Will not allow me to download illustrator?

Hi, im on Windows 7, Toshiba laptop, and I went to download the trial of illustrator, it said that I needed to download the Adobe Creative Cloud, then it comes up with Adobe Application Manager, when I run this after a tenth of downloading it comes up with: "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the download process (Error code: A12E5)" anyone know a way of fixing this or downloading Illustrator without the need for Adobe Creative Cloud... Would be very Greatful! Thanks

What connection are you on? Sounds like it's simply breaking down, which usualyl happens with al lsorts of wireless connections... If so, try a stationary cable bound download.

Heaps of trouble downloading Illustrator trial CC.

I am an Abobe member and have downloaded the creative cloud and apparently the trial too but it is not in my files and I cannot open it on my laptop. I have tried to download the program again with no luck. How can I directly contact Adobe I just want to talk to someone directly.

After downloading you need to double click on the downloaded .dmg file to install the software.
Alternatively you can try downloading Illustrator CC Software from the direct download links available at: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2014-direct-download-links.html
Please make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

Downloaded Illustrator 5, but no tools or anything

Hi, I just downloaded Illustrator 5, but I can't seem to find my tools or any toolbar.
I tried going to Windows and Preferences, but it's not there.
Can someone please help?

First, you do not have Illustrator 5, you have Illustrator 15, aka Illustrator CS5. Second, press the Tab key. If that doesn’t work, select a workspace from the Window > Workspace submenu. If that won’t do it, try deleting preferences. If that won’t solve it, you’ll need to reinstall.

in creative cloud does it show as up to date? if not "Update illustrator"
if it does I would think about uninstalling illustrator and re-installing.

I was having trouble downloading illustrator and was told to download the application manager. How do I do that? I am confused and need help. Also-
when trying to download Illustrator I got a massage that reads "You are running an operating system that illustrator no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements below for a full list of supported platforms."
I am not sure what that means and how to go about downloading and using the programs? do I really have to update my computer in order to use the programs? Would I have to purchase a new operating system? that is something that I don't know if I can afford.
Please let me know how to go about it?
The whole proccess seems a little complecated and I am hoping to be able to actually download the application before my free trial ends..

Need to re-install Illustrator

The problem started Friday - when opening a few selected files we just created - I got "unknown error has occurred". Today, Monday, I go to start a new document/file and click on NEW and get the same error. I click the "OK" button, the error pops back up, I click the "OK" button again and then the new file window opens for me to elect size etc and start the job. Haven't read anything like this on the boards - so I am thinking I need to re-install Illustrator 6 on my computer. How do I do that when I purchased the downloadable file from Adobe? Where do I go to re-install the software? Do I have to pay again?

System crashed so need to re-download all apps - where are they?

Following a power cut last night my SSD system disk was zapped and I had to reinstall Windows 7 today. While no data was lost, unfortunately the Download folder was on that drive and all the Cloud install files were there. I therefore need to re-download and re-install all the apps I use - Manager, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreameweaver for starters. However I can't find where to download them from. Can anyone help please?

I see Adobe Creative Cloud purhase under your account, login to www.creative.adobe.com and download your fav app.

This is why the question rkaufmann87 asked about your model is so important:

The list covers the early iMacs with Intel processors that shipped with either OS 10.4 or 10.5 and have only two RAM slots. As you can see, some have limits to what version of OSX you can install. If the step rkaufmann requests does not narrow down your model, you can do one more thing.
While the "About this Mac" window is open, click the "More Info..." button at the bottom of that window to get this (assuming you are really running OS 10.5.8 as shown in your profile):
The code I've indicated with the red arrow corresponds to the codes in the second column on the chart. Post the code your computer reports--again don't post a serial number.
If your iMac shipped with only 1GB RAM, I fear it is one of the earliest models that cannot be upgraded all the way to Yosemite.
