Need to sync calendars of different departments in sharepoint 2003 portal.

Customer have different departments in their company and each department has training calendars. Customer wants all that calendar to be viewed in sharepoint 2003 portal from one user login. Customer has office 2013 in all machines. Please help with your
suggestion.

In sharepoint 2010 and 2013 we have calendar Overlay which might have resolved your issue.
In sharepoint 2003 , you will have to connect your outlook with sharepoint calendar and have users view all calendar at once. However this has to be done on each users machine individually.

  • Need to sync calendars

    Hi,
I have a Pearl 8130 and my spouse has a Storm 2 9550.  I need to be able to sync our 2 calendars.  I use a PC at home that only has outlook express (no calendar).  He has outlook at work, I have lotus at work.  What I really want to be able to do is to just sync his calendar appointments to mine.  Why is it so difficult?  I thought google sync would do it - just 2 way sync his phone to the google calendar and mine... no go.  So then I tried yahoo since the blackberry desktop software (downloaded 1 week ago) said it would sync with ASCII text importer/exporter or Yahoo.  So I tried Yahoo and it all seemed ok until I connected my Pearl and tried to sync.  It got through all the calendar events and then "connection to yahoo server was lost".  There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, or yahoo.  I closed the app, restarted, still no sync there.  I shut down my Kapersky antivirus, and tried again, still nothing.
All I want to do is sync one phone to the other - I don't even care about having a web-based calendar.  I've been trying to figure out how to do this for 3 evenings now and I'm at my wits' end.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
Phones are 8130 and 9550, provider is Telus Mobility.  I recently updated OS too.  What else is there?  We're just talking things like kids' sports, dental appointments, that sort of thing!
    Thanks

In order for both devices to reflect the same calendar, they will both need to do a two way synch with the same web/PC based calendar.  Since both are unable to fully sync the calendar, try following this article to make sure both devices are using only one device calendar. If entries exist in multiple device calendars, they will need to be merged into one default calendar for synchronization. Only the entries in the default device calendar will sync to the computer. http://bbry.lv/cRbt9R There are some links in the article that provide further instructions.

  • Need to sync to a different computer

The mac I used to activate and keep my iphone synced is not available now. I do have another imac at home. Is there any issue connecting my iphone to a different computer? Will my photos, music and contact info be lost or will it be reconciled with what I already have in my computer.?
    Thank you

    Ansuz82,
One thing to add, you will have the option to transfer the purchased music and videos to the computer you are sycning with if you have authorized it for the same iTunes Store account.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Need to sync iBooks on different computer than where everything else syncs

I been syncing my iPad at a home computer and using mobile me to keep calendar, contacts etc. in sync. Everything is working perfectly.
Now in my job, I am starting to create ePubs for iBooks, and would like to sync these files with my iPad from a work computer via iTunes. I have been emailing the ePub files home, then syncing.
I sure would like to be able to just sync the iBook part at work (using the same iTune account), so that I would have immediate access to the files that I am working on. I am loosing so much production time not being able to have immediate access to the ePub and making revisions.
Is anyone else doing this? Can I attempt it and now screw everything else up?
    Thanks!

  • Sync calendar with different imac account

    Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help. We have an old imac containing out entire itunes library. This library is on my login account. My wife has just started using an iPhone 5s & i synced it to the iTunes library under my login on our imac to upload our music to the iphone. So far so good but i noticed the phone was offering me to option to sync my calendar (i.e. the one associated with my login on the imac) but I could not work out if I could sync my wife's calendar with her iphone.
    Can anyone help with this?
    Thanks!

First, update to the latest itunes 7.3.2
Then open itunes preferences under the edit menu.
Click on the iphone icon in the preference window and reset sync history.

  • Need to sync calendars between two iPod touchs,  8GB 3rd Generation

I use Microsoft Works on my PC and iTunes does not recognize the Works calendar. Therefore I use the iPod's Apps calendar. I recently purchased an identical iPod for my wife and can't find a way to sync the calendars between the two iPods.

I think you can sync both of them to the same Google Calendar account when you have WiFi access. See this: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=138740&cbid=riutrlst6g 98&src=cb&lev=answer
Pay special attention to step 13 to avoid problems.

  • Can I sync my iPhone and my wife's iPhone calenders through the same iCloud account? Or do I need to set up 2 different apple id's anc iCloud's

Can I sync my iPhone and my wife's iPhone calenders through the same iCloud account? Or do I need to set up 2 different apple id's and iCloud's

No, I would recommed to use two separate iCloud accounts for mail, calendars, notes, reminders, contacts etc.

  • Have thunderbolt and need to sync ical with google calendar in order to use.  Any suggestions?

Have a thunderbolt and MacBook.  Need to sync ical with google calendar as thunderbolt supports google calendar.  Any suggestions?

I think we may be talking about two different things. Thunderbolt is the new two way display port on Mac Book Pros and Apple displays.
Thunderbolt (originally codenamed Light Peak) is an interface for connecting peripheral devices to a computer via an expansion bus. Thunderbolt was developed by Intel and brought to market with technical collaboration from Apple Inc. It was introduced commercially on Apple's updated MacBook Pro lineup on February 24, 2011.
Thunderbolt combines PCI Express and DisplayPort into a serial data interface. A single Thunderbolt port supports hubs as well as a daisy chain of up to seven Thunderbolt devices; up to two of these devices may be high-resolution displays using DisplayPort. You can move data to and from peripherals up to 20 times faster than with USB 2.0 and up to 12 times faster than with FireWire 800.

  • Need Assistance With Syncing Calendars Across 2 Apple ID's

Hi, I have three devices - a home iMac, a personal iPhone and a work iPad. I just upgraded to Mavericks without knowing that you had to use iCloud to sync calendars and I'm having a little trouble getting everything to sync properly...
My home iMac and personal iPhone calendars are syncing fine over iCloud - both are using my Apple ID which is my personal Gmail address. The issue is my iPad. It is provided to me by my company so I have to use an Apple ID which is my work/company e-mail address. Anything I add to my iPad calendar is not syncing to my iPhone and iMac. I'm assuming this is because of the different Apple ID's but I'm not positive.
I really need all three of these calendars to sync - i.e., when I add something to my home computer I'd like for it to appear on my iPad. And most importantly, when I'm out at work setting up appointments on my Ipad (I am a traveling sales rep and do this very frequently) - I need them to sync up to my home computer and iPhone.
And assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Add your personal account to the iPad, turn Calendars on.

  • Help! I synced my iCal from my old iPhone to iCloud. It worked great. I've done this because I'm switching to a Samsung phone and need to sync my iCal to my Google calendar. In attempting to do so today, my iCal is empty. How can I retrieve my iCal info??

This was EXACTLY what I needed about the purchases I made from my device. However, is there a way to re-download other ones you've made from a computer? Because I realized some of them were not just purchased from my device.
This is a picture of what it looks like now:
    http://tinypic.com/r/107quxu/7
As you can see, the stuff circled in red doesn't give me an option to download from Cloud Beta because it already says "downloaded".
any way to get around that?

The easiest way is through a shared calendar in the cloud, such as Google Calendar.

  • I need to sync my mac calendar with ipad and iphone and visa versa.

I need to sync my mac calendar with ipad and iphone and visa versa. I have read up on it and Mobileme seemed the way to go, but isn't for sale anymore.  Will installing lion allow me to integrate calendars???

You should post in the SL forum for more help.
Since you're using SL, you should be able to sync using iSync application or iTunes. I'm not familiar with it, but I know it can be done.
And yes, if you install Lion and use iCloud, you will be able to sync iCal between all devices. Once set up, whatever change made on one automatically updates the other. Same for AddressBook.

  • HT1694 I need toi sync my personal Outlook calendar to my iPhone 5, can this be done with a non-server system?

I need toi sync my personal Outlook calendar to my iPhone 5, can this be done with a non-server system?

    You're welcome.
Have you never synced your iPhone with iTunes on your computer to transfer music and any other iTunes content from your iTunes library on your computer, or to transfer photos from your computer to your iPhone, etc.?
What I'm referring to is your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your computer, not any setting on your iPhone.

  • HT204053 Is it possible to sync calendars between two different users?

Is it possible to sync calendars between two different users?

    Hi
Installing the drive into the older machine may work, you WILL get a lot of driver errors and the unit may even fail to boot. The other problem is that the drives may not be compatable, the drive in the broken PC is a SATA drive, older PCs had IDE drives with very different connectors.
Your best option is to do as you suggest and obtain a USB caddy and extract the data that way.
Make sure that the caddy you get will support SATA drives (all new ones will).
