Need to record my professor's powerpoint--without him seeing it!

Hey guys, my professor is basically a giant toolbag and doesn't distribute his powerpoint slides (even though all the other professor's at my grad school do give out the PPTs prior to class). It would be fantastic if I could somehow discreetly take snapshots of each slide as he goes along with a camera of some sort plugged into my MBP. Here's the requirements for this job:
1. Must be high enough resolution to read reasonably-sized font (28pt) on a 20 ft X 20ft screen, about 20 feet away, up at about a 30 degree angle from the laptop.
2. must take the shots without making a cheeseball sound
3. must take the shots without flashing or anything like what photobooth does right before snapping shot
4. the laptop must (obviously) be facing me and not the professor
Any ideas of a hardware/software solution that would do this? Currently my MBP's built-in isight + photobooth is a no go because (a) i bet it's too low res (I could be wrong, i'll test this), (b) photobooth flashes the screen white before snapping the shot, (c) you have to turn the laptop towards the professor side to take the photo.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and believe me I'll consider even the most ridiculous ideas, so throw them at me without caution.
P.S. I really don't want to hear anyone lecture me on respecting his intellectual property and whatnot, because the school requires that all lectures be audio-recorded anyways, so this is a foregone conclusion. And I pinkyswear I won't publish his content online or write a book based off his lectures. I'm a student with a learning disability and I don't the time/ability to furiously write/listen/pay attention all at the same time. In a nutshell: let's keep this thread on topic, kthnx.

Here are my ideas in response to your new questions:
(1) I don't know any way to keep photo-booth (PB) hidden while still taking photos.
Photo Booth does not work unless it is the foreground application, and, as you note, it only makes one photo while minimized. After first picture, I find I need to bring PB back to foreground, click "Effects", and then "Normal", to unfreeze PB for the next capture.
(2) iSight is not a zoom camera. Zoom is one of the reasons I suggested a separate digital camera in my previous response.
iGlasses may let you zoom your iSight image in the way you need, but it does so digitally, so image quality is effected. You can try the demo to see if it does what you want before you buy it.
(3.a) To transform your trapezoidal images back to the square shape of the original slides, you can use the perspective correction feature of any full-featured image editor like PhotoShop or PhotoShop Elements. The process is simple, but, unless you know a way to AppleScript the workflow, I cannot suggest a way to automate it. I do not know a way to do it with my PhotoShop Elements File > Process Multiple Files... menu command.

(3.b) I have never hear of OCR software doing the kinds of things you mention. Some well-known Mac OCR apps are ReadIris, OmniPage Pro X, and VueScan. Thoroughly examine their features, system requirements, and compatibility before you buy. You may want to contact the developers to ask your specific questions relative to their individual applications before spending your money.

I think isn't posible. Only 3 ideas:
1ª, make other table "table2", similar to your actual table.
     table2[] = yourtable[].
     delete table2 where key <> 'A'.
     describe table table2 lines contA.
    But depending the amount of data, you may have problems in performance or memory consumption...
2ª, make other table, only with the keys fields and a count field,
    data begin table2
       key_field1,
       cont type i.
    end data.
   when you append lines to yourdata, make a collect to this table:
    table2-keys = yourtable-keys.
    table2-cont = 1.
   collect table2.
   But only works if you can modify the program where data is appended, and you may be carefull when data is deleted :-(...
3ª if your data if filled in a select, you may fill the table2 of point 2ª, making a similar select but:
   select keyfields count( * ) into table table2
from ...
where (the same you have to fill your original table...)
   group by keys.
But you have the same problem is data is deleted later...
I hope that any of the three is useful for you...

Need to record what I hear from speakers with other program

I need to record what I hear with a program that can record a programs video and audio.
Is there any way to set speakers as the recording source, instead of mic, or can I set it to both speakers and mic?
If not, then we need an upgrade to our audio mixer that allows this to be done so we can use programs like Snagit or Camtasia to record our music programs playing. The way it is now, I can only set the mic as the recording source, so I miss the audio the program is playing but get the video of the program playing it.

I tried to do some research and it looks like you need to have an external device and its drivers, such as an external microphone, installed on the computer to record audio that can be saved as a sound file. Another Suggestion is to try an auxiliary spliter for your headphones and external speakers?
What software are you using to record your game?

You are absolutely right, this is simply not supported.
Anyhow, in most cases this might also not make too much sense, as the access to the server often (almost "normally") goes via some kind of proxy; in such a case, one would only see one (or two or so if the proxy is clustered itself) IP address in the logs.
On the other hand, just in such scenarios, the proxy is normally able to forward the original client IP address as an additional header variable. If this is the case, then "rfo.rh(X-Forwarded-For)" could do the trick.

I need to record a video while music app is playing

HI, I couldn't find the answer anywhere, and maybe it's not a common question.
I need to record a video with the camera app, but I need the music app (or whatever app, like spotify) to keep playing the song in the background, because I want to record the song as well. But the default behavior, when you choose video mode, is to stop the music from playing.
I am asking this because the iPad is the only thing I got with me at the moment, so I need everything done with it (the music playing and the camera recording)
Is that even possible, or the default behavior cannot be bypassed?

The designer is usually someone who just handles the user interface portion of the code. The developer would handle core functionality. I assumed you were the developer and the designer was the designer. You are the client and your "designer" is the developer.
Ideally, you should create a business account so that you can add someone to your team. That is the way it is supposed to work. Otherwise, you will have to ask for the final source code so that you can build and submit the app yourself. You should always have the source code regardless. You should always perform the submission under your own account too. Otherwise, it is the developer's app, not yours.
Sharing accounts is against the Apple Developer agreement anyway. The App Store Gold Rush is over. Now it is mostly zombie apps and competing fraudsters. You don't want to give someone access to your iTunes account. You really don't want to give someone access to your bank account either.
The best solution would be to convert your account to a business account. You may be able to have the developer submit the app and then transfer it to you.

If you want to record a Webinar, you will probably need screen capture software. Every recent Mac comes with QuickTime Player X, which will do this. Just click FIle/New Screen Recording. Then click on the red button to start recording.

Need help recording live drums on seperate tracks.

I used to be a professional recording engineer, and as such took pride in knowing my way around a console. But with GB I am stumped.
I need to record a live drummer, and subsequently place each drum on a seperate "track" as when recording analog.
Being totally new to hard disc recording, means learning all over again. Drums are set & miced, what do I need to make this happen (or is it even possible in GB)?
Watched the seminar for Logic, and sure enough there was a drum kit properly recorded on individual tracks, but they gave no detailed explination of how that was done.

Basically you select the channels for each track in
the DAW. In this case GB.
At the bottom of the 'track info' window on your real
instrument (mic) tracks use the 'input' pulldown menu
to assign channels for each mic for each track you
wish to record on.
In case you are not familiar enough with GB.
If the track info window is not open. You can open it
by double clicking on the track, or under 'Track'
menu use: Show Track Info.
Or keystroke: 'Command I'.
The available channels will be available and show in
the input pulldown menu.
So basically you will want an interface with the
right I/0.
Depending on what you may have been used to in the
past for analog quality.
You may wish to take some time to research what's
available for the right amount of I/O with good pre's
and conversion. There is definitely a line of
demarcation in the quality of analog circuits and
digital converters and clock.
It may or may not matter to you, I don't know but
judging from your past and post maybe worth a
mention. However, I don't know to what standards you
wish to work in.
Standards such as Alan Parsons, Geoff Emerick, and Jeff Lynne.
Also if you want to use outboard analog while
tracking with an interface you may want to have
insert I/O available.
And of course if you are wanting to use bussing
sends, complete editing, etc. within your DAW you
will want start looking at other DAW's like Logic or
PT or DP, etc.

lol .. well, your initial question was "where is the Mic" ... If you have a sound on your PC, it is lilely in a .WAV or .MP3 format .. have you tried searching for the file on your PC? If you can find it and it's in either of those formats, all you have to do is copy the file to your phone (to the directory called media\audio) ... Otherwise, to 'record' it to the phone, you need a recorder APP from market ... there are several to try that are Free .. not sure which ones would record & convert it to a Ringtone though ... what specifically are you wanting to do with the Sound you're trying to record?

THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED FOR ME.
When I opened this pop-up to view the settings (File > Page Setup > "Format & Options": Scale ), the Scale value was 40%. Changing it to 100% corrected the issue I observed.
To my knowledge, I have not been inside this pop-up window before to set the Scale option. Could this value be affected by other actions within Firefox? I noticed this while using v12 which was installed 24Apr2012.I know it worked correctly since that installation, so why did the Scale value change?
UPDATE: I just realized that the Scale option in print preview sets the Scale value in the settings. NOTE TO ALL: This is a sticky setting, not just a setting for a specific output request.

MiniDisplayPort-to-? adapter, available at Apple stores and Best Buy and antplace selling Apple. Plugs into the Thunderbolt or "lightning bolt" port.
Replace ? with HDMI or VGA or DVI.
Know that TVs spave pixels further apart, for viewing at 10-15 ft instead of close as monitors do. Makes viewing small text at 10 ft difficult sometimes.
Another poster also recently reported that using the mouse on the external display is "laggy". Some models of Mac have only a graphics card integrated into the CPU (which can be challenged by running a big external TV) and some have a "discrete" or "second" graphics card that handles TVs better.
