I just want my workflow to repeat on an hourly basis.
(Have tried using Save as Plug-in for iCal, but iCal will only do daily/weekly/etc.)

Use the cron facility in Unix. Download Cronnix from VersionTracker or MacUpdate for a GUI to program cron.

Running Hours Base Maintenance Plan

Hi,
I have a scenario in which I need to create maintenance plan on running hours base. e.g. There is a generator which should be scheduled to plan according to 2000 running hours, 4K run hrs, 8K run hrs, 16K run hrs, ......
Now the tasks which are used in 2K plan will be repeated in 4K plan. and so on. How can I configure it in PM.

First you will create a measruing point/counter for calculting the running hours. Now create a task list with maintenance strategies 2k, 4k, 8 k etc. now define the operations in the task list. In the maintebnance package define whcih operations you want to define for whcih operation. Suppose for 2k running hors you need only operation number 10, so select the maintenance package 2k only for operation 10. For 4k running hours you want operation 10 and 20 , then in maintenance package , for operation 10 select select 2k, and 4k and for operation number 20 selecct package 4k. SO operation 10 will come for 2k maintenance and also for 4 k maintenace and operation number 20 will only come for 4k running hours. Hope it will solve your problem.

Why is a site i log into on an hourly basis suddenly blocked by filter

i log onto an art sharing site on a hourly basis, yet all of a suddent i can't log onto the said site, i get a black screen with white letters saying blocked by filter. how do i fix this?

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that works.
If that works then some software on your computer is the cause of the blocking message.
You can also check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if the default "Use the system proxy settings" setting doesn't work properly.

Need a Repeater for stronger wifi connection

Hi,
I'm new to wireless issues so please bare with me.
I have a MBP with snow leopard installed. I have a boat docked at a marina that has free wifi. If I am at the marina office, the signal strength is fine. When I am on my boat (distance from outdoor wifi antenna to my boat is approx 100 feet) the signal is very and drops very often. I was told that I need a repeater that will extend the signal strength. When I went to the Apple store I was told that I could use Apple airport express, but that it only acted as a repeater if using other airport express or airport extreme base stations. The marina uses a netgear R0318 router. So then I was told that I need a repeater that is compatible with the netgear router and my Mac. I saw this repeater:

Would this do the trick? Is there a better option? I'd like to use the airport express, but it doesn't seem to work. I also have an ipod touch and a wireless printer (Lexmart) that I would want to be able to have on the network.

I suppose there is a remote possibilty that a user who is reading the Apple forums may have used the product that you ask about, but it's also more likely that you won't receive an answer, so you may want to post on the other company's website if they have one
The bottom line is this with any repeating type of device.....you won't know until you try. For that reason, it's a good idea to understand the store's return policy in case things don't work as hoped.
Even if the AirPort Express were compatible with the Netgear device, the correct location for a repeating device is about 1/2 the distance from the main router to the area that needs more coverage. A repeater or extender can only "repeat" what it receives. If you locate the device at your boat, it will receive little to no signal to repeat.
So, if you find a device (Netgear would be first place I would look to insure compatibility), you'lll need to think about how to locate it correctly.

I need a repeater/bridge.

I need a repeater/bridge in my basement. I have an old wrt54gs v1.
I read about being able to do this with dd-wrt. I would like to avoid this option.
What linksys hardware options do I have? I'm willing to upgrade my router and buy multiple pieces of hardware.
I was thinking a range extender + bridge + switch could work.
But, what about having an access point or something less complicated?

If you want to save some money just buy this.
It will work with your old router and will increase its range, But if you don't mind spending some money you could just by a AP and set it to bridge mode.
You really have no need to buy a new router unless you want to.

Safari crashing on an hourly basis

My Safari, v. 6.2.2 is lately crashing too frequently, almost on an hourly basis... The beach ball is turning, and when I switch to the Finder and back to Safari it would not respond to the pointer, I must quit Safari and launch it again... Short of switching to Chrome as my default browser, is there a solution? I already reset Safari by removing all website data. Still, no improvement.

Safari/Preferences/Advanced - enable the Develop menu, then go there and Empty Caches. Quit/reopen Safari and test.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you want to make your user library permanently visible, run the below command in Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You will need to do that after any updates.

Also I have checked that both Released Necessary & Doc. complited marked when document parked. I refered the following thread for the customization setting.

CCR Report for a plant on Hourly basis

My Business requested us (BASIS) to reshedule CCR Report (background job) for a plant to run on hourly basis which was on daily basis early. Could this effect the load/performance of the system?

Workflow Manager will work with either SharePoint Enterprise or Standard. It doesn't work well with Foundations since it depends on User Profiles to pass user identity to the workflow. And yes you can install it on Windows Server datacenter edition.

Repeat workflow by termination event

Im developing a workflow to assign a SAP position for a New Hire employee.
The sceniro is If an employee is hired with default position, then WF have to be triggered to HR Administrator.So far the workflow is working fine.
But there is a new requirement, if a HR Administrator cancel one of the task meaning confirmation message, then the same workflow have to be re-triggered from beginning. As we know we can write in termination event.
But I dont know where to write this logic in task definitation. Im working in ECC 6.0
Pls help me to sort out this issue

Thanks for your immediate response. Defining repeat workflow in workflow header is not working for this scenario.
There is a requirement, if a HR Admin cancel any task in workflow builder, then the workflow have to restart from beginning. Let say, I have include one task which will take the HR admin to PA40 to assign valid SAP Position for a new hire employee.. After he complete & before closing the WF, a confirmation message is displayed where HR admin have to select whether he want to <b>close or cancel</b> the WF. If he cancel the workflow then same workflow have to restart/re-trigger again
Please help me to fulfill this requirement
