Need to Reset Apple ID on iPod Nano
I just bought an iPod Nano and associated it with the wrong Apple ID. How can I reset it to another Apple ID?
iPods (that are not iPod touch) are not directly associated with an Apple ID. It is associated with your iTunes library on your computer. What specific problem are you having?

Good day. I have this problem. I need to reset Apple ID. I have the receipt and box from this device this confirms that the unit belongs to me. It was established by the seller at the store he not asked me my name and my mail. And I think that they put their own or invented. When I took the phone after setting it worked. Phone was only used for calls and SMS and some Internet. When I needed to install the application and he asked for the code. I did not know him. I went to the store where it was set up and found out that it was closed forever. I decided to reset it to factory settings and create a new APPLE ID but it is blocked. After reading on the Internet that will only support from APPLE. On the apple website in the support section of the created application No. 749644595.

4)I called back and I was still waiting for 15 minutes
5) I replied and said that can't help me and hung up
6) I called again, waited 10 minutes
7)I was transferred to another specialist whom I waited 30 minutes and I got disconnected.
8) I called and the operator by the name of Vadim almost all my questions answered what apple id and did not answer the main question.

I didn't receive my return box from Apple for the iPod Nano replacement as promised within 2 working days, did anyone else?
UPDATE. Just spoke with an AppleCare representative, Apple has been inundated with requests for these iPod Nano replacements. They have fallen behind with sending out the return boxes in the 2 days they promised. I was told to wait an additional 2 days. She also said they were very surprised so many people still have their 1st generation nanos...
We have been an Apple family for years and trust they will do the right thing, they have always surprised us with their professional customer service and expect this situation to be the same. -

Cant change apple ID on iPod nano 5G
I created an apple ID in May with my first iphone. I soon changed this on my macbook pro, and later used it as default my new iphone, my ipad, and my other macbook pro. BUT, I was unable to change it on my ipod nano. I could sync the data on to it but I can't change the apple ID. If I dont have it, I wont be able to purchase from my account or add it to find my ipod (if that is a feature). I tried technical support, tons of information sites, and even resetting it. NOTHING WORKED. How do I change it this is really important!

Will apple refund my iPod nano even if there is nothing wrong with the battery?
iPod nano 1st gen
One more guest ion guys what does the following part from the email from apple mean "Apple may charge you a diagnostic fee, including shipping charges, of no more than one hundred ($100) dollars US, plus applicable tax, if Apple inspects your product and determines based on the inspection that the product does not require service. If Apple determines, while inspecting your product, that service is needed due to the failure of parts that are neither supplied by Apple nor Apple-branded, Apple may return the product to you without servicing it, and may charge you the diagnostic fee plus applicable sales tax. " isn't this saying that if there is nothing wrong they will charge me and they wont give me a new iPod!?

13912I too, was reluctant to send in my 1st gen Nano when an Express Support rep couldn't confirm what I'd get back: a refurbished 1st gen (someone else's)? My own refurbished 1st gen? A newer gen Nano? They also couldn't confirm that my orig memory size would be matched (4GB.) Didn't get a warm fuzzy about that, either.
But I figured, what did I have to lose? I was using a 7-yr-old Nano in my car...what's the worst that could happen? I sent mine in for replacement (via UPS packaging) the week after Christmas. I checked Repair Status tonight plus scheduled a call w/Express Support. The agent told me Apple purposely didn't say in the orig email what model customers might get back because they didn't know how deluged they would be with return 1st gen Nanos. He put me on hold, contacted 'dispatch' and came back with the good news that I am scheduled to receive a 6th gen Nano (new one!) via Fedex (also good news) sometime this coming week. He said they ran out of refurbished 1st gens and now are shipping new models. :-)
If it helps here was my timeline: Returned 1st gen Nano via UPS to Apple on 12/29; Repair Status on Apple site says it was received 1/11; was scheduled for shipping via Fedex last Thurs, 1/12. Fast turnaround! Thanks Apple! -
i dont know why but everytime i plug in my ipod touch it needs to reset, i cant even use it now. any suggestions?
Error 13 and 14: These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
Above is from the same article I provided above. -

hp pavillion a1000y Windows XPHi Whiteshaq4,
Welcome to Apple Discussions
Knowledge Base Document #61119 says:
"To clean iPod, unplug all cables and cords and set the Hold switch to Hold. Then use a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings.
Don't use aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, or abrasives to clean iPod."
Some people do recommend iKlear Cleaning Kit.
I hope that helps,
Jon

Why Does iTunes Continuously Read From the Hard-drive?
