Need to instal my photoshop elements 8 to my new computer

So I do not have my old computer that had photoshop elements 8 on it, and I need to transfer the program to my new computer.
I was told to go to the forums for help because it is photoshop elements 8.
I need help to uninstall it from my older computer and onto my new one.

Did you register your copy of Photoshop? You simply login with your Adobe ID and password you registered under, and it should in "My Products".

Could you tell us if you are talking about Photoshop 4.0 that was released in 1996, or Photoshop CS4 (PS 11), or Photoshop elements 4?
Older version might not work if your C: drive is bigger than 1TeraByte.

I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 in my computer before. Right now I'm not using that computer anymore and want to re-install the software to a new computer. I still have the redemption code but when I entered it, the software said it was redeemed by another ID before. Can you please provide me the download link or which ever way I can re-install the software to the new computer? Thank you.

The serial number that you received the first time you used the redemption code is what you need to complete this. If you did not keep a record of it then you might be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software. If not, I don't know what can be done since you probably didn't purchase it thru Adobe and they will not have any form of proof of purchase.

My old computer died and I've installed my photoshop elements 10 on the new one and have imported all my photos. WHat I can't figure out is how to get my tags and albums back. I had a Norton backup of my old computer so all of the data is available. I just need help figuring out how to link it up with photoshop on the new computer. Anyone have experience with this issue?

You can't run PSE from a USB drive, nor can you transfer PSE to a different computer via a USB drive. PSE must be installed on a computer using the installer program provided by Adobe.

Hi,
Did the serial number come from a boxed set and previously installed from disc and are you now trying to install from a download?
If so, that will not work - the serial numbers are different.
If you don't have a dvd drive on your new system, perhaps you could get someone to copy your disc to a memory stick and install from that.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Why can't I re-install my PS Elements 11 on a new computer. It has been removed from the old machine. I have paid for a license key and would like to install it on my new HP. It tells me that the license key has expired. Why, I was unaware of obsolescence?. I am not very happy!
