Need to modify Sales order Item additional tab B

Hello all,
I need to modify Sales order item additional tab B ...by removing the exisitng fields and should add some new fields ....does it have any impact on this screen could be used in any of the other transaction .......i  just wanted if we remove the fields and some new details will have some impact

Additional data B is used to add your own fields also known as custom fields in sales order.
Custom fields can be added to tables VBAK & VBAP (depending on header or item). Similarly you can remove fields if you don't require it anymore.
In short, your requirement can be met but you have to take help of ABAP consultant since it requires maintenance of user exits and modification of screens.

    Before making any modifications check "Where-used". If it is in some other program other than the VA01/02/03, then better consult your lead before modifying.
    If you do not find, go ahead and make the changes confidently.

    IMG--->MATERIALS MANAGEMENT->PURCHASING>FOREIGN TRADE AND CUSTOMS>BASIC DATA FOR FOREIGN TRADE-->DEFINE BUSINESS TRANSACTION TYPES AND DEFAULT VALUES

    I need ot modify Sales Order Header Condition (ZFRH), Condition Value (KWERT) for Transaction VA01 & VA02
    I agree there are many user exits which will modify XKOMV-KWERT structure and can populate what ever value we insert.
    But the value we insert is inserting into line item condition and the total of all line items is populating in Header .
    I need to modify only Header condition without populating Line items

    Steps to upload sales order item:
    1) Maintain extract structure (LBWE)
    2) Maintain Datasource. (LBWE)
    3) Replicate datasource in BW
    4) Assign Infosources (RSA1 - BW)
    5) Maintain comm struc/transfer rules (RSA1 - BW)
    6) Maintain infocubes and update rules (RSA1 - BW)
    7) Activate extract structures (LBWE)
    8) Delete setup tables / setup extraction (For deleting – LBWG and for setup use OLI7BW).
    9) Infopackage for delta init
    10) Set up periodic V3 update (LBWE)
    11) InfoPackage for delta load.

    1. I need to add a field in Sales order.
    Path for the same is as follows:
    VA01> Goto> Header--> Accounting tab
    2. The field will be a date field that needs to calculate date on.
    a)create a new field. ex - zchdt (chq due date)
    b)when customers enters value in Assignment,
    i.e vbak-zuonr
    after that trigger logic is
    3.vabk-kunnr = knvv-kunnr
    a)sy-date + knvv-kvgr2 (exclude sundays)
    example - 14 sept + 30 days = 14th october
    should populate value - 14th october i.e. field (zchdt)
    4. This activity needs to be triggered before the sales order is saved.
    kindly know whether this is possible or not.

    We have some specific requirement from the client - Client does n't want few  end users to see the price details in sales so they want  the condition tab to be  invisible mode in sales order item lvel only for few users  i.e the condition tab  should not be displayed  for that user  is this possible  ?
    Note : I only have idea setting few fields in  sales order  but not tabs in sales order through screen variant -SHD0

    Hi,
    There are a couple of options you can go with.
    1) You can use Transaction and Screen variants to create your own ZVariant and then put that to user profile.  Allow the user to run only with the variant you setup for the user via authorizations.
    2) Get GUIXT software by Synactive, to perform the above task for you. 
    3) If you happen to have latest version of SAP ECC i.e. 6.0 with EHP3 or above, you can go with NWBC (Netweaver Business Client).

    i want to know from where is the payment terms coming in the fields , i have checked that whatever payment term is there in SP/SH/PY they are not getting updated in the nine fields

    Payment terms are coming from Customer Master on Sales order , I did checked by removing the payment terms from customer master and created the sales order were it has not defaulted.  Updated the Customer Master with Payment Terms and created the sales order now Payment terms got defaulted.

    Hi Rajesh Banka,
    In sales order if you item category group is relevant for Billing Plan (Milestone) then you will get a billing plan tab for sales order item in Va01 T.code.
    You can go to MM02 and change item category group of material to Milestone billing in Sales org2. and then try creating order for the item using va01, go to item level you will get the billing plan tab.

    If you want to suppress the tab which is appearing at sales order line item then using t.code SHD0  and give the t.code VA01 and business object as BUS2032 and then select the line item data and then you can suppress the fields as per your requirement

    There is an API to update the Related Item on the line level in the Sales Order.
    PROCESS_ORDER API can be used for this purpose. It is part of OE_ORDER_PUB.
    Below are the fields on line table type that will be assigned to create an order line with related item and original ordered item.
    ORIGINAL_ORDERED_ITEM : Original Item
    ORDERED_ITEM : Related Item
    ITEM_RELATIONSHIP_TYPE : Type of Relationship.
    Please go ahead and try to create it like this. I am pretty sure that it will get the order created with related items.
    Note: Please make sure the profile option
    OM: Enable Related Items
    should be enabled.

    The path for configuring these material groups is:
    SPRO>Logistics-General>Materail master>Settings for key fields>Data relevant to sales and distribution-->Define material groups.
    Here you can define the material groups and for each group you can define the values also. by double clicking on the groups.
    No,It willnot have any impact on the business process at all.

  • Sales Order item should not be allowed to modify after doing PGI.

    Dear all SAP experts,
    When i create a sales order say for 10 pieces. Now I have created the delivery for all the 10 pieces & also created the invoice.
    My requirement is when i create a delivery for all 10 pieces then after doing the PGI the system should make the sales order line item & qty "grey" - I should not be able to change the sales order item in any respects.
    If not from delivery then when i save the invoice for that sales order then I should not be able to modify the sales order item & qty.

    I think there can be a problem in copy control
    In copy control at item level, in teh item category, ensure that the field "Update document flow" and the Pos/neg quantity are properly updated.
    Update document flow shoudl be ticked on
    Pos/neg quantity should be positive.
    Before doing this , check teh document flow of the sales order. Do the same after doign this configuration. Note the difference.

    I am hoping that someone could help me by providing me with how to implement the following 2 requirements in the SD order and in the purchase order.
    1. I am wanting to add a custom field to the SD sales order item copying a value from the vendor customer master.
    2. I then want to add a custom field to the purchase order item and copy the value from my custom field in 1. to this new custom field..

    For the first requirement you can use the USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in report MV45AFZZ.
    For the second, as I think that you will create a RFQ you can try to use the enhancement MEREQ001.
