We need to remove the reason code in the drop down for the Reason field (as shown in the pic) in the interaction record workcentre . We want only the reasons to be displayed in the drop down

You can do it from personalization. go to personalize->personalization setting->uncheck (show keys in dropdowb lists).
Now, only value will be displayed in dropdown list.

Need to remove 'Returns' Qty from the plant (MMBE)

In stock overview MMBE, there is no unrestricted qty. but there is some Qty in "Returns", how we need to remove this Qty from this plant..there is no stock in transit for this material for this plant? but there is some stock in transit in some other plant.
I am not sure what the purchase order/STO is. I have reviewed all of the past stock transfers with this material on them and cannot find one open, they need to get this material removed.
Please suggest how we can remove this Returns Qty from this plant (MMBE)?

if you have stock in returns status in MMBE, then you can move it into unrestricted status with 453, into own blocked status with 459.
this returns stock is created when you post a goods receipt to a return delivery. returns stock is not financially owned by you, it is non-valuated stock until you transfer it with an extra movement (453 or 459) into own stock.

I need to remove a video from the iTunes 12 library

I had some movies that I had on DVD and ripped them to my computer in MP4 format. I wanted to play them on my iPad to watch during my lunch hour at work.
I thought that iPad could play native "MP4" videos, so I went to File->Add to Library and the movies now show up in the iTunes page when I click on Movies.
However, when I went to sync the movies to my iPad, there was a message saying that it couldn't sync the file because it can't be played on the iPad. (Thanks Apple for being so hopelessly restrictive!)
Anyway, I got a program called HandBrake that takes a native MP4 and allegedly converts it to an iPad compatible format. I did this, then added it to the Library, thinking that it would override the file that was there. Apparently it didn't because I got the same error message.
So what I'm trying to do now is to find out how to remove the movie files that I added to Library, delete them, and go back and add the HandBrake files (by the way this has worked file in the past).
What's the best way to remove the errant files so I can replace them with the HandBrake formatted files. (The files I have are DVD's that I have purchased, so there is no licensing issue).

Typically any mention of ripping DVDs may get a topic removed from the ASC forums since it is discussion of an "illegal activity" and subject to Terms of Use.
The key thing here is if you upload a file to your library, then try to replace that same file with the same file name, iTunes will ignore it and NOT overwrite the file that's already there. You have to delete the file off first and THEN add to library again.
Correct, iTunes works on a file basis not a track label basis. That's why I said delete the old file. You could have 20 identical files with the same name (in different folders) and iTunes will add them all right next to each other. Nothing new in iTunes behavior there. In fact if you had gone to the location where the media file was stored and copied a new one over the old one with the same name I believe iTunes would still know it wasn't the original. You can, however, edit a file using a third party tool and save it in place and iTunes will accept the changes without having to re-add the file.

Is there a way to remove all of my contacts from the iCloud? My phone has my correct contacts list. When I sync with iCloud it pulls down 50+ contacts that I do not want. I went to iCloud to remove the unwanted contacts and it takes nearly 1 minute for each one. Another soluntion would be to make my phone contacts override my iCloud contacts?

Go to your Contacts on your Mac - if more than one pick the most accurate; delete any contacts you don't want. Select all the contacts, and from the File menu choose 'Export...'>'Export vCard'. Save the resultant file safely: it will be your 'master' list.
Now delete all the contacts from whichever device has the most in it. Sync with iCloud. If necessary repeat with different Macs. The result should be that the deletions sync to iCloud and in the end you finish up with empty Contacts lists everywhere.
Now you can import your saved file to one of your Macs. Make sure you import it under 'iCloud' not 'On My Mac'. Then it should propagate iCloud and any other devices. Keep the saved file at least until you are satisfied that all is in order.

Hello Prasad,
Use callbacks for populating Ribbon controls such as menu, dropDown, gallery and etc. Then you can use the
Invalidate or
InvalidateControl methods of the
IRibbonUI interface to get your callbacks invoked when required. Thus, you will be able to delete the required item(s).

Fetching more than one row from a table after selecting one value from the dropdown

How can we fetch more than one row from a table after selecting one value from the dropdown.
The scenario is that I have some entries in the dropdown like below
A               B               C
11256          VID          911256
11256          VID          811256
11256          SONY      11256
The 'B' values are there in the dropdown. I have removed the duplicate entries from the dropdown so now the dropdownlist has only two values.for eg- 'VID' and'SONY'. So now, after selecting 'VID' from the dropdown I should get all the 'C' values. After this the "C' values are to be passed to other methods to fetch some data from other tables.
Request your help on this.

I hope I understand your request proberly, since this is more about Java and less about WebDynpro, but if I'm wrong, just follow up on this.
Supposed you have some collection of your original table data stored in variable "origin". Populate a Hashtable using the values from column "B" (let's assume it's Strings) as keys and an ArrayList of whatever "C" is (let's assume String instances, too) as value (there's a lot of ways to iterate over whatever your datasource is, and since we do not know what your datasource is, maybe you'll have to follow another approach to get b and c vaues,but the principle should remain the same):

private Hashtable temp = new Hashtable<String, ArrayList<String>>();

Removing superseded messages from the queue

Does JSMQ provide any way for a producer to remove a message from the queue which it queued some time ago but which it no longer wishes to send?
I am investigating the use of JSMQ in a military battlemap application connecting nodes over low bandwidth/unreliable connections. The reason we want to be able to remove messages is as follows: Say a producer sends a low priority message to the queue regarding a unit's position. Later on the same producer sends an update regarding the same unit to the queue. If the first message is still present in the queue (ie has not been sent yet) then we want the producer to be able to remove it as it is now superseded by the new message and we don't want to waste bandwidth sending the old message first.
I know we can set an expiry time on messages, but this doesn't really solve our problem. We want the original message to stay in the queue indefinately (until it is read by the consumer) unless it is superseded by a new message in which case we want to remove it.

Hi Roger,
JMS does not support the removal of messages from a queue
as you described. I can't think of a way to not deliver the old
message once it was already sent.
Alternatives I can think of:
- Adjust the interval at which the consumer reads the messages
off the queue and/or the number of messages that are read;
so that the consumer will see the old and new messages
and can decide which one to use. This does not address the
bandwidth issue but allows the consumer to behave smarter.
- Similar to above, but on the producer side. The producer waits
for some interval before sending a message, in case an
updated position of a unit arrives at the producer. This might not
be good if a consumer needs to know the location of a unit as
soon as it is available.
- Use a topic instead of a queue. When using queues, old
messages (containing old positions) sent to a queue are kept
until the consumer reads it. With topics, if no consumers are
around, the message is tossed. However, if you really need old
messages to lie around (e.g. need to know last position of
unit), this won't suit your needs.

I need to be able to extract all values from the dropdown menu; I know how to get all those values as a string, but I need to be able to access each item; (the value in a dropdown menu will change dynamically)
How do I get number of item is selection dropdown?
How do I extract a ?name? for each value, one by one?
How do I change a selection by referring to particular index of the item in a dropdown menu?

The findElement method allows various attributes to be used to search. Take the following two examples for the element below:

I can find the element based on its name or any other attribute, I just need to specify what I am looking for. To find it by name I would do the following:
Set x = RSWApp.om.FindElement("ProdType","SELECT","Name")
If I want to search by id I could do the following:
Set x = RSWApp.om.FindElement("testProd","SELECT","ID")
Usually you will use whatever is available. Since the select element has no name or ID on the Empirix home page, I used the onChange attribute. You can use any attribute as long as you specify which one you are using (last argument in these examples)
You can use the FindElement to grab links, text boxes, etc.
The next example grabs from a link on a page

How to remove characters/lines from the beginning of an InputStream

Hi,
I have a program which receives several InputStreams. From each of these streams I have to remove 2 lines from the beginning. After the lines are removed, all the streams are combined to one with SequenceInputStream and read in one chunk. Is there an easy/simple way of doing this?
One option I thought would be to read the char by char until 2 end of line chars have been detected and then read the rest of the data to a buffer. And the create a ByteArrayInputStream out of this buffer. Problem with this approach is, that the amount of data can be large, so putting all the data in to memory might cause problems.
Another option is to use BufferredInputStream and use the readline() method twice to get rid of the lines that are not needed. After this I would write the data to some output stream, which is then converted back to input stream. Propably would work, but sound too much of work for a simple thing like this. There has to be better way.
To make it simple, what I need is a method that looks like the following, or something similar
* Removes n number of lines from the beginning of a InputStream.
* @param is InputStream where the lines are removed
* @param numberOfLines int value to indicate how many lines whould be removed
* @return InputStream where lines have been removed.

I don't have the app on my mac, it only appears in the update list. It's just annoying, because the update keeps appearing, and the reminder keeps reminding me that I should install a new update.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.

Let me explain:
In the clock app for ios 6.0.2 I am a little confused. It allows you to go into your music library, and create a ringtone using any songs you choose. However, I cannot find a way to remove a song from this list, just like I cannot delete one of the preset ringtones (which I'm not trying to do, but just as an example)
