Need to launch specific document and wave file based on the inbound Route Point

I am having issues using CDA in terms of creating the appropriate WF to launch both a wave file and specific Word document based on the inbound DNIS. I have UCCX 8.0(2) SU3 enhanced so I can't use HTTP. I really need a solution today. Thanks.

I did script to play the file to the agent as a whisper then hang up and ring the line again to connect the caller to the agent but the customer didn't like that at all so i just created the WF to launch from the same filepath on all machines to point the the appropriate wave files based on the DNIS. Because the customer has enhanced I'm not launching the Word docs as PDFs in a integrated browser like I'd prefer but as an external application. Again, based on the DNIS.

A stand-alone CVP VXML solution does not need ICM at all. You simply set up the services on the gateway

when i power up, i get this prolong gray screen which wont change screen but remain so. Infact i am handicapped.

The MBA seems to cause several problems to several users on boot ups
On start up my MBA would not boot up the apple logo came on but only a blank screen appeared no fan i followed several start up recommendations but to no avail so I took the MBA to the nearest Apple repair centre again the same symptoms on start up ......very sorry sir you need a new mother board that will be $500 not feeling confidant in the product declined and was going to put it on ebay for spares.
On return home I pressed the start up button and it started normally everything was working fine i decided to reinstall all the software what has caused the problem I have no idea but it is after several attempted reboots it finally started on its own so don't give up if you have this problem it may come to life

I have word doc which having 10 pages. I need to show all of the 10 pages at a time. I tried OLE object but problem is it shows only one page.
Is there any solution to show word doc / PDF file in CR?

Symptom :
When embedding a pdf document into a Crystal Report, only the one page shows.
Reproducing the Issue
Environment:
Crystal Reports OLE object
Cause
An OLE object only displays the first page.
Resolution
Embed multiple objects, one for each page
Or
Use a hyperlink to the object instead

Removing redirected {{My Documents}} and offline files

We have a situation where several of our laptop users, about 100, have their {{My Documents}} folder redirected to a network share and that share is made available offline to them. I have three things I need to do:
1. redirect their {{My Documents}} folder back to the default location
2. Turn off the available offline for these folders on the network share
3. Move the data that is in the network share to the local PC in the default location for {{My Documents}}
For #1 I can change the registry to point back to the default locations.
For #2 I think I can use the group policy under Computer Configuration > policies > Administrative Template > Network > Offline Files. But I'm not sure which setting(s) to use
For #3 I think I can use the group policy under Computer Configuration > policies > Administrative Template > Network > Offline Files with settings for synchronize all offline files when logging on or off.
Does anyone have any ideas how to accomplish these tasks?

Only if you have a way to copy the data... Unless you use FR to redirect
back, you have to take care of copying existing data on your own.
Why not creating a GPO that simply redirects to the local profile?

You can disable offline availability on the server side (in the share
settings). Simple manual task :)
Or "do not make redirected folders automatically available offline" -
but this won't help since they ARE already available offline.

If it works, yes. But this is only supported up to XP, not since Vista
and above...
The best solution I think is a script that leverages the
win32_offlinefiles provider to check for items that are not in sync,
then triggers a sync and reports success/failure to a log or a database.
But that's way out of the scope of a GP forum.

I'm having a very similar issue, paired with iTunes not being able to get online.
iTunes shows up in processes and then hangs at 17,000 K or so -- sometimes it will start up, but that (if it occurs) is a delay of literal hours.
Pretty meticulously went through all the 'cannot connect' trouble shooting, and have uninstalled, restarted, and then reinstalled every piece of apple software; issue is just as firm. Starting in safe mode or admin mode don't fix it; signing in as a different user doesn't fix it.

I'm going to answer my own question:
Easy steps
Locate the document in the Finder.
Control/Right-Click on its icon.
Select Show Package Contents
All images and embedded objects appear in ‘Data’ folder

Documents and media files on separate drive

How do I set up my MacPro so my documents and media files (iTunes library, iPhoto library, Movies) are on a separate drive from my system/startup drive?

You can move the "Documents" folder to another drive. There is nothing special about any folders, but some applications may expect them to be in certain places, and might recreate them if they are not there. File locations are up to the individual applications. Usually you can set things in the preferences.

Please type chrome://plugins in the Chrome address bar. Then, disable 'Chrome PDF Viewer' and enable 'Adobe Reader' plug-in as shown in the screenshot below:
Now, close the Plug-ins tab and restart Chrome.

Can I Save a Single .AI Document As Multiple Files, Seperated by the Page Tiling?

There must be a way to save or output a single Adobe Illustrator file into multiple files based on the "pages" I have created in the document?
For example, if I have tiled 10 tabloid-sized pages onto a single Illustrator CS3 .AI file, is it possible to save the file in a manner that will allow all of those tiled pages to be saved as a seperated or individual files?
I guess it would be a similar concept to how in newer versions (like CS4) you can export multiple jpegs of an illustrator file that contains several artboards and it automatically assigns a number suffix to the filename since multiple files were outputted from the single ai file.
Any help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

After scanning my document and converting to Microsoft Word the size of characters are different and things like puntuation are distorted. How do I get the uniformity like the original?

Of course what lands in the Word file will differ from the viewed picture/image of text created by the scanner.
(The output of all scanners is always an image file. For an image of textual content the best output file format is TIFF.)
So you scan the hardcopy of text.
The scanner output image (picture) is brought into PDF.
At this point the only PDF page content that you can export to Word is the image (nope, no "text" just the image).
Consequently you use Acrobat's OCR feature to do OCR of the image of text.
With a decent paper source, proper resolution and a black and white image you'll get acceptable accuracy of recognition of the pictures of the characters.
(the Optical Character Recognition)
Acrobat's Searchable Image and Searchable Image (Exact) provides output that used text rendering mode 3 (no fill, no stroke for the glyphs).
So, invsible / hidden text.
The third OCR method is ClearScan.
You could play with each of the three to see what goes into a Word file.
Might try export to RTF, DOC and DOCX as well.
Anyway -- What is exported is the OCR output; Not the image of text.
And, of course, the image of the text is not the imprint on the paper that was scanned.
Each step to the way you have some deviation.
Once you have the exported PDF content in a Word file you can use Word to cleanup as desired / needed.
OR
Prop up the hardcopy and transcribe to a Word file.
