Multiple users need to see some documents in SQL table, PHP

Is there a way to serve up data for a user based on their group assignment? I have two SQL tables. The first one has the user login information (username, password, groupID note: multiple users can belong to same GroupID). The second table has the data that needs to be shown (file name, date, groupID note: multiple files can be assigned to same GroupID). I need to be able to serve up the file name and date from the second group based on the groupID assigned in the first table. I know this should be simple, but for some reason I just can't wrap my head around it. My site is PHP. Thank you in advance for any help,

The GroupID you are using is typically used as an access level and used for access and restriction to pages, but the same principles apply here. I would suggest using three groups, with the third meaning both. This value can be stored in a session variable or used when a recordset from the user table is executed on the page. Use this value in your select statement to choose records marked with the same groupID.
So you'll have three groups, 1, 2 and 3 with three indicating both. However, in the second table, the groupID in those records will still only be assigned to 1 or 2, so you'll need an OR statement in the SQL to choose both when the access level is 3.

Yes, we are talking about FCP X...this is the thing:
I worked on a project a few days ago and went to share - export movie.
Today, i opened the FCP again, to make some changes, and when i enter to the project, it shows me as one big clip.....i dont see it says compound clip....and i tried anyways pressing break appart clips...but nothing....could it be that i made it compound before exporting it..? if so how can i recover the un-compound version >?
I tried to import the saved .mov file, but it opens the same....as one long clip...
Pls help...thanx.

Need expert on using Keynote

I need someone who is a wizard with Keynote. I want to put a "killer" presentation, using photos, High Definition video together for a Non Profit company. The presentation will be used to raise funds to build schools in Africa.
Can anyone recommend someone? Willing to pay for this service.

I have taken some pics off and videos and appt, but it still says I need to delete before I can back up on iCloud. I'm starting to wonder if its a glitch with my personal phone. Can anyone help me?

Only you can decide what's critical to back up. One option is to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then either delete them from your phone or exclude the camera roll from your backup in settings.
You might try going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll), then look at the size of your next backup. If it doesn't go down significantly, something else is wrong.

Why can I see some photos in iphoto just fine, but then I will drag something in, edit it, and when I go back later it is not in photos or events. If I search my computer, I can find it, but it doesn't show up in iphoto. Yet other photos show up fine!

I am completely confused by this. Should all photos loaded into iphoto show up? What makes some different from others? Does it matter if they are on the desktop first, straight off the camera, or sent to me via email?? Why should they be different in any way? I just worked on 2 differnt photos - one was sent to me via email, placed on the desktop and dragged into iphoto. It shows up as an event. The other was sent via email, saved directly from the email to iphoto - I went in and edited it and now it is nowhere to be found. Help!!!!

What "other system" are you using to search? And, when you find the Photo, where is it?
Storing files in folders is not using a Photo program at all, it's just using the file manager for the job. You can do this on your Mac just as easily as on your Windows box, with the same advantages (it's easy to understand) and limitations (it's inflexible, limited and treats your photos the same way as it treats your text files.)
iPhoto is a different kind of program alright, and once you finish the learning curve - and for most folks, that's not very long - you may see some additional advantages over storing files in folders. Maybe you won't. It's not for evertbody, but frankly, "if all your friends" can "never find any photos they are looking for" when iphoto offers far more ways to manage, arrange, categorise and seach for your photos than the file manager does, then perhaps you need to look closely at your friends
Seriously: I post this for folks who are getting to know iPhoto for the first time. It's just one way of using the app, but it does demonstrate what I mean by being more flexible than the file manager:
I use Events simply as big buckets of Photos: Spring 08, July - Nov 06 are typical Events in my Library. I use keywords and Smart Albums exensively. I title the pics broadly.
I keyword on a
Who
What
Where basis (The When is in the photos's Exif metadata). I also rate the pics on a 1 - 5 star basis.
Using this system I can find pretty much find any pic in my 39+k library in a couple of seconds.
So, for example, I have a batch of pics titled 'Seattle 08' and a typical keywording might include: John, Anne, Landscape, mountain, trees, snow. With a rating included it's so very easy to find the best pics we took at Mount Rainier.
File -> New Smart Album
set it to 'All"
title contains Seattle
keyword is mountain
keyword is snow
rating is 5 stars
Or, want a chronological album of John from birth to today?
New Smart Album
Keyword is John
Set the View options to Sort By Date Ascending
Want only the best pics?
add Rating is greater than 4 stars
The best thing about this system is that it's dynamic. If I add 50 more pics of John to the Library tomorrow, as I keyword and rate them they are added to the Smart Album.
In the end, organisation is about finding the pics. The point is to make locating that pic or batch of pics findable fast. This system works for me.

A .exe file is a Windows executable. OS X does not run Windows programs. If you need to use .exe files then you will need to install Windows on your Mac:

Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.

Need assistance converting some AS2 code to AS3

I have some simple AS2 code that brings in a MovieClip when
you click a button. This is currently AS2, and I would rather
convert it to AS3. I also have some code which closes the MovieClip
upon button Click.
The code I am currently using is below:

addMC is the name of one of the event handler functions, not
the button(s). the button instance names are: addButton and
removeButton.
To have three of them, duplicate what you see and have new
variables, functions, and button names for all three sets, adjusted
appropriately.
I'm pretty sure this isn't over yet, I'm just giving you code
per your defined scenario, which may have a hole or two in it. Try
it out and see what you really want to do, then come back when you
find out things need to be tamed in some way or aren't working as
you want. There are more complicated ways to deal with a situation
depending on what you really want, and I'm one who prefers to see
some work done at your end that shows you've tried something (I'm
not mean, much, I just have this thing about learning by doing).

Can't see the "keynote" folder in application supports iwork

I'm trying to uninstall some purchased themes that I don't like. As instructed, I followed the path library>application supports>iwork>keynote>theme. However, I can't see the "keynote" folder, although I showed hidden files. There is only the "pages" folder in that "iwork" folder. Can anyone please help me out?

There are 3 Libraries on the computer. Go to Macintosh HD > Library > application support > iwork > Keynote > themes.

Can no longer copy and paste from browser into illustrator - get placeholder that says "QuickTime and a decompressor are needed to see this picture"

We upgraded our iMacs to Yosemite and lost functionality on Illustrator CS4. We can save a picture to the desktop and then drag or 'place' the image to the Illustrator document, but if we drag directly from the browser or cut/copy/paste, we get a placeholder stating 'QuickTime and a decompressor are needed to see this picture'. .png, .psd, and .tiff files give a missing plugin error.

Illustrator CS4 and Yosemite aren't fully compatible. Some folks might have succeeded in getting it to run, but most have not.

Depends on which version you are. Until CS5 there was no ME included in Adobe’s application. Either you had to buy a specific ME version from a vendor in ME or you had to buy additional plugins.
Since Creative Cloud you can add or switch between any available version of the programs. Adobe added several MENA versions. But how the programs behave it is different. E.g. in InDesign you can install any version additionally, and InDesign will run with the previous language but with more functions which are supporting these languages. Photoshop, Bridge, Acrobat, Edge and others add a language switch in the preferences. Some others need to change the OS language to the language you need, so that it can start or need to uninstall before installing that language. (I don't know to which group Illustrator belongs. I have only installed Photoshop and InDesign in several languages.)
When you are a CC subscriber you can open the CC application, on the Mac you find it on the top right corner, 2 C letters arranged like an infinite symbol, on Windows down it the task bar. On the Mac it is also in Utilities. There open the preferences (gear symbol) and change the app language to your wanted. Then you see everywhere the buttons changing from installed to install. Now you can install your loc version of the program into the existing program files.
Take care, installing Asian version together with MENA versions on the same computer will cause crashes, so you have to decide, if you want to install MENA or Asien or INDIC versions, don't install it together, it will crash without any hope. (I tried it once oly for testing purposes and I could report some crashes to Adobe.)

Visibility of the Podcasts section is controlled from within the Edit > Preferences dialog.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
Missing tracks
Typically this can happen because a file or folder is accidentally shunted to the wrong location. iTunes can also get confused if it expects to be talking to an external drive which isn't there. If will often reset the default media folder location and may have trouble finding files in the old folders.
Select one of your tracks that is missing in action. Press CTRL-I to Get Info. Cancel when asked to try to locate the file, then look at the location given on the summary tab. This where iTunes thinks the file ought to be? Now find out where it actually is. Post back the two locations for comparison. I should be able to give you some steps to reconnect everything once I can determine which of the things that might have gone wrong is most likely in your case.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Pretty much all newer versions of UC applications have started supporting virtualization so they can be installed on the VMware.

Some applications like CUCM version 4 were windows based previously but going ahead with version 5, 6 onwards the OS has been changed to Linux Operating system.

That means the computer cannot find the operating system. Either the hard drive has a physical problem or is corrupted. Do you have the computer's original system CDs or DVDs? You may need them to get through this.
Notebook computer drives are not as robust as the larger drives used in desktop computers. If your G4 can run OS9, it's pretty old, and the drive may have simply worn out.
