Need to reload firefox as my default brower. How do I do this?

Got a nasty bug and among other things it ate up my browser. Was using Firefox. Can I just download a new version?

Did you import an iPhoto Library from the old Hard Drive? Do you still have that old Library?
The way to clear out a Library is to Export the photos - Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.
For the annoying start-up message:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

You are talking about 30 Firefox Profiles on the same Windows Logon User Account?
I never saw that as a limit myself. I had 53 Profiles at one time, although I haven't done that since Firefox 3.0. It was causing an extended launch time and I started using "remote" Profiles that weren't controlled by the Profile Manager and weren't in the '''profiles.ini''' file; launched by command line. If you have a Mac OS 8.x or 9.x CD (depending on the iMac model), look for a Drive Setup utility somewhere on that disc. Boot from the CD while holding down the C key. Initialise the hard disk with a 'Zero all data' option chosen.

If you are running Lion then you cannot run PPC software. Your computer would have to be capable of being booted by Snow Leopard in order to run PPC software. Or consider upgrading your PPC software or buying replacement software that works with Lion.

After a malware attack last week that rewrote my registers I had to restart from a restore point. The problem is now when firefox wants to update, it want to use the site that contains malware. I need to reset it to the proper site how do I do this?

My son was using the cpu at the time of the first attack. He got it cleared out and working. A day later it hit again when I was using the computer. I successfully uninstalled Firefox. Then I reinstalled it. All the presets and addons were STILL there. Then I tried a reset. That only cleared my homepage, but all the addons and plugins are there. I want this to be back to default. How can i do that?

I completely understand your are not an employee. I'm not angry because the program doesn't work. I'm upset because contributors don't take the time to read my post before making suggestions that I've already tried.
To reiterate, I want Firefox to be back to defaults. Obviously there is a malware/spyware/virus problem. How do i get back to the defaults? I found and read all the Mozilla support posts about "resetting," and as I said, that does not work. So... (understanding my situation) how do I get back to the firefox defaults?

This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.<br />
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder.

Firefox keeps crashing upon starting, how do I stop this?

My PC crashed some days ago, after rebooting firefox was no longer working. It does start up, but doesn't allow me to do anything and after a few seconds it crashes and shows the error report, often this already happens the second I try to fire up firefox. I have tried rebooting my PC several times thinking this was the issue. After the problems continued I have uninstalled firefox, making sure no traces of firefox were left anywhere for old data to be around and it spiraling into the same error, I have tried installing an older version of firefox but it still crashes upon opening. It opens 2 tabs of which 1 will probably be the congratulations you have succesfully installed firefox and the other being the home page, however I can't confirm this as they don't load. The same goes for the TOR browser which works on a FF basis. I don't know what could fix the issue and hope for some answers that will solve the issue.

It looks like you may me having an issue from what I could intially see with an add-on or extension which is causing the crash. Restart FF in safe mode to see if this fixes the issue

Run it and it'll remove the browser plugin from Firefox. Then re-run Reactor installer.
