Need to know when the Adobe LiveCycle Classes will be Available in the DC Area

Good morning. Please does anyone know when there will be an Adobe LiveCycle Training classes in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. I do have two of my colleagues that will want to attend the classes.

I need to know where the signatures are stored.

We have Acrobat is installed on a Citrix server. It runs through a medical database software application, ARIA. We are having trouble with Acrobat saving the digital signature once the document is closed. IT is wanting to know where on the server the signatures would be stored. Any help will be much appreciated.

Digital signature is inside the signed document. It is not stored anywhere else. After you close the document, reopen it and the signature is right there. It is not external to the document.
I think you may confuse digital signature with the Digital ID used to sign a document. There are several placed where Digital IDs may reside. It all depends how you deployed your Digital ID. If you added it to the Windows Certificate Store, that's where it is. If you (or your IT) added it to the Acrobat Store, then you can look up Digital IDs on your installation in the Security Settings dialog. Depending on the Acrobat version you get to these preferences in a different way. An Acrobat 9 you get there via "Advanced"menu item. In Acrobat X you go there from Tools->Sign&Certify->More Sign and Certify. In Acrobat XI: Edit->Preferences->Signatures->Identities and Trusted Certificates->More...
Once you have "Security Settings"dialog displayed, select in the left pane "Digital ID Files". You will see the certificate file name and the folder where it resides. If you select "Windows Digital IDs", the right pane will show you certificate available in the Windows Store.
I am not working with Citrix but presume that the display will be similar in your case.

Knowing When the Physical Connection to Oracle is lost....

I am using ODP.Net for Query Notification Change in my application.
I need to know when the physical connection to the oracle is lost.
Scenario is we use cached data, so i have to continuously monitor any changes in table.
But when network connection is lost then no notification is received from oracle.
Even after connection is regained, the previous notifications (i.e. when there was no connection) are lost.
How can i make sure that no notifications are lost????

Here are a few things to check/try:
1. Does Tuxedo 6.5 work fine on AIX and does Tuxedo 9.0 work on AIX?
2. Have you checked the RM entries for Oracle and SQL Server on AIX where the issue is happening?
3. Try rebuilding TMS for RMs
4. Any errors at Oracle/SQL Server logs

JPopupMenu : how can I know when the mouse leaves the popup?

Hello,
I need to know when the mouse leaves a JPopupMenu or more precisely when no items are overlighted. Adding a mouselistener to the popup does not work because the JMenuItems themselves capture the mouse.

Actually, I added a MouseListener that extends MouseAdapter to the component that owns the popup, and the same MouseListner to the popup itself. I have only overriden the MouseEntered method to let me know that the mouse is no more over a JMenuItem. It's now working fine, but I don't like that kind of programming.....
I need that to do a toggleButton with a popup menu that would remember the last item selected when the mouse leaves the popup. (Because once a choice is made, the selected "tool" appears as an icon in the button and that icon is updated when the items of the popup are overlighted. So that when the mouse leaves the popup, the selected tool has to reappear as an icon in the button and the associated item has to be armed.)

If you didn't have the opportunity to deactivate the installations then you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations for all the serial numbers involved.

Make sure you are logged in to the Adobe site, have cookies enabled, clear your cookie cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

You need iTunes on the computer. There is no iTunes for your phone. See:

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

client-originated sessions, but still leaves the ability I am
looking for unavailable.
It did serve to definitively answer my most pressing
question, however, with this statement:
Note: ColdFusion cannot create a session if an initiator
application uses a SendGatewayMessage method to start an
interaction with a client, such as an SMS user. In this case, the
sending code must keep track (for example, in a database) of the
messages it sends and their destinations. When a response event
arrives, it can look up the origniatorID to determine whether it
was in response to an outgoing message.
I will play around with the Application scope to see if there
might be a workable solution there.

I tried to find this answer online but failed.

Appears the Mac Pro (Early 2008) is the last model to suggest Ultra ATA/100 optical.
And with an optional card, use Serial Attached SCSI via Mac Pro Raid.
This kind of information gets sketchy in that the hard drive bus and other parts are SATA
and only this (and earlier) model Mac Pro has optical drive interface w/ Ultra ATA/100. The
logic board on the early 2008 appears to have two Serial ATA ports, 3.0GBPS; so to check
these, you may need to look into specification in iFixit.com repair guides, any takeapart
guides, and note specifications in everymac.com and those from mactracker.ca.
The MacPro after Early 2008 model build series (Early 2009) appears to sport an optical
drive with 18x speed, compared to Early 2008 & before, whose drives indicate 16x spec.
Other changes may be indicated by certain parts and differences; processors, graphic
support, and those kinds of things. 2008 shows dual-core, afterward, quad-core.
So on what little I found, that would appear to be the divide or when optical drive spec
on the logic board changed from Ultra ATA/100 to SATA versions. But double check.

i have been looking at the source code for c:url tag and can't figure out how they are doing that. I need a way to do that in a jsp, to check if the cookies are allowed or not.

What do cookies have to do with redirecting?
Cookies get encoded into a URL using the method in HttpServletResponse: response.encodeURL() or encodeRedirectURL().
That method determines whether or not it prints out the session id as part of the url, or it gets uses cookies.
You can try: request.isRequestedSessionIdFromCookie().
If that is true, you know that session cookies are supported (or at least that one was)

When i run Time Machine to back up my computer onto an external hard drive, i have no way of knowing when the back up process has been completed. I don't know when it is safe to disconnect the external hard drive - which is store in a separate location.

This is necessary to know because i don't leave my external hard drive connected to the computer. I routinely disconnect it after backing up the hard drive, and then i store the external hard drive in a different location from the computer. So, knowing when the back up process has been completed would be a very helpful thing to have the computer specify.

Just enable Time Machine's menu extra (System Preferences -> Time Machine -> Show Time Machine in menu bar.
This will add a little Time Machine icon to your menubar. When Time Machine is actively backing up your data, the icon will spin as a visual indicator. You can also click the menu icon to see the backup status, including how much data is left to back up.
