Need to Increase CacheCriteria column width to 512 in SiteCatalog

I want to increase the CacheCriteria column width to 512 in SiteCatalog table in order to accomodate additional cache criteria for few pages as per business requirements. Could anyone please let me know if there is any impact on the product features or will it break any product functionality.

When we are running the KE30 in background, spool is generating. However the columns in the output are very narrow (and the information cannot be read). Where do you control this?.
Eg : Orders B - *3105,54 (Outpput value is not clear and unable to read from the spool)
I tried to change the column width of forms in KE35 but it doesn't work as expected.
Expecting you suggestions/assistance on the same.

No key commands are available. You can select the table then use the "Table Formatter":
These controls will apply to the items selected. If you have one column highlighted then you can change the width of that one column. If you select all columns then this control will apply to the selected columns.
you can also hover the cursor over the dividers between columns (the lines in the header... the lines between, for instance, the "A" and the "B"). The cursor will change to a vertical bar with a horizontal line with left right arrows, then click and drag as needed. Similar for rows.

Try the following code.

I have a Interactive Report and I want to wrap the column values.
Also want to increase/decrease width of the columns..
I have 2 columns say.. Description and List

Actually, I want to increase/decrease the column width in Interactive Report.
As shown the in the example of Description field...it's coming in 4-5 lines.
I want to increase the width of Description column..so that it should come only in 2 lines..

How to increase the column width when viewing a spreadsheet created by a concurrent request

I have created a BI Publisher template to display the output from scheduled discoverer reports. It contains sixty three columns and the heading for each one is a variable but, in order to fit these on the page, each column is about a half a centimeter wide.
When I use the Preview Template option from the RTF file and select Excel the columns are automatically sized to accommodate the data (which is what is required). However, when I upload the template and run a concurrent request and view the output, each column is shown as half a centimetre in width so the user can see very little of the data without resizing all columns. We do not think that this will be acceptable to our users.
We are using Excel 2010 in both cases.
I have looked at this forum and tried a few things without success so any help will be gratefully received.

Expanding the column width

Hi -
In SharePoint 2013 the content/columns of document libraries seem like they are crammed too close together. In SP2010 they seemed to have more spacing between the columns and filled the whole screen left to right.    I believe to resolve
this we would need to modify the AllItems.aspx and increase the column width. That would probably have to be on a site-by-site basis and we'd want to have it done to the entire site collection.   Is this possible?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to expand the column width.
You can add the Javascript code to the master page. However, you need to find the common class.

In the SMART Forms, you would have created a Table object and specified the line width and divided that into no. of columns that you want, you have to mandatorily specify the width of each column so that total of column width will be equal to that of the line width.
When you double click on the Table object, you can TABLE tab on the right side. If you can't see the line / columns details, click on the DETAILS button.

How to increase PO column length in transaction VA05??

Hi Gurus,
The PO number in our sales order is of 28 characters..
However when we display list of sales orders using transaction code VA05 only first 20 characters are displayed...
Is there any settings required so that all the 28 characters are displayed in the report.

If you have put the 28 characters PO number in sales order header -- purchase order data tab then only you can see these 28 characters in VA05. Also, increase the column width for this PO number column in VA05 then you can see the 28 characters number. I think you have put less that 28 characters in the overview screen assuming that they are 28... right? this PO number field in overview screen in not of the same length as the mentioned above...

I'm not too thrilled about the new iTunes, mostly because of the loss of easy navigation.
My library is full mostly of classical music, and the track names are often very long [eg. "Couperin: Pièces de Clavecin, Onziême Ordre - Les Jongleurs, Sauteurs Et Saltimbanques, Avec Les Ours Et Les Singes"].
The library songs display isn't good for me because it's difficult to keep track of which album one track is a part of, or I'll be looking for something in a specific album which is very difficult to find since each track has its album listing. I liked it before where each album had its array of tracks in one easy bloc.
The difficulty with the albums list is that the text under the albums is cut off before I can see which album it actually is [eg. I see "Bach: Organ Wor...", which isn't good for me because I'm looking for "Bach: Organ Works [Disc 9]"; so in order to find the one I want, I have to count up to number 9. And then when I finally find the right album, I can't distinguish between track names in the expanded view because the columns are too thin to display the often lengthy track names.
It looks something like this in "expanded view":
Say I'm looking for the the Menuetto of Haydn's String Quartet #70 in the album Haydn: String Quartets [Disc 20]:

How can I find it when the columns are too thin to display the entire track name?
It seems like the "songs view" and the "albums view" have their own difficulties. So I have two questions:
Is there a way to change the size of the album boxes under "album view"? Now, seven albums fit in one row [in full screen mode]. If I could change it to four albums per row, then I will be able to read the full album names.
Also, in the "expanded view", is there a way to change the width of the columns? If I could increase the column width, then I will be able to read the different track names.
If these things can't be done, then the album view is useless to me, and since the "songs view" is also difficult to use, then this version of iTunes is useless to me and I will have to find another media player.
It's unfortunate that iTunes 11 can be so difficult for classical music listeners, but I'm sure other people have difficulties with this too.

And after one column added the previous one width is become small(about 75).The model.addColumn() method causes a fireTableStructureChanged event to be generated which causes the TableColumns to be recreated and therefore they default back to their default sizes.
So you need to prevent the columns from being recreated. You do this by adding:
JTable table = new JTable(....);
table.setAutoCreateColumnsFromModel(false);But now you are responsible for adding table columns to the table manually. So your code would be something like;

model.addColumn(...);
TableColumn tc = new TableColumn(index);
tc.setHeaderValue("" + index);
table.addColumn( tc );

Fitting JTable column widths

Hi,
I have a JTable that it's columns are in AUTO_RESIZE_OFF mode. The table is in a JScrollPane that it's scrolls are shown when needed. The problem is that the table columns don't fill the scroll pane (horizontally) and because I'm using a layout I don't know that scroll size until the component appears. I need to set the column widths before the table appears.
Is there a solution for this problem?

To fill all the scrollpane you must use AUTO_RESIZE_ALL_COLUMNS or another mode different from AUTO_RESIZE_OFF. But in this case, rhe horizontal scrollbar won't appear.
I found a workaround to show the scrollbar when the viewport width is smaller than the preferred width of the JTable.
