Need to reset everytime I try to connect

Infitinity is working fine on my main computer, but everytime I try to connect on any laptop I need to reset the Hub to get it to connect. I've tried several laptops and all have the same issue. On my phone it connects intermittently but a reset doesn't work with it.
This has only been happening in the last week, nothing has changed over that time to have started it though.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

Thanks.
I think I've actually found the problem, it seemed to be an issue with my new phone (BlackBerry Torch). The problem only started when I got the phone (I didnt mention it as I didnt think it was even possible to be an issue!), I returned it yesterday to get a different BB and since then I have had no issues.

Everytime I try to connect to my wifi it says unable to join network, my iphone did this to but then I had my router firmware upgraded. So it shouldnt be that.

If you are unable to select Forget This Network for the network on your iPad, go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Network Settings. This will erase all wi-fi network settings from your iPad for every wi-fi network you have connected your iPad with.
If no change after this, do you connect your iPad to any other wi-fi network besides your own? If so, any problem connecting your iPad with any other wi-fi network?

Before posting, please correct your Mac OS version in your profile. It currently reads" iOS 5,1" but no version of iOS can run on a Mac computer, only iDevices. Do About this Mac form your Apple menu to get your actual Mac OS version. Probably 10.something
Helpers in the other forum may need a accurate OS version listing to sort your problem.

  • I have a 120gb ipod classic and everytime i try to connect it to itunes it connects and then disconnects straight away

i keep this bad boy in the car and i will say the ipod itself probably hasn't been updated in a while, but i last had it connected 3 weeks before 10.7 was released and it was connecting fine. i've repaired then, removed / reinstalled itunes, made sure all my drivers are up to date, tried different usb ports all with no luck, even tried resetting my ipod incase that helped with no luck, tried using different cords as i own and iphone aswell and so does my wife but neither made a difference.
is it possible that the problem is with the ipod itself i mean it has to be close to 6 years old, it still connects to docks and headphones work fine just seems and be and issue connecting to itunes that none of our other idevices are having.

  • I upgraded to iOS 7, now trying to restore from a back up, and it always bring me back to the factory reset, everytime I try putting the backup. Help?

So, I made a backup of my device (iPad 2). It was on iOS 4.3.2. I updated to iOS 7. Now, I'm at the default opening screen. I have to choose language, country, then connect to WiFi. After that, it asks me if I want to start new or restore from a backup from iCloud or iTunes. I select iTunes (because my backup is on iTunes), it brings me to the "Connect to iTunes" screen. I restore the iPad, and when the loading is all finshed, I come back to the iPad, and it's back to the default screen! Then I tried again and again. 5 times it didn't work. I also tried putting it in recovery mode prior to restoring, it doesn't work either. Help please?

    10. You'll be given 3 options (a) Setup as New iPad (b) Restore from iCloud Backup (c) Restore from iTune Backup
    11. Select Restore from iTune Backup
    12. You will see picture of USB cable pointing towards iPad
    13. Connect iPad to iTune (make sure iTune is on standby)
    14. Tap Continue (computer)
    15. Restore iPad from Backup (computer)
    16. See progress bar with estimated time (computer)
    17. See Restore in Progress on iPad

  • Everytime I try to connect my iPod to my iMac it would connect then disconnect and etc. Any help?

I have an iPod 5th generation. Both my iPod and iMac are up to date on everything. The wire is fine and also are the usb ports. Everytime I plug my iPod in the iMac it wouldn't be able to connect to iTunes and it would keep on connect and disconnecting. Anyone who experienced this got through the problem and tell me the solution?

  • IBook time & date need to reset everytime it is started up

I originally posted this in the wrong discussion group for iMac G4. It is actually an iBook G4.
Every time my wife turns on her iBook, she gets a message that the time & date were set before 2001.
I've gone into system preferences and locked the correct date & time info.
Is it a battery issue or am I not setting the right preference?

    Hello fabtique!
The reason your iBook date and time are reseting is due to a battery located on the logic board of your iBook. Just like a watch battery it has died because of how old your iBook is. Noting that the most recent iBook before it was discontinued was made in 2005, which is now 5 years ago, The earliest being made in 2003, 7 years ago. Alternately I think (don't know) it might have something to with the computer's PRAM which I think is responsible for things like Time and date as well as sleep (IDK)
So all in all, The solution lies in replacing the battery which has obviously died on your logic board here are two links that will tell you how to open you iBook and another for purchasing a new battery. Alternatively you could take it into a Apple Store and have it repaired (It's not obsolete yet) Deal with the issue or fix it. PS You don't need to buy the battery online they can be found at local shops (Watchmakers)

  • How can I shut off the back up feature in ITunes. I don't want or need it. Everytime I try to add a single song to my ipod it takes 3 hours to back up. Is there anyway to make Itunes more user friendly I guess is the basic question.

Ok I have to be honest. Apple products and I do not get along. I really don't understand why you get locked out of nearly every feature. Anyway I don't want my Ipod backed up. It eats up memory and I simply do not need it. All I want to do is add a song or two without having to wait 3 hours. I also don't want to waste the space on my computer for the backup files. Lil help? Any answers would be helpful such as why they do this etc...

Sorry but I know of no way of not backing up for a PC.

  • I need to reset PRAM every time I connect to a monitor/projector!

    Have a 2013 MBP 15in running Yosemite.
I've been having issues lately (a couple months) with the computer recognizing external monitors or projectors when I go and present at meetings. I finally got myself an external monitor for my desk and the same thing started happening. After some digging, I learned about resetting PRAM. Voila, that worked! I thought the issue was resolved. However, next day, same thing. Reset the PRAM and voila, it worked.
While I do have a "solution/workaround" to reboot my computer every day and reset the PRAM, that doesn't sound like a good long-term solution.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Do you know of any tools to help check this? Might this be an indicator of faulty hardware? Is it possible the issue actually isn't PRAM, but something else that that issue is impacting PRAM?
I'd love insight from anyone experiencing something like this and what you did to resolve it.
