Need to logon again in new CIC0 windows

Hi all
Within SAP Gui, we run our web applications (which reside on SAP
Netweaver 7.00) from CRM's cic0 action box. These application load
successfully and we can navigate within the action box window. The
problem is, whenever a link is selected which sprawns a new window, the
new window loses the current session and asks for a new log-in. These
web apps work okay outside of SAP Gui.
Perhaps there is a SAP Gui/CRM setting for controlling sessions in
child windows within cic0 action box?
Or are there any cookie and/or session setting on the SAP Netweaver
7.00 engine which needs to be set?

Could anyone please help me with this.
From Main.java, the main user interface pops up, on clicking vf2vpExebut button, vf2vpExe.java's user interface pops up. After I process the vf2vpExe.java user interface and close it even my Main.java user interface closes.
But on clicking the exitbut in vf2vpExe.java, I need to close only the vf2vpExe.java user interface and not Main.java user interface also.

Link in PDF doc need to open in a new browser window

I am using Adobe Pro 7.0, and in the PDF that someone opens, I want links, but when a user clicks on the link, I dont want them to click and have the link open in the same window, and replace the PDF they are viewing.
Please advise on how to open a link in the previous window, or a new window (sizeable) if possible.
Tried both of these and they dont work

Sorry, since you posted in the Acrobat Scripting Forum I assumed you knew about Acrobat Scripting and were looking for a scripting solution.
When you create your link with the Link Tool, under Link Action choose "Custom link". Click "Next", go to the Actions tab and add a "Run a JavaScript" action. In the new box that pops up, put in the JavaScript I gave you.

Redirect to a new broswer window

In a java servlet class, I need to redirect to a new broswer window not
the current window, are there any way to do that?
In my condition I can't use target="_blank" and javascript. Only a java class to redirect to a new window.

Truth is
Servlet is server side programming,all it does is it send response back the client,So there is no way Servlet can open new window.
u can write JS as u know for it ...

I have an Acrobat 8 which is all I need. Installed on my new computer which is using Windows 8. Each time I open Acrobat I get a window that say unable to registrator. It gives me three options try again, redo, never register.

Probably far too old to register. Sounds like a bug, stopping the "never" selection from working. You may be stuck with it.

hello Lawrence1559, firefox does save all your bookmarks, settings and customizations into the so called [[Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data|profile folder]] .
<br>you can copy the whole profile folder on your win xp computer like this:
* press the windows-key+R and open: ''%appdata%\''
* a windows explorer windows will open up with a folder named ''Mozilla'' in it - right-click and copy that folder and paste it onto a usb drive or any other way you can transfer it to your new computer.
* on the windows 7 pc, repeat the windows-key+R shortcut and open: ''%appdata%\'' again.
*copy the Mozilla folder from your backup into the %appdata% folder of your new pc.
*you can now download and install firefox from getfirefox.com and should have the exact same setup as on your prior pc afterwards.

Now remove all your info and update the old AppleiD/iTunes account and use only that account.
You cannot transfer items between iTunes accounts.
You can redownload all the content.

As I wrote Apple will diagnose an Apple product even if it is out of warranty for free. That should be your first step to find out if the problem is the battery or something else.
Once you have Apple telling you a 7 month old battery is defective (if that turns out to be the case) then it becomes a game of horse trading. You'll need to speak to the tech and when he tells you there is nothing he can do you will need to speak to the tech manager and when she says most likely there is nothing they can do you go to the store manager, etc. It is unlikely (though possible) that they will give in easily you need to be firm, polite and let on that you're willing to accept a partial reimbursement.
So again the first step is to find out what is wrong.

I close a Firefox browser and at a later time want to open a new browser window but get message "Firefox is still running and I need to shut down before I can open a new session" I do not want to shut down as this is laborious - I can go into task manager and processes and click on Firefox and end session that way but this is not the solution. Firefox seems to be running in background but I cannot open a new session window without doing on of the above.

I just installed my printer software on my new computer, windows 8.1. I would like a separate icon on the desktop just for accessing my scanner. How can I do that. I had a separate one on my Vista Home Premium.

Hi,
Open File Explorer and browse to drive C.
Browse to C:\Program Files\HP Photosmart 6520\bin for a 32 bit OS, or C:\Program Files (x64)\HP Photosmart 6520\bin for a 64-bit OS.
Right click the HPScan.exe file and then click on Sendto > Desktop and a shortcut will be added o your desktop.

I have a new pc windows 8.1. How do I transfer my iTunes music from my old pc windows xp. I have not downloaded the iTunes store on my new computer.
We also have 2 nano and 2 iphones that use that iTunes account.

Copy the entire iTunes folder (located in My Music) from the old computer to the Music folder on the new computer.
After you move the iTunes folder, download iTunes and install it on the new computer.

So I've got it all working and it looks great in Safari and Fireworks (thanks very much!), BUT unfortunately it does not work in Explorer. What happens in Explorer is that the window basically targets "_.self" (i.e. the parent window goes away), and when you click the "Close Window" button it closes the window and you're left with nothing.
I know that Explorer has all kinds of bugs, but unfortunately it's popular -- esp. with the PC crowd whom I need to allow for. Do you or anyone know how to get this functionality working in Explorer???

Yep. I just checked the link using IE for Mac. The "pop-up" window replaces the source window (not supposed to do that). Another reason to no longer use IE on a Mac.
The javascript is valid in every other Mac browser. Just not IE, it seems.
My PC is down (I think it really died this time) so I can't test its implementation of javascripts on a PC platform.
And, you're correct. It doesn't work as it should when opened using IE on a Mac.
I "borrowed" the javascript and it must contain errors that are not so obvious on the Mac OS.
I'll look for the cause but can't promise a solution. Thank you for pointing this out. I try very hard to accommodate all browsers and OS's. This one skipped by me (no IE use in years on my Mac).
Maybe a javascript guru can "fix" my (or IE's) sloppy page code.

Mail won't show new message windows

This is weird.
I needed to email a photo to a friend. I drug the photo from iPhoto to the Mail icon in the dock and nothing happened (a new message window didn't pop up with the photo attached) I tried this 3 times and still got nothing. I swiped to another desktop (in Lion) and i could see the new message windows, all three of them, with the picture. When I landed on a space they disappeaered again. When I swipe to a new space they appear and then disappear when I land on that space.
I've shut mail down but haven't done a full restart. Any other ideas why this didn't work and then now how do I fix my problem?

I've never seen anything like this reported before. Verify/repair your disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
1. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
2. From the File menu, choose either Open Console Log, or Open System Log, or both, so that the Console application displays the contents of both system.log and console.log.
3. Try to reproduce the problem, and look at the bottom of the Console windows for messages that could have been written there as a result. Do you see anything that could provide a clue as to what's going on?
Now, try this:
1. Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accounts, and create a new user account for testing purposes.
2. Either log out of your main user account or just quit Mail so that it does not interfere with the other user account.
3. Log in as the newly created user and set up Mail anew there. Does the problem happen there as well?

On my own website vdha.us, I am now getting many words that are purple and when you mouse over them, a new spamming window opens trying to sell something. IE-9 does not do this. How do I turn this off in firefox?

I prefer to use Firefox and very seldom use IE-9. but now I might be forced to remove Firefox 4.0.1 and resort to using IE-9 because of this situation.
I don’t know how spammers can use our website to exploit their spamming, but I can only imagine the complaints I am going to get from our Board of Directors and members about this.
Can you make them stop, or at least explain how it is that anyone can do this without our permission.
We have never allowed advertisement on our website and don’t plan on starting now.

The "MySearchDial" app needs to be removed in 4 places.
1) Go to "add / remove programs" in your windows control panel select mysearchdial and remove it.
2) Open your Firefox browser then click the Firefox tab at the top left and select options. You will need to change the start page settings back to your preferred start page.
3) Again under the Firefox tab select "add-ons". In the add-ons manager you will need to remove mysearchdial from both "plugins" and "extensions"
4) In your search bar (top right of address bar" use the drop down menu and select "manage search engines". You can restore your preferred search engine and remove mysearchdial from the menu.
This should remove all the components of the nuisance hijacker and restore your browser back to your preferred settings. If you are comfortable with a more in depth removal I would also suggest going to your "programs" folder within the "C" drive of your machine and deleting the "MySearchDial" folder altogether. However, only do this AFTER you have uninstalled it from your system and if you are familiar with this type of removal.
