Need to identify correct Model of GT70

Hello,
I am a new member and a new owner (purchased GT70 from a friend). I was trying to upgrade drivers, BIOS, video card driver, etc. but cannot exactly identify the model. The label on the box says GT70 0NC and MKT Name GT70 0NC - 494US.
I went to the MSI site and found GT70 20C, 20D, Dragon Edition 2, Dragon Edition 2 Extreme but cannot find the 0NC.
I kindly request some help to understand which model from the MSI site should I choose to upgrade drivers, BIOS, etc.
Thanks in advance.
Luis.

  • Need help identifying specific model

I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. The model number and serial number have been rubbed off from the back. I'd like to know which model I have.
It has L505 on one of the decals on the front of the laptop. I have looked at the specs for each of the L505s listed when you start to input the model number on the support page. None of the models listed are mine. Here are the specifics of my model.
It has an AMD Athlon II Dual-Core M300 CPU
It has ATI Mobility Radeon 4100 display adapter
It has a Hitachi HTS545025B9A300 250GB hard drive
    It came with 3GB PC-6400S memory cards (1-1Gb, 1-2GB)
It has built in Ethernet, wireless networking, 1 USB 3.0 port plus 2 USB 2.0 ports.
It has a 15.6 HD Trubrite Display
I should mention that the hard drive has been reformatted and Win7 loaded meaning all the Toshiba pre-loaded programs are gone and I have no backup.
Can someone identify this model or point me to a program that can tell me the model number and hopefully the serial number of my laptop?
    TIA

You are right, KYWes! I apologize as I did not read the whole post which, of course, I should have. I had started to give you a trusted third party program to furnish you the info you seek and opted for PC Diagnostic Tool.
Hopefully to get back in your good graces, download and install Belarc Advisor and it will give you all the details of your machine.  It's free.

  • Need help identifying which model G4 I have

I've been trying to figure out which G4 I have but have gotten a little confused by this article:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=42739
Given my model # (M8570) and given that there are only 2 firewire ports it should be a MDD. But, in the table on the link in the Processor(s) row it says its a dual processor. When I go to the System Profiler it shows 1 processor.
    I don't think mines a dual. I think its a 1.25 GHz single.
Is the table wrong or am I not reading it right?
    Thanks
    Tom

Thanks, and thanks Rodney too. I'll ignore the tag on the case and dive inside. FYI I bought the machine from CDW on 5/13/04.
I'll pop it open a little later but I have a question about the reliability of the profiler. I have another post in the 10.3.9 section asking about why my MS Office apps aren't showing up in the apps section and now the sales order stuff being missing.
Where is the info that the profiler is displaying coming from? This is what's listed in the Hardware Overview:
    Machine Model: Power Mac G4
    CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.3)
    Number Of CPUs: 1
    CPU Speed: 1.25 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB
L3 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB
    Memory: 768 MB
    Bus Speed: 167 MHz
    Boot ROM Version: 4.4.8f2
    Serial Number: YM4118ECPC1
And in the Firewire section it lists only the 400 mb/sec bus.
The only 1 CPU 1.25 GHz 167 MHz bus config I've seen (like in MacTracker) would make this an MDD 2003. If that turns out to be the case, then the whole problem is the tag on the case.
I'll post back what I see inside.
I really appreciate all the help. The reason behind this search is 1) because I will probably be selling the unit soon (have a mini) and 2) we're having trouble getting a Sonnet wireless card to work. In both cases having an accurate description helps.

  • I need help identifying which Magsafe Power Adapter I need for my Macbook Pro Model A1398, EMC 2673?

I need help identifying which Magsafe Power Adapter I need for my Macbook Pro Model A1398, EMC 2673?

Provided the computer-end fits, you are free to use one with a HIGHER Wattage rating. No damage whatsoever will be done to any component, but it will likely run cooler (but may be slightly heavier).
If you use one with too LOW a Wattage rating, you will not be able to charge and run at the same time, and your computer's top speed (for its most intensive computations) will be limited.

  • Need to identify model no for Pavilion G6 laptop

Non-standard information label on case.  Label appears to be hybrid Windows Key code also including HP codes, but no code is identified (ie no s/n;p/n prefix).
    Likely product codes included are:
       584037-001
       X16-96072
However neither of these codes are accepted on HP web-site.
Can anyone help identify correct HP product/model code?

  • I can't get my Epson Stylus SX438W to work. Has anyone had trouble finding the correct model when installing the driver?

I am having trouble completing the installation of my new Epson Stylus SX438W Wi-Fi printer. The printer is connected to my network and so is my Mac. I have put the Epson software disc in the Mac and followed the procedure to installing everything that is needed. I am stuck at a point that Epson have not been able to help with, and as advised to ask my router provider whether it does MAC filtering. It does not apparently. Then i have been advised to contact Apple. So that's where i am. The problem is that at the point where i have to add the printer to the printer list the correct model does not show in the provided list, so i hit the "more printers" tab. Not in here either. Epson have guided me through the installation of the latest driver and the prinnter still, does not show up in any lists. We have tried setting it up manually (i believe!, i am far, far from really knowing at all what i am doing). When trying to print a document from Microsoft word all that comes out is jargon on the sheets. Obviously not what i am after. I realise my description may be very unhelpful to you but i am REALLY stuck i don't know what to do now. Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. i have attached an image of the screen i have got to if that is of any help and i can get more screen shots etc. if anyone needs them!

    OK, let's try these................
1 - Boot up from your install DVD and run "Repair Disk" from the Utility menu.  When done, restart back to your desktop, repair permissions and restart your computer.  Re-connect your printer.
2 - Download & install the Gimp drivers. Make sure the one you install is compatible w/your OS-Gutenprint 5.2.8-pre1.   Repair permissions, restart your computer & re-connect your printer when done.
The Epson model I have, in order to get it to print wirelessly, I had to install a Gimp driver.
3 - Check out the following KB Articles:
Mac OS X 10.4 Help: Connecting to a network printer
Epson Printer Drivers v2.10 OS X
Adding a printer to your printer list in Mac OS X
Mac OS X 10.4 Help: The printer I'm adding says "Driver not installed"
    ======================
If still unsuccessful after trying all of the above, the problem could be your iBook or human error.  You can either call Epson & ask to speak with a Mac savy supervisor or return the printer & find another that is compatible w/your current OS.

I had a little time to elaborate with and getting involved more deeply. I found out that there was an old installation of IrfanView (some older version) which probably interacted with the iTunes. After unistallation both iTunes (including registry entries and all files from disk) and that sh*t (=IrfanView), the new iTunes installation ran properly and the problem was solved.
It could be caused by the exact combination of: Win7, iTunes 9 or 10, IrfanView, Lenovo T400 and probably something more I cannot recognize .
p.s. During the problem solution I bought me a brandnew iPhone 4 so I was able to test it both with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3. The result was - It does not matter what iPhone do you have...

  • Finding correct model

I have a all-in-one TouchSmart PC. There is no label on in so I don't know the correct model for downloading drivers.
Is there a way to display the correct model using some function in Windows 8.1?

Thank you for the additional information.
No, none of the numbers is what you need to get the drivers.  Here is another guide to help you find the model #.

  • Wrong Auc Settled and depreciation need to be corrected

    Hi,
Issue is our end user created asset called A with 15000 in June 2008.
Based on that 2 months depreciation was posted properly.
After that one wrong Auc was settled to this asset with the amount of 10000. (T Code : AIAB)
So after that based on this amount system calculated depreciation.
Today only we got identified that error.
Now we need to the correct the all the wrong postings.
Please guide me the full process to rectify with T codes.
    Sateesh

    Hi,
    Steps to be followed
    1. Reverse the Capitalisation done (in AIBU) using T code AB08. give the Auc Asset number and select the capitalisation Line item.
    2. Do the capitalisation with correct asset number and asset value date.
    3. Run Depreciation in AFAB.
If the depreciation is already posted, the system would calculated the differential amount to be  posted. But execute the AFAB for the wrong asset in the repeat mode. Adjustment amount will be reversed in the GL account
    4. IF depreciation is not run for that asset with wrong amount, then just execute AFAB for the current period.
Initially try this in the test run mode.. so check the amount to be posted.
    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Seshadri

  • Identify the Model of your iMac

Does anyone know how to identify the model (version) of your iMac? I have a indigo slot-loader. But I don't know anything else about it. It doesn't have an OS loaded, and I'm having trouble getting it to read the OS CD I have. So how do I identify exactly what model it is? Is there another way to identify it? Can I look up the machine's number online somewhere?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hello,
Since you don't actually intend to use OS 9, you may not need to install it.
The only reason to install OS 9 is if you need to install firmware updates on the machine that are required to install OS X.
You can find a list of all the updates for your machine here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58174
And, the ones that are specifically required for OS X are listed here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86117
Now, if you do need these updates for your computer, then another option might be to connect your computer to another machine that does have OS 9 installed.
If your computer has a FireWire port, then you could use FireWire Target Disk Mode to boot your machine as a simulated hard drive.
Then, connect your computer to another computer that already has OS 9 running on it.
You can read about this here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58583
You could then clone that system's hard drive to your hard drive using a backup program. Basically, duplicate that system's hard drive / OS installation to your machine.
One the installation is copied to your computer, you can disconnect the two machines, and re-boot your computer from it's own hard drive to install the firmware updates.
It is important to make sure you have all the firmware updates before you install OS X. Failure to get those firmware updates installed could result in having a machine that will not work at all if you install OS X without them.
Now, if your machine already has those updates, then you can just go directly to OS X.
You can read the discussion here to see which version of the firmware you have by following the directions in this discussion:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2707137&#2707137
If you are unable to make sense of the number you find, let me know what it is, and I'll try to help you out.
If you already have the latest firmware version for your machine, then you can go straight to OS X without worrying about installing OS 9.
Now, it would still be beneficial to get the other updates that require OS 9. But, those are not as critical as the firmware update for OS X.
    I hope this helps.

  • Need to Identify which Macs I have

I need to identify which Mac PowerMac G4 I have. I have two used Macs.
One I learned to connect to the Internet, and the other had the modem in it that I used to connect to the Internet.
One computer is a PowerMac G4, and I somehow found on our apple.com, that it is a G4 audi/visual, by the way the headphone or speaker jacks are arrainged on the back of the computer. But I would like to know when it was made, or how old is it. What did it cost new? This computer has a OS X 10.4. The other PowerMacG4 has a OS X 9.2 and is a bit different, cause it does not have a outside button to open up the CD tray...Any Ideas where I can find all this info on our apple.com?
    Thanks
    Patrick

  • R/3 to XI (Idoc to File): Do we need to maintain distribution model in R/3?

    Hi All,
I have a very basic question regarding Distribution model.
My scenario is IDOC-->File ( SAP R/3 --> XI). So all I am trying to do is send the IDOC frrom R/3 to XI. ( Within XI I am going to do an FTP to the 3rd party file server)
I have created a distribution model, but was wondering if I really need to create one as message is going from R/3 to XI and not from R/3 to another R/3.
Please help let me know If I need to distribute this model to XI or to SAP production sytem or I do not need to duistribute at all for this scenario.
    Thanks
    Shirin

    Hi,
if you create partner profiles and port via t.code.
i hope, it's not required to maintain Distribution model.
      please check the below points.
Configuration Steps for Idoc to File Scenario.
This is complete step by step document for configuring the idoc to file scenario along with ALE Settings
To Configure the IDOC TO FILE SCENARIO, SETTINGS IN SAP-XI
    STEP 1:ALE SETTINGS IN SAP-XI
We need to do the following settings in XI
    1) Create an RFC Destination to the Sending System in transaction code (SM59)
    a) Choose create
    b) Specify the name of the RFC destination
    c) Select connection type as 3 and save
    d) In the technical settings tab enter the details SAP SID/URL and system number#
    e) Enter the Gateway host as same details above SID/URL
    f) Gateway service is 3300+system number#
    g) In the Logon /Security tab, enter the client user & Password details of Destination system
    h) Test the connection and remote logon. Both should be succesful
