Need to identify Table or Report Name or Transaction Name for mapping roles

In PFCG transaction, we can see the simple roles available inside a composite role.
But I want to identify the table name or report name or transaction name which will help me to identify simple roles for all composite roles.
Looking for your soonest reply.
With Regards,
Santanu Samantroy

Thank You for your quick turn around.
This table can help us to find out the simple/derived roles inside all composite roles at once.
Do you have any idea, of any report/transaction can provide the same result.
Similarly please let me know, if there is any report/transaction/table which can provide mapping of all simple and derived roles.
Transaction code SUIM does not provide this facility.
Thank You once again.

  • Is there any table or report that available in SAP for any PR/STR

    HI All,
    Is there any table or report that available in SAP for any PR/STR that are remain opened after S/O canceled.
    Please advice at the earliest.
    Thanks
    Chandru

    Chandru,
    Of course.  The standard MD06 transaction will display ALL MRP generated exception messages, and will take you to the individual material to allow you to determine how you wish to respond to it.
    So, MD06>enter the plant.  Optionally, enter the controller if you wish to limit the results by planner.
    If you are interested in Sales order cancellations, then these exceptions would be categorized by SAP as belonging to the  "exceptions during Scheduling" or "exceptions during availability" groups.  On the Exceptions group tab, select these two items (6&7), deselect the rest. Enter.
    You are now presented with a list of all materials that contain one or more of these exceptions.  From the menu bar at the top, select Edit>Find.  If you get a 'statistics' popup, click through.  Select the 'Find Exceptions' tab.
    Message 26 "excess stock in individual segment" means that in a MTO environment, you have more supply than demand against given order/items (as you would have if a cust. cancelled his MTO order).  Select this message.
    Message 20 "Cancel Process" means that you have a supply element that has NO requirements (as you would have if a cust. cancelled his MTS order).  Select this messaege.
    Message 15 " Postpone process" means that you have supply elements that are scheduled to be received earlier that necessary (as you might have if a Cust cancelled his MTS order). Optionally select this message.
    Clik the green check.  You will now notice that certain rows on the listing are highlighted.  These are the ones that contain your problem children.  Hit the "glasses selected MRP list" button.
    This takes you to the first MD05 of the highlighted items.  Review the problem.  Decide what to do:  Cancel a supply element?  Push out a supply element? Leave it alone?  Call customer service to discuss which order was cancelled and why?  etc etc etc...
    Once you are done with the first material, clik on the 'next material' icon or hit Ctrl-F2.  Repeat.  Continue till all materials have been evaluated and resolved.
    This works for any other MRP message as well.
    Regards,
    DB49

    Guo,
    I see a question mark in the sql statement, instead of the Oracle-style bind parameter notation which would be ":1". Can you change your VO to use Oracle-Style bind params and see whether it works?

  • Need to get .ENV and reports.sh set up correctly for 9i/WebUtil

    We have been editing default.env, a app-specific version of default.env called duris.env, and reports. sh, trying to fix the conflict between Forms WebUtil and Reports in 9.0.2.0.1. Now, it's to the point that I can't even run Reports from Forms without core dumping(direct URL calls to Reports work fine) .
    I am pasting the contents of these 3 files into this note, in hopes someone can look at them and tell me why Reports won't even run from Forms any more. Any suggestions are welcome. My email is [email protected].

  • Transaction Codes for Report Painter Reports

    Hi,
    Can any bodu assist on how can we create a link for the report painter report and the transaction code for the same.
    Also is there somthing to be taken care while getting the same transported to another client.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ankur Goel

    Hi,
    Thanks for response.
    Actually I created the Transaction code and get the Report and Transaction code transported but when i executed the transaction code in the Receiver Client i gave run time ABAP error.
    let me give example:
    a) I created the Library, Report Group & Report in my Developement Client.
    b) Using SE93 i assigned the program name of the Report to transaction code.
    c) Got the Library, Report Group, Report & T.code transported to Quality Client.
    d) Executed the transaction code in QAS which gave me error.
    Reason identified:
    a) Let say Program name created for the report is AAXGHGYGBL010 in my client 010.
    b) Transaction code ZREPORT01 created using SE93 for program AAXGHGYGBL010.
    c) Now got the Library, Report Group, Report & T.code transported to Quality Client 050.
    d) In client 050 program AAXGHGYGBL010 doesnot exist as AAXGHGYGBL050 has been created for the transported Report.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Need custom column widths in Append Text Table to Report

    I need to print reports with tables of different column widths specified for each column, as the contained fields vary in width from just 3 characters in one column to 40 characters in another.  Also we are trying to match the reports generated by a non-labview routine.  In the past I have been able to achieve this by editing the Append Table to Report vi, working my way through the inner hierarchy to replace the DBL numeric COLUMN WIDTH control with a DBL numeric array.  The innermost vi, Set Table Column Width, assigns the numeric to a property node in a for loop, so the change is simple: replace the scalor with an array and enable indexing on the for loop.  Of course, after each Labview upgrade, I've had to go back in and repeat these edits on the overwritten upgraded vi's.  This time there is a problem.  The new version of this toolkit is object oriented, and disturbing these vi's wrecks the class methods in a way I don't understand (mostly because I've had no dealings with object oriented programming) and which cannot be undone.  I recently tried this and after not being able to fix the problem even with phone support, I had to spend the next two days unistalling and reinstalling Labview!  I desperately need a way to achieve this functionality without killing the toolkit, which is used (in its original functionality) by another absolutely critical program.  PLEASE HELP!
    The hierarchy is as follows:
    NI report.lvclass:Append Table to Report (wrap)
    NI report.lvclass:Append Table to Report
    NI Standard report.lvclass:Append Text Table to Report
    NI Standard report.lvclass:tables
    NI Report Generation Core.lvlibet Table Column Width

    There is a highly relevant thread under discussion here:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=features&thread.id=429
    You may wish to read it and chime in as it is a discussion of LabVIEW's policy (and possible change in policy for the future) concerning the handling of non-palette VIs between LV versions.

    I doubt that it is a simple fix -- our AEs are generally top notch at figuring out solutions for customers -- if it were simple, my bet is they'd have solved it. Asking an AE to work around a bug is different from asking them to rearchitect the toolkit. You are asking them to add a feature that the new version of the toolkit is not
    designed to support. The difficulty in doing this is completely independent of the decision to use LabVIEW classes to implement the toolkit. If any piece of software is not designed with a particular use case in mind, what may be a simple tweak under one design may become a very hard problem under another design.
    In your case, the solution is very straightforward: Use the older version of the toolkit. Any time you create a custom modification of the VIs that ship with LV or one of its toolkits, you should make your own copy and have your VIs link against the copy. LabVIEW promises to maintain all the public functionality version over version. Usually we succeed at that. What we do not promise is to maintain our private implementation of that functionality. It is impossible for LabVIEW (or any other software library) to maintain all of its private internal operations while still continuing any development. Using a copy of the original VIs shields you from having to recode your changes every version (something you've already mentioned is a chore) and it guarantees that functionality that you relie upon does not disappear.
    I hope you are willing to be understanding of this situation and not hold it against the AEs working on this. They try hard to provide excellent customer service, and spend lots of time inventing custom solutions for our users.  This happens to be a situation where the correct fix is not to modify the new toolkit version to do something it wasn't designed to do but to modify your development process so that the problem is solved now and into the future.

  • Need to call user defined table in Report

    Hi there,
    In my report, need to call user defined database table. This table contains 2 columns one for checkbox. After calling this table, user has to check required rows and save changes. can we create transaction code for this table and call from within report? anybody pls suggest how to implement this requirement.
    Regards,
    Zakir.

    Zakir,
    U can do it in both the ways (TXN or rept).
    If rept, use an itab to check and insert rows to the DB tab.
    If mod pol, use a table control and update db tab...

    Hi, I tried to created some insert/update/delete form+report in an application, it works fine only if the table has primary key. Does anyone know how to create the same functionality with a table with no primary key? I saw an application is built on older version of htmldb that is using tables with no primary keys at all.
    Here are the specific issues that I am facing:
    - I am building some Form on a table with Report, it requires the table with primary key for form to update. Is there a workaround that I can use tables that has no primary keys at all?
    - Say if primary key is necessary in the previous report+form, but the maximum number of columns that I can use to composed a primary is only 2 for that Form-Report, I cannot find anything handling > 2 primary key. Do you know if there are some ways to composite a primary key from many columns together?
    Your help is really appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Angela

    Sorry to ask response so late. I had no time to get back to that issue before.
    Regarding the triggers, I can make it work for the update, but not the insert.
    Here is my trigger:
    create or replace trigger STATUS_T1
    instead of insert on STATUS
    begin
    insert into STATUS ("LABEL", "AREA", "OWNER", "TEST_NAME", "STATUS", "REMARKS", "BUGS", "DEV_MGR", "TEST_BY_DATE")
    values(:new.LABEL, :new.AREA, :new.OWNER, :new.TEST_NAME, :new.STATUS, :new.REMARKS, :new.BUGS, :new.DEV_MGR, :new.TEST_BY_DATE);
    end;
    by any chance, you can notify what is wrong?
    I already skip the ROWID when inserting to the view STATUS, but I cannot figure out what is wrong when inserting a new record to that view.
    It gave me the following errors:
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 38: PL/SQL: ORA-00904: "ID": invalid identifier ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
    Error Unable to process row of table STATUS
    Then, I turned to debug mode, I am thinking that maybe because I use a HIDDEN item to hold the value of ROW_ID as I use the rowid (called ID in the view) to retrieve the record as a column link from previous page. What do you think?
    Thanks again,
    Angela

  • Need to identify the same people based on their (misspelled) names

    hello
    we have a table with persons and their name (first name and last name in 1 field) ;
    the names are often mispelled, so some string comparison is required;
    can you advise what the best approach would be to uniquely identify the same people?
    so far i have only found this functions :utl_match.jaro_winkler_similarity and SOUNDEX
    is there anything else 'out of box' i could make use of to implement the above?
    i appreciate any tips
    thanks very much
    rgds

    UTL_MATCH (either the Jaro-Winkler or the edit distance functions) would generally be preferred. SOUNDEX is a less sophisticated algorithm.
    In the general case, however, doing this sort of thing yourself is extremely difficult. There are commercial products out there that just help you do fuzzy matching on names. If you're going to build something yourself, you're likely going to spend a large amount of time trying to fine-tune the algorithm to try to balance type 1 (false positive, you match names that you shouldn't) and type 2 errors (false negative, you fail to match names that you should). To do it well will require a rather large number of meetings with users trying to figure out the appropriate balance of errors in your particular environment.

  • Table need to be added in report painter library

    HI,
    Can't we add any table in report painter library (GR21) like if i add <b>s032</b> it is accepted by library while <b>'MARD'</b> is not accepted it gives error <b>Table MARD is not installed in Report Writer.</b>
    what is the difference between s032 and MARD table, as both are transparent table. but one is accepted and other is not.
    Thanks

    Hi
    You can't use all tables.see the below lines for it:
    Both Report Painter and Report Writer can be used to report on the following tables and tables types:
    &#61500;     Evaluation structures set up in the Logistics Information System (LIS). These structures normally begin with an “S” or “ZF.” Several different tables and views within the R/3 System can be added as evaluation structures.
            Note: You cannot add cluster tables, such as BSEG.
    &#61500;CCSS is used for Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-OPA), Activity Based Costing (CO-ABC) and for cost element reports in Project Systems (PS).
    &#61500;GLFUNCT is used for functional area reporting in cost-of-sales accounting.
    &#61500;GLPCT and GLPCOP are used for Profit Center Accounting (CO-PCA/EC-PCA).
    &#61500;FILC is used for Legal Consolidations (FI-LC).
    &#61500;COFIT is used for the Controlling Reconciliation Ledger (CO-CEL).
    &#61500;ZZ tables are created for the Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL).
    &#61500;FIMC is used for consolidations in the Enterprise Controlling module (EC-LC).
    &#61500;GLT0 is used for Financial Accounting (General Ledger) reports by account, company, and business area (FI-GL).
    &#61500;KKBC, KKBE, and KKBU are used for the Controlling Product Costing module (CO-Costing).

  • Is it possible to create a view where table in the From clause changes name

    is it possible to create a view from a from a table like this
    create view my_view as select id, col1, col2, result from <<my_latest_cacahe_table>>;
    the table in the from clause changes the name .
    I have another table which indicates the the latest name of my cache tables. Always there are two records there. The latest one and previous one.
    select * from cache_table_def
    table_name cache_table_name refresh_date
    my_table cache_table245 1/23/2012
    my_table cache_table235 1/22/2012
    create table cache_table_def (table_name varchar2(25), cache_table_name varchar2(25), refresh_date date);
    insert into cache_table_def values( 'my_table','cache_table245','23-jan-2012');
    insert into cache_table_def values ( 'my_table','cache_table546','22-jan-2012');
    create table cache_table245 (id number, col1 varchar2(50), col2 varchar2(20), result number);
    insert into cache_table245 values(1, 'test123', 'test345',12.12);
    insert into cache_table245 values (2, 'test223', 'test245',112.12);
    create table cache_table235 (id number, col1 varchar2(50), col2 varchar2(20), result number);
    insert into cache_table235 values (1, 'test123', 'test345',92.12);
    insert into cache_table235 values (2, 'test223', 'test245',222.12);
    what I need to do is find the latest cache_table name for my_table and use that in my view defintion
    When user select from the the view it always reurns the data from the latest cache_table
    is it possible to do something like this in oracle 11g?
    I have no control on the cache tables names. that is why I need to use the latest name from the table.
    Any ideas really appreciated.

    I've worked up an example that does what you ask. It uses the SCOTT schema EMP table. Make two copies of the EMP table, EMP1 and EMP2. I deleted dept 20 from emp1 and deleted dept 30 from emp2 so I could see that the result set really came from a different table.
    -- create a context to hold an environment variable - this will be the table name we want the view to query from
    create or replace context VIEW_CTX using SET_VIEW_FLAG;
    -- create the procedure specified for the context
    - we will pass in the name of the table to query from
    create or replace procedure SET_VIEW_FLAG ( p_table_name in varchar2 default 'EMP')
      as
      begin
          dbms_session.set_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME', upper(p_table_name));
      end;
    -- these are the three queries - one for each table - none of them will return data until you set the context variable.
    select * from emp where 'EMP' = sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' );
    select * from emp1 where 'EMP1' = sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' );
    select * from emp2 where 'EMP2' =  sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' )
    -- this is how you set the context variable depending on the table you want the view to query
    exec set_view_flag( p_table_name => 'EMP' );
    exec set_view_flag( p_table_name => 'EMP1' );
    exec set_view_flag( p_table_name => 'EMP2');
    -- this will show you the current value of the context variable
    SELECT sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' ) FROM DUAL
    -- this is the view definition - it does a UNION ALL of the three queries but only one will actually return data
    CREATE VIEW THREE_TABLE_EMP_VIEW AS
    select * from emp where 'EMP' = sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' )
    union all
    select * from emp1 where 'EMP1' = sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' )
    union all
    select * from emp2 where 'EMP2' =  sys_context( 'VIEW_CTX', 'TABLE_NAME' )
    -- first time - no data since context variable hasn't been set yet
    SELECT * FROM THREE_TABLE_EMP_VIEW
    -- get data from the EMP table
    exec set_view_flag( p_table_name => 'EMP' );
    SELECT * FROM THREE_TABLE_EMP_VIEW
    -- get data from the EMP2 table
    exec set_view_flag( p_table_name => 'EMP2');
    SELECT * FROM THREE_TABLE_EMP_VIEW
    For your use case you just have to call the context procedure whenever you want to switch tables. You can union all as many queries as you want and can even put WHERE clause conditions based on other filtering criteria if you want. I have used this approach with report views so that one view can be used to roll up report data different ways or for different regions, report periods (weekly, quarterly, etc). I usually use this in a stored procedure that returns a REF CURSOR to the client. The client requests a weekly report and provides a date, the procedure calculates the START/END date based on the one date provided and sets context variables that the view uses in the WHERE clause for filtering.
    For reporting it works great!
