I got a new phone so I gave my iphonne to my wife...we reset it but it still has my apple id....how do i remove hy id so she can put her in???

There is no much information about that. Fact is that Toshiba doesn't support this and don't offer such option. All you can do is to buy such products offered by third part manufacturers.
As Randy already wrote problem may be that BIOS will not recognize it.
If Im remembering well some people on this forum have already described this problem.
Other way I don't think you should remove ODD on your own.
Try to contact Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help. Maybe they know if there is some 100% compatible part that you can use with your machine.

I've removed my yahoo account several times. All it does is delete the info off my iPad and doesn't touch the account itself. So I can go back in, re-add the account and then redownload my mail again. I haven't had to change my passwords or anything.

The 'Do Not Disconnect' will remain on your iPod screen while iTuens can see it. All action needs to happen from iTunes. In iTunes, are you able to delete them? Have you tried changing your sync settings in Preferences?
You could also do a restore. That would wipe the iPod so you can start fresh.

If the machine was upgraded to Lion 10.7.x by the original owner then you bought an illegal license of Lion and also of any other applications that the seller said came pre-installed, this assumes the seller did not include original install media. In that case you need to contact the seller for the original install DVDs that came with the machine re-install up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then purchase Mountain Lion ($20) and the applications you want or need.
