Need to print form in DINA4 page format, but in form it is specified ANY

Hi all.
There a form which has ANY page format in its basic settings.
But I need to print this form in DINA4 page format manually.
When print the form I am getting a spool. Let me know whether I can change thus to DINA4 format and print the same in DINA4 format on printer?
Please provide inputs.

Hi,
You can change it but you have to check the windows whiche are defined in that page can fit in the Diana4 if it does not fit you have to adjust the windows size to fit into your required page format.

Printing Problem in New Page Format

Hi Everybody,
              I have an issue lying long time in my Company.
        Abap person asked me to create a new page format with new page sizing and all. i created it. this is actually for Voucher printing which does not require A4 size. so that i specified specific paper size in that.
     Voucher is Printing in the Specified Size, ok. But, after printing it, the printer automatically Rolls till the end of the paper.(Probably this would have taken A4 by Default)
     the issue is, we need to stop this rolling and we need to make this printing as specified.since it is continuous printing, every time we cant manually rotate the page.(Printer Epson Dot Matrix)
Is this either can be sorted out by ABAP or Basis Person.
   What can be done from Our Basis Side?

I am using Acrobat Reader 11.0.10 . I cant print mixed originals and also I cannot print letter size correctly . printing of first two pages ok but the rest gets cut off at the top

How can I print from MAC with Acrobat Reader. I can't seem to get it to print correctly , first two pages of letter size works ok after the remaining pages get moved up and the printing is cut off.

I arrived here looking for a solution! And while reading your post the penny dropped that I didn't have a serious problem. I have a booklet of 112 pages and all I needed to do was re-order the pages as printed so that 1 is followed by a sheet with 2 on the under-face but same side and so on. The pages had printed back to front and needed flipping. But then I have a duplex printer and maybe that makes a difference. Is it to do with your manual duplexing and the order that the second pass is presented to the printer. As my duplex sheets effectively needed flipping over each one I'm wondering if you can solve your problem with a little experimentation and re-ordering before your second pass.

Need Check Printed on Bottom of Page

Have to print out checks on the bottom of the page.
Does anyone know how to fix the check in the .rtf so it'll always print on the bottom?

Need guidance printing 4 photos - 1 page

Hi All,
I am asking this on behalf of my wife, using iPhoto 6 on her 17" iMac. I have never attempted this, but then I have iPhoto 5 on my Mac.
How do I print 4 photos on one 8X10?? I have brought four photos together in the iPhoto window, but I can't get Print to do more than one on the page. From reading other posts here, I found out about the Print Dialogue and the need to change a drop down, but I'll be damned if I can find that. Any body care to help with this? Thank you.

I have a Canon iP6700 printer. This is how I do it:
In Page Setup, select the paper size as A4.
Then, in iPhoto, choose the four photos and hit 'print.'
The 'Print' options are:
Printer
Presets
Paper
Style
So, I select my Printer, my Preset is 'photo on photo paper',
Paper I choose again A4 and
Style, I use N-Up.
Then, below those choices, a dropdown appears to select how many photos per page.
I set it to 4, and I can see in the small preview on the left, that all four photos will be on the one page.
See if you can set yours up something like mine.....it works!

Batch printing - page format issue

I am creating a smartform in a batch job and sending it to various printers throughout our company. The form is going to the printer but it attempts to print in the A4 (DINA4) page format. I have the smartform set to print (under the Form Attributes -> Output options tab) in Letter format though.
I am passing output_options to the smartform FM. The field that I am setting is the printer (output_options-tddest). output_options is of type ssfcompop. I would imagine that page format would be a field in that structure but I can't find it. Do you know of any other way to change the page format in a batch job via ABAP code?

The field in the ABAP code is output_options-tddest (that gets filled with the 4 character printer code) and the following:
output_options-tdimmed = 'X'. "Print immediatly
output_options-tddelete = 'X'. "Delete after printing
In the Smartform I went to the Form Atributes page and selected the page format on the output options tab. Then when I created the batch job in SM36 I added a step (an ABAP program) and assigned a printer to that step.

We use DINA4 page format for most of the times.
check with that format and see.I think page format doesn't have much effect on the printer.
Check the print out on 2 to 3 printers and see.

Printing A3 page format using ABAP List from SAP is a problem...

Hi Experts,
I am trying to print a standard output (ABAP List) A3 page size from SAP.
I used SWIN, SAPWIN, I9HP4 device types, but none of them worked.
I created page format type ZYEVMIYE 290MM 420MM and the page format L120, W200. In order to make it usable with page size is A3. Unfortunately this did not work either.
The behaviour of the problem is when I tried to print with the device types that mentioned above then printer indicator comes to an error. And nothing comes out from the printer.
Just to be on the safe side I made a test from windows self test, it resulted success with A3 page size format. So from this point of the view I got a thought that somehow SAP (selected device types) is not able to send correct signal to Printer for page size A3, because on the printer information screen displays load Tray2 for A4 this is showing that SAP sends Printer a signal for page format A4.
I need help on how to make SAP (selected device type) send a correct signal to Printer in order to printout A3 page size format.

At last i got a Solution to my Question.
The Problem is that in my SAP-Code they have been translated the PDF into 255 string.But i am retreiving using 132 string.So, i resolved in this way.

Hi Vinayak,
Even though there are no specific page formats available for landscape layout, you can use a standard DINA4 page format and put the page as land scape layout.
This can be done in the Page's Out put Tab, there is an option Print Attributes in which you can select either Portrait format or Landscape format.

sapscript does not support multiple page formatting where as smartform does.
Multiple page formating is nothing havinfg different page formats in a form.
eg..
sapscript zform has 3 pages..
1 page has portrait
2 page has landscape format and 3rd page has landascape.
this is not possible with sapscript..it tends to error. however, you can do so in smartform. Also this is sometime possible in sapscript by creating different form for each page and using the same print program.

Conditionaly calling a page in adobe print form

Hi All,
I have a requirement where I need to conditionally print body pages.
In some scenario, i need to print say first body page, in some others second body page
and also both body page in a scenario.
I have two body pages. I tried hiding the pages conditionally using .presence = "invisible"
at page level. Data gets hidden, but I am getting blank pages .
Can you please provide your suggestions how to go ahead with the requirement.

Good morning,I'm currently using Crystal Reports 8.5 (I thought I was on 9.0) and am trying to get a report to always print the mailing information on an even numbered page.Here is the deal. The report for the most part will be 2 pages, the first containing the details and some summary information and the second containing the mailing information. The customer that is using the report prints it out on special paper, so that the mailing information needs to print on even numbered pages.The report is set up with several groups, one being on the person's address, which is where I have put the mailing information. I also added the mailing information to one of the details sections (one that is before where the actual details print) and is suppressed using the following formula: PageNumber Mod 2 <> 0. I have also added a formula to the New Page After: PageNumber Mod 2 = 0. This seems to always work when the report goes to page 2 while printing out the details. My problem now, which would be the case most of the time when this situation occurs, is when the report goes to page 2 while printing any of the 3 group footers that have summary information in them. I tried using the same logic as with the details and it is hit and miss on whether or not it will work. I have added the mailer information in a footer section above the footer and added the same suppression and new page after logic and sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. When it doesn't work, the mailer does not print and the group footer prints on page 2.Does any one have any ideas?Thanks in advance,Lauren ETA: I have tried to debug it and this is what I found. When I take off the suppression formula so that the mailer always prints and add a pagenumber field to the group footer it displays 2.

You could try adding
WhilePrintingRecords;
in front of the PageNumber Mod 2 .... Statements
This may not work in 8.5, but it is worth a shot.
If that doesn't work, you may need to consider a subreport.

Print the report on page has width larger than height and not landscape mode

Hi,
I'm trying to print report on page (Width: 18cm, Height: 13cm) which the width larger than the height.
The problem is windows keeps changing the page oreintation to landscape and when I change it back to portrait its changing the width to 13cm and height to 18cm.
I'm using dot matrix printer to print the report, if i put Landscape , printer is printing the text in horizontal.
Already i have tried to setup the custom for on printer, and used custom page size but it is changing to landscape.
I need to print the report with out preview, direct print top printer, NO PDF....

After testing the issue in my environment, I can reproduce it. When I set (Width: 18cm, Height: 13cm) as the Report Page size, it would automatically convert Orientation from Portrait to Landscape. Because the Orientation displayed is dependent on the page
width and page height of the report.
But in my scenario, the Orientation option just change the Width and Height sizes, it couldn’t affect the text rotation. I guess this issue can be caused by the printer and printer driver, please try to update them. Reference:

Do you want the report to show up and then
the browser print window to show up?
If so, then in the unstructured template, call the window.print() method using the onLoad event for the body tag. When the report loads in the browser, you will get the browser print window (in Netscape). In IE, the print starts automatically.
