Need to setup Trading Partner specific CorrelationID

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in Oracle 1g to setup correlation IDs based on the Trading Partner-Document Type combination.
We use the generic ftp communication protocol. Is this possible. If yes, how?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

  • B2B integration with just one trading partner using a dedicated VPN channel

    Hi colleagues,
We are working in a B2B integration escenario, where our company will just integrate with a service provider using a dedicated VPN channel, so we won't go out to internet, for that B2B communication we have identified 10 inbound + 9 outbound interfaces.
Do we need to look into implemeting an document exchange protocol for that? Of course we need some ACK mechanism as there'll be SLAs in place. If so, what would it be the most appropiate? I've been reading about ebxml, rosettanet etc but still not very clear for me which level of customization you'll need in order to apply those protocols. If this is much and given the fact that we are just dealing with a trading partner and we won't scale this platform to use more parther in the future, would it be worthy to customize our own ACK mechanism?
If relevant, in our side we use oracle fussion middleware, the trading partnel is using SAP IS-U. The message format will be standard XML, we haven't identified the need of any other formatting at the moment such EDI.
I know this is a very open question, so any advices or recommendations on that are highly appreciated.

    Hello Dipal,
There is a lilttle catch. Eventhough your Delivery channel which is used in the agreement for a specific trading partner specifies some IP/Port, you can dynamically send the message to some other IP as well. This is specified in the document.
This will give a flexibility of sending the HL7 message not just to the end point which is mentioned in the agreement but also to any othere ip/port as driven by the ACTION_NAME field in the IP_MESSAGE type. However ACTION_NAME filed overrides the delivery channel information, hence at any point of time you can
    1. Send a message to the end point mentioned in the delivery channel and used in the agreement. In this case ACTION_NAME is null or
    2. Any dynamic end point driven by the ACTION_NAME.
    Hope this is clear.

  • Adding Trading Partner to Coding Block subscreen

    Hello All,
The company that I work for have a need to add Trading Partner field to Coding Block subscreen to allow manual and in batch population of this field.  I have added Trading Partner to all custom coding block subscreens via transaction OXK1 but the field is still not available in FB01 when 'More' button is clicked in the document item.  It needs to be there because the standard SAP interface program RFBIBL00 expects it there for Account Type S.
Could you please let me know how I can make this field available in the Coding Block subscreen?
    Thank you so much!

    Hi,
Please check in field status group, see if you set the field "visible"

  • Inter business area transactions and trading partner business area

    Hi Gurus,
We are on R3 4.7. *We have more than one business area but only one company code*.. We do pull financial statements by business area.
One of the business area A gets a service contract to do work. Some part of the work is outsourced from business area A to business Area B. Business Area A pays to business Area B for the services done by business area B.
While doing payment to the business area B, do we need to populate trading partner busiess area as business area A? Is this trading partner busiess  area mandatory to be populated in this type of scenario.
Are there any things we need to be aware of when they are inter business area transactions as described in the above scenario.
We are not implementing EC-CS/any other consolidation solution.
    Thanks,
    Edited by: James09 on Jul 11, 2011 7:41 PM

If no consolidation system is implemeneted, then the partner business area is not mandatory. However it may be helpful for analysis as well as any future consolidations that may be necessary. Therefore it is suggested that this be captured, and in many cases will automatically be populated.

  • Trading partner missing for Reconciliation account

    Dear all,
I'm trrying to post a document where  tranding partner must be mandatory for every G/L accoutns.
But I've noticed that the field trading partner (More Data) is missing only for Reconciliatons G/L accounts.
Is something I've forgot to set in customizing? If yes, where?
    Thanks in advance
    Alberto

    Hi
Trading partner comes at line item level and all the items under a recon account are automatically posted to a recon account.
Recon account need not contain trading partner as all the items under that will contain.
In addition, line item display is not advisable in Recon account and hence again the trading partner field is not necessary.

  • Validation Rule for making Trading Partner mandatory in FB50

    Hi,
Validation Rule for making Trading Partner mandatory in FB50
I am trying to make trading field mandatory in FB50. If trading partner is not entered for the line items in FB50, User should get a  error
I have tried the  follwiong (at the Line Item level) and it does not work:
    1)
    Prerequiste:
    Transaction code = 'FB50'
    Check:
    Trading Partner = ''
    Message:
    2)
    Prerequiste:
    SYST-TCODE = 'FB50'
    Check:
    Trading Partner = ''
    Message:
    Any ideas?

The message will only be issued when the result of the check is false.  If you want to issue an error when a trading partner value is not entered, then your check needs to be Trading partner <> ''.  If the user enters a Trading partner value, the check will be true and no message will be issued.  If the user does not enter a Trading partner, the check will be false and the message will be issued.

  • Using one trading partner to broadcast to multiple recepients.

I want to send a single message to two destinations(2 IP's and 2 Ports OR 1 IP & two different ports). I followed the documentation on http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/b2b/pdf/B2B_Technical_Tips.pdf which is kinda confusing. Its the 15th topic. The heading and the content contradicts. I am seeing the overriding behavior and not sending to both IP & ports.
I assigned "DynamicIP:ABCDHospital_Endpoint:192.168.94.28:14108:192.168.94.28:14107" and message only goes to 14108 port and not 14017. The port configured in my configuration is 14107.
Can I send same message to multiple IPs/Ports? If yes how? I want to achieve this by using single TP/agreement.

  • Deleting a Specific Agreement for Trading Partner

    Hello Gurus,
I want to know that if i want to delete a specific agreement from the B2B console how can i achieve this, When i purge the Metadata or the Instace data all the agreements are getting deleted, Can anyone suggest that is this feature available in 11g.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,
    Sandy

    Sandy,
To delete a specific agreement, you will need to login to B2B console and navigate to the Administration-->Manage Deployments tab. Search for the agreement by specifying Name, Responding Partner, Initiating Partner etc. When the search returns the result, select the agreement in question and select "Inactive". Once the agreement is "Inactive", you can select it again and click "Retire". Select again and click "Purge". Note: Don't forget to select the "State" value (Active, Inactive, All etc.) before performing your search.
One other option is to select the active agreement and click "Inactive". Navigate back to the "Partners" page and select the trading partner. Next, click on the agreement name below on the "Agreements" pane and click the "X" (delete) icon.
Let me know if you have any questions.

  • CANNOT OVERRIDE DOCUMENT ROUTING ID FOR SPECIFIC TRADING PARTNER FOR ROSETT

Cannot override Document Routing ID for specific trading partner for RosettaNet transactions.
The Document Routing ID for other transactions types (e.g EDI) can be overridden when creating operation capability for a trading partner by unchecking "Use Existing Document Proto Parameter Values" and "Use Default Document Definition".
This does not work for RosettaNet transactions as no option to override the values is available when "Use Default Document Definition" is unchecked.

    Hello,
I have replicated this issue and it appears to be a bug. I shall follow up regarding the same.

  • Trading partner need to post in IR

Trading Ptr on STO Invoice Receipt entries. Trading Partner flows through to all line items on FI doc for Goods Receipts, but not for Invoice Receipts on STO PO''s.  On Invoice Receipts, Trading Ptr is only posted on the Intraco A/P line item. Can we get Trading Ptr to post on ALL line items in the I/R doc as well?

go to your invoice in VF03
then go via the menu: environment - account determination analysis - revenue accounts
here you see per valid condition how the acccount is picked up.

    what is wrong?

    Hello again,
I have tried all different combinations with the IP addresses and host names, but to no avail. Then I changed the Trading Partner Identification Type from MLLP Id to Sending Application (one of the customer requirements is to be able to identify the Trading Partner by the combination of Sending App/Sending Facility, since they are running multiple HL7 applications on one host). However, I still see the same error in the log file - for some reason, B2B is still trying to identify the Trading Partner by the MLLP Id. Redeploying the configuration didn't help, the requested identification type is ignored.
Please help! If needed, I can send the B2B log file, but maybe I'm missing something obvious.
BTW, the customer has installed the patch for bug 6439217 on October 10th. The B2B version is 10.1.2.2.0.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Trading Partner

    Hi,
New to BCS hence needs guidance from you experts
    1. Can we define Trading Partner for a specific Item in a company or replace the existing partner with new partner
    2.  I have uploaded a file thru Flexi upload method, I want to reload that file with some changes, will it remove the entire data loaded earlier thru this file. For example, if I hv uploaded 10 items earler now I need to upload only 8 items, will it remove/delete the remaining 2 items
    3. What could be implications in doing re-upload, or do we need to chg some configuration.
Would be thankful on your inputs.
    Best Regards,
    os

Hi os and welcome to SDN!
    1. The question is not clear. Do you mean any particular TP value or TP in a subassignment?
    2. It depends on:
    A. The upload should reverse or delete the previous load data, depending on your settings.
    B. Update mode in the flex upload method determines how the data loaded earlier should be treated.

    3. Caution: if you change some configuration after the load (especially it's true for subassignments) and then do reload be ready for some implications: some records with the old, for example subassignments, may not be deleted and remained. The safe way to reload is to delete uploaded RFD data through workbench: the is a such a function.
    Good luck!
