Need to re-download CS3 after mac crash. It was in My Downloads last week, and now it's gone.

I logged in to Adobe earlier this month and was about to re-download the CS3 Web Premium onto my new hard drive, but I didn't have the time (8 hours it said it would take). I re-logged in today and now it isn't showing the downloads. I can no longer click on the order #, but was able to last week. Did they remove them in the last week?!? Is it because I hadn't logged in to Adobe in awhile, and by re-logging in last week, it noticed and deleted them? Please help. This is for a small school and we can't afford to buy a new product. The CS3 worked fine until my computer crashed. Thanks.

Help! Just did the Update (ML 10.8.4) after receiving a new HD since mine crashed last week and the shop didn't update it back to Mavricks which I had previously done...and now my Mac won't let me past the log in screen even with correct password entered. It just spins like I'm logging in and then goes back to the user log in screen. I did the process where I restarted and pressed control S and created a new user and password, but once created same issue and can't get passed that screen.
Super frustrated and any help is appreciated!

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.

I had a disc of pictures in my imac and tried to update the software to 10.9, after realizing the disc was in there i ejected it and now its stuck on the os x page. any info of how to get away from that screen and onto my normal pages?

I'm not really sure what you mean by "the os x page". It sounds like the installation did not complete.
I would try this:
hold down the power button until the computer shuts down
take out the disk with the pictures!
restart and see if it will boot up
if it boots up normally, I'd probably try to repair your HD: Boot into your recovery partition (hold down ⌘R at restart until you see the Apple symbol), go to Disk Utility, and repair your hard drive. While you're there, repair permissions too. OSX Tips Using the Recovery HD
Then I'd try to reboot and run the installer again. I think it's a good idea to do the installation in safe mode : Mac OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? .
if it won't boot up normally, I'd try booting from the recovery partition and repairing your HD.
if it won't boot into the recovery partition, your options are:
Try to repair your hard drive with internet recovery: OS X: About OS X Recovery
If you have access to another (working) Mac and a USB thumb drive, download Recovery Disk Assistant, which you can use to repair your hard drive or reinstall OSX: OS X: About Recovery Disk Assistant
Try to boot into single user mode and repair your hard drive: Repair Your Hard Disk in Single User Mode | Everything Macintosh

Hi I have Windows XP on a HP Pavillion. I have itunes well had it until my computer crashed. Then all my music is gone. I had 30GB of music loaded and $5000 of music purchased from itunes. How do I get that back on my PC? Did I just lose $5000. All this music is stored on my ipod video 30GB model. So how do I get this back on my PC or did I just lose $5000.

The easiest way is to restore from your backups. You did make backups of that $5000 worth of purchased music, didn't you?
If you didn't, then it is possible to transfer your tracks from an iPod back to iTunes. It's been covered here a number of times already, but again:
First, you need to prevent automatic synchronzation with a blank copy of iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer, click "cancel" when iTunes presents the dialog box offering to synchronize to the iPod. Or hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys in Windows. This should stop the iPod from auto synching with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 25 seconds depending on your computer.
Then if you're using iTunes 7, you can then copy music that you purchased from the iTunes Store back to iTunes directly. Just use the Transfer Purchases From iPod command under the iTunes File menu.
If you're not using iTunes 7 or want to copy back other tracks, the easiest way will be to search VersionTracker for "iPod". You'll find a number of utilities that can transfer your tracks and your playlists from your iPod back to your PC.
It's also possible to do this manually, but the procedure is rather involved. If you're interested, though, see this thread:

I had download Quicken to my iMac and downloaded Microsoft Office for Mac. We moved from one state to another and now there are none of my downloads present. I desparetly need both. Can anyone help me with this situation? I've never had this happen with a PC and I'm new to Apple.

I know this may seem like a stupid question, but did you check your downloads folder? Or the Applications folder? Some Apps will go to your Applications folder others will stay in Downloads until you run the .dmg file.

Actually, you cannot download Snow Leopard. You downloaded a Snow Leopard updater.

The movie is from iTunes. You would think that a download from iTunes to a MacBook could be watched on an HDTV using Apple TV without any headaches bit this does not appear to be the case.

Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.
