireless icon (inverted striped fan). When the menu appears, make sure Airport is set to "on". If a "wi-fi" network is present, your machine automatically connects to it (if there are multiple networks, Airport will usually connect to the strongest signal). Access depends on the presence or lack of "security". In your Airport panel, you'll see the name of the network(s) available, with a check mark next to the one being accessed. To chose a different network, simply highlight it and click. The check mark moves to that network. For commercial secured access, you'll have to pay a stated fee listed by the site. For unsecured networks (no password), you can technically have access to the Network for surfing the Internet.
Once connected, access to the Internet is a simple as starting up your browser.
One big word of caution - when you access an unsecured wi-fi connection, your machine becomes part of that network, making it potentially noticeable to anyone else on the network. Also, you may be breaking the law. Further, adequately addressing security issues is more on the front-burner now, as most machine's introduced in the past year are "airport" ready. Regardless, I encourage you to be certain you are accessing a Network legally. Also, make sure adequate security measures are in place on the Network to protect your machine's internal data from others.
Back to unsecured networks: While OS X has security provisions to prevent unauthorized access to your system, I suggest you disable any file sharing item found in your System Preference>Sharing panel. Personally, I suggest you stay away from Unsecured Networks. They are an "accident" waiting to happen.

When I used Audacity to digitize some of my LPs I would record the whole album, then trim the lead in, select and export the first track, delete that, then export the next track, and so on. You can zoom in and out to locate the track breaks. There is a snap to zero point option which should prevent clicks on track transitions. If you want to go deeper you can add fade in and out so you don't snap into the sound of the groove. (I was using a pretty ropey turntable). There are other tools that chop up audio but you should be able to do it all in Audacity reasonably quickly once you get your eye in. I'm sure there are tools that can chop audio at pre-specified points, or even calculate where those points should be, but they are unlikely to be free and probably still need a degree of supervision.

I've been using PhotoShop since 2.0 in the early 90's, and I've never seen an upgrade as problematic as CS5. I decided pretty quickly after installing the CS5 package nearly a year ago that I would be better of staying with PS CS3, which was more stable. I've starting trying to get accustomed to PS CS5 again recently and am experiencing the same frustrations I was encountering before, having my progress interupted with some out-of-the-blue weirdness and having to spend untold amounts of time figuring out what the H it's doing this time. The problem this morning is that all my key controls seem to have mysteriously been disabled. I'm talking about those controls where holding the shift key down activates the grabber tool for moving the image around in the viewport. Or holding the shift + command keys to activate the zoom function. I need these and they've just decided to vanish. I've reset my preferences, which didn't work, except to cause me to rebuild my workspace.
Would someone please tell me how to get this functionality back?

If you have set this phone up, then there would not necessarily be a solution here until you have been verify with the provider that everything is provisioned correctly on their end. Since the 3G comes from your cellular provider, if the settings are correct on the phone, then you should work with the carrier next.

Help Needed to set up Wireless Modem/Router

I have a new MacBook Pro connected to the internet via a BigPond supplied Speedtouch modem through ethernet cable. I have an Open Network 824RLW router/adsl modem that I would like to use for a wireless connection.
I just can't seem to get it to work. It says connected to wlan-app...
I read some of the discussions here and on whirlpool and there seems to be concerns about the extreme cards in the MBP.
Please can someone tell me what settings (Mac and Modem) I need to make to get the MBP to talk to the router/modem. I can get into the modem settings easily enough and think I have set it up correctly but don't have bigpond support to know exactly what needs to be done.

Need to get rid of lines top and bottom

The video material I'm cutting has a very annoying, eye-catching top and bottom edge. The topmost and lowest lines kind of wobble or jitter. I need to get rid of this.
Do I 'zoom in' / expand the picture, or is there a crop tool I haven't come across?

Right-click(Control+click) the clip with the settings and chose copy.
Select all of your clips that you want to apply the same settings to and right- click and chose paste attributes. A window will open and check the motion box and then click apply(Ok?)
Now all of the selected clips will have the motion setting that you copied. This is also a good way for copying video and audio filters and any other settings in the motion tab.
