Need to orient the Android ePrint app screen to tablet mode.
I need to use the Android Eprint app in tablet orientation, as I am using it on a Transformer Prime, with keyboard attached. Unfortunately the app defaults to smartphone mode (portrait) which makes it dificult to interract with it with the keyboard attached. Any suggestions?

I have done as much research as I can do in regards to setting up the HP ePrint App Email Accounts. If you do not see your email information listed here, feel free to post it below or contact your internet service provider, phone or email company, or whomever else that might know this. I am certain there are many more that could be added but this is a rather extensive list. I hope you find what you need to finish setting up your email applications.
I have noticed information differs from website to website but as I have learned over time, with domain masking and companies buying out other companies, I just researched all the information I could find and that way if one of the hostnames or ports don’t work, then you can continue to view further into this page to see if that information is the same. At that point, if you can’t find what you need here, I would say you have done all that you can do before contacting the appropriate support team for your email information.
Most of the links are active and the ones listed below should send you directly the pages I pulled this information from but only a few of them were from the actual support sites themselves (Apple support was vague, as well as Microsoft, Macintosh, and commonly used ISPs). Save yourself some time by searching here first. I hope you find what you need in this one-stop-shop and if you get an email address not listed here please post it below and I will add it to this original document.
Lastly, as this information is from forum-based and other unofficial websites, I would like to add that this is a copy/paste/edit-for-easy-reading document I created in my spare time. This is a very long document so I do recommend using the search and find quick keys to search for the email you need but the top part of this has definitions as to what servers, ports, and hostnames are and the basic setup in case you need to know what these options are used for and what they mean.

For networks, a port means an endpoint to a logical connection. The port number identifies what type of port it is. Here are the default email ports for:

Set Up POP or IMAP E-Mail on an Android G1 How do I set up POP or IMAP E-Mail on an Android Device?
From the home screen, tap Applications > Settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Manual setup.
On the Incoming settings screen, in the Protocol drop-down menu, select IMAP or POP3. We suggest you select IMAP because it supports more features.
In the Email address and Username text boxes, enter your full e-mail address, for example [email protected], and then select Next. Your user name is the same as your e-mail address.
In the Password text box, enter your password.

Also, when im viewing websites and i find something i wish to print, same again, if i simply click on the print option at the top right of the screen nothing happens... the only way I can print is if i copy the weblink of the site page then click on my HP eprint app and paste the web link, then select print, it prints off fine.. but its it such a pain to keep copying and pasting links or screen dumping emails just to print...Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. Using the Android Reader app, why is the signature option greyed out?
I have a client that has enlisted me to create 3 fillable PDF forms. I used FormsCentral to create these fillable forms, then I saved them as PDFs to my Dropbox. I opened the Adobe Reader app on my Tablet, and access the forms. As for the client, they are home builders, and these 3 forms are 3 different stages of the building process. They are using them to interact with the new homeowner. They want to do this on Samsung Note 10.1 tablets with Verizon data. There are 3 issues I am faced with fixing:
1. The signing process is quite a process. Meaning too many clicks to setup and apply a digital signature according to the customer. And that is on a PC, because I am unable to use the "signature" function - the button is greyed out. Why is that?
2. Once we resolve the above issue, then will there be a way to "lock" the form so that the customer's responses and selections are unchangeable? If so, how?
3. Once the form is signed and "locked" (if possible), what is the simplest way to send the form via e-mail? I ask because they want there to be a way to setup the form to e-mail copies to the addresses that are entered into an e-mail field on the form. Sort of "auto-populate" the addresses as well as be able to set a predetermined address (back to their office) so that the results may be sent via mobile instantly upon completion.
I know that is a lot to ask. Your help would be most appreciated!

You used FormsCentral to create fillable forms and exported to PDF. When exporting FormsCentral forms to PDF forms, FormsCentral adds "extended rights" to PDF forms so that users can fill out the PDF forms in Adobe Reader (which is a PDF viewer, not a PDF editor).
The current version (11.5.0) of Adobe Reader for Android does not allow signatures to be added to any "Reader Extended" PDF documents (including forms). We are actively investigating and trying to resolve the problem.
(2) Is there a way to "lock" a PDF form?
You can "flatten" a PDF form after the form has been filled out and signed by a customer. Once flattened, it's not possible to change filled data or signatures. When you try to email a filled PDF form (optionally with a signature), Adobe Reader for iOS will present the E-mail Document dialog with two options: "Send Original Document" and "Send Flattened Copy". You can choose the "Send Flattened Copy" option.
Unfortunately, the feature has not been supported in Adobe Reader for Android yet.
(3) What is the easiest way to send a "flattened" copy via email?
Because the issues 1 & 2 above have not been resolved, you are not able to do this in Adobe Reader for Android. However, you can do this in Adobe Reader for iOS.
First, you need to add a Submit button to your PDF form. I am not sure if you can do this in FormsCentral. But you can use Adobe Acrobat (a paid product) to add a Submit button.
Setting action buttons > Add a submit button
When your customer taps the Submit button in the PDF form, Adobe Reader (for iOS - for now) will present thee same E-mail Document dialog. Once the "Send Flattened Copy" option is selected, Reader will launch the default Mail app and auto-populate email address(es) specified for the Submit button action.

Printing a manual duplex printing is not supported by the HP ePrint app or AirPrint as well, it can only be done with printers who provide automatic two-sided printing.

Thanks for using our forums! While there are ways to get contacts from your phone onto your tablet, the Convoy series of phones is not capable of syncing directly with the Verizon Messages service. It is capable of using the Backup Assistant service. You'll find this option under Contacts in the menu. Once you have backed up the contacts, you can use your online My Verizon account to export contacts to either a Google or iCloud account, which would allow you to access them from your iPad at a later time via sync. Here's a link with some useful information on how to use the Backup Assistant service.

Printing from Motorola Xoon tablet to Officejet Pro 8600 Plus via Android ePrint app
Hello!
My Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer
- is connected to my Laptop (Win7 64bit) via USB cable
- is connected to my router via WLAN
- is configured to use ePrint with a registered mail address
My Motorola Xoom tablet3
- has Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4 installed as operating system
- has the HP ePrint Home&Biz app installed
ePrint
- ePrint app is configured
- the app identified/shows my printer as it should
- I successfully registered to ePrint on the HP website
- I am using a registered mail address for connection between app and ePrint online
As soon as I select a document on my tablet and try to print it,
- the app shows up a "rendering document" message for a short time
- a preview of the document should show up, but it doesn't!!
- I can see the selected document as "pending" print job
- no documents will be printed
- pending documents can't be deleted and remain in the tablet's display
So, I desparately need help! Why does my printer not receive or print the documents from the Xoom tablet?
Thanks a lot for your help!I understand that It was not a problem with the connection. When dealing with wireless networks, it is always a good idea to set a static IP. It makes things more stable. The reason I told you to enter Google's DNS was not to connect you to Google. All a DNS does is create a pathway to the internet. Once any device finds the internet via the DNS it then goes where it is supposed to. It just uses the DNS as a referance for the internet. Web services should work fine with your router DNS, I have just had more success using Google's public DNS.
You never mentioned wether you did all the power cycling that I asked you too. I know it does not make sense, but power cycling everything on the network so it can all reconnect fresh, solves most issues like this one. However, if you have power cycled everything and you are still having issues, then try removing the Xoom and the printer from the network, and reconnecting them. Sometime, you have to completely remove the printer and mobile device from the networks and reattach them before they will comunicate.
If none of that works, you may need to call the cloud services department to have them take a look at the issue. You can find the number by logging into your ePrintCenter.com acount and looking under the help section. When you get an agent on the phone make sure to tell them everything you have done, so they do not have you do the same steps. Honestly at this point if it is not working the next step is a semi-full reset, which will cause you to loose your ePrint email address, as well as reset everything back to factory settings on the printer. I am not allowed to share how to semi-full the printer via the forums, however the phone agents can walk you through one.

Cannot change paper type from Android ePrint app when printing photos
I have the ePrint mobile app installed on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) and have a Photosmart 7520 printer at home. When I'm at home, I can see the same printer listed twice from ePrint mobile app on my phone, once via ePrint (with the printer's email address shown) and the other via wireless (with the printer's IP address shown). If I were to print a photo from ePrint mobile app, if I select my printer via wireless connection, I can see the option to change the paper type, i.e. either the plain paper or photo paper; but if I select the same printer via ePrint, the option to change paper type no longer appears in the app. When I'm on the go, I can only see my printer via ePrint and I cannot print a photo on plain paper due to the absence of the "paper type" option. However, if I were to print a document via ePrint mobile app, the option to change paper type does show up. So to sum it up: 1) Print photo from ePrint mobile app via wireless -- the "paper type" option is present;2) Print photo from ePrint mobile app via ePrint -- the "paper type" option is absent;2) Print document from ePrint mobile app via ePrint -- the "paper type" option is present. This cannot be by design, correct? Thanks.

You are correct, this is by design. This is due to the communication method being used. When using the ePrint app via ePrint it's sending the information via an email and limits the options available.

Game Center is installed in the 3GS firmware. You may need to just Update to the current 3GS firmware in iTunes for it to be automatically installed.

If you have used Mac OS 9 fonts on the machine, move the contents of the folder /System Folder/Fonts/ to /Library/Fonts/ before deleting the Mac OS 9 system.

Do I need to reinstall the OS because my screen looks like this?
The link below is a screenshot of my laptop screen. My MacBook has been doing this every 3-4 weeks for the past year or so. When it does this, sometimes it'll beep every couple of seconds too. It won't allow me to control the mouse or keyboard anymore. The only thing I can do is hold down the power button to restart the laptop. This may or may not be relevant but I upgraded my MacBook with RAM I bought from Best Buy a month or so before this started happening and I had OS X Lion at the time. Any idea on what's going on here?
