Need to test eBook downloads?

I have recently launched an eBook on iTunes. Apple have given me the green light and it is 'live'.
However, clients have contacted me to say they are having problems purchasing/downloading the book. Is there a way for me to test this (without obviously having to pay the cost) to see if it works OK? I can open up the sample no problem - but I want to check the full ePub opens as well.
Any ideas??

Monitoring network traffic usually involves a managed switch configured for port mirroring, or maybe a Pineapple Router, or other such hardware; some provision which allows you access into the network traffic for monitoring via tcpdump or related tools.
It's certainly possible to probe ports with the OpenSSL s_client or related tools (and view the certificates, for instance), but that's not directly what you want here.
I'd also possible to use a managed switch or a firewall to block non-SSL traffic ports, but that's also not what you really want.
Based on your other thread, your local DNS services configuration appear to be incorrect; it's apparently in the .local top-level domain. Errant DNS is going to have a large effect on SSL operations, as SSL is fundamentally based on DNS, and DNS problems are endemic among folks new to running servers. The problem is, that the Acrobat Reader pop up, when you press the link with Browser Fire Fox (good)
but not when you press the link with the Browser IE8 (bad).
What could be the reason?

If you mean a direct download link; no, there isn't. The download link always contains the version number, language & OS, e.g.

I am testing applications and I want to run an IOS version that is not the latest version offered by iTunes. ex: Plug in my iPod Touch and the latest version of IOS being offered in the update option is version 4.2. I need to test v4.1. How can I download and downgrade my device?

Downgrading iOS is not supported by Apple. You may find workarounds on other web sites if you do a web search for such information, e.g. "downgrade iOS". You can links to Apple's direct downloads for iOS 4.1 here, among other places:

The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

Sap test system needed / sap test system gebraucht

maybe somebody of you could give some hint where I can find a test system for sap in a downloadable version 4.5 upwards. I have an sap mini basis system (mbs) in the version 4.6 (c) , but no valid license key on hand due to the fact that the old one has expired and there would not be any new license key available from sap company itself because of already having done the steps up to the latest version.
If somebody could also advise where to find sap test versions in between 4.5/4.6 and the latest it would fantastic to get to know - I need an test environment for abap programming in the first place.

vielleicht gibt es jemand, der mir sagen kann wie oder wo ich ein Testsystem für die ABAP-Entwicklung bekommen kann.
Ich habe für Windows bereits ein MiniSAP-System in der Version 4.6 (c), bei der der Lizenzkey aber nicht mehr funktioniert, da abgelaufen.
Falls mir jemand einen Lizenzkey für diese Version zur Verfügung stellen kann, wäre mir vorerst sehr damit geholfen.
Aber nichtsdestotrotz würde mich eine neuere Test-Version von SAP sehr interessieren. Falls mir jemand hiervon eine Kopie geben kann oder einen Hinweis darüber wo gebührenfrei oder kostengünstig eine solche zur Verfügung steht oder gestellt wird, wäre ich sehr froh darüber, da sich sicherlich seit 4.6 schon ein wenig geändert haben wird, in Menüs u.a. .

during installation the java installation folder needs to be selected. After having chosen this the installation aborts by showing a message with the options retry, view log, stop.
This message is generated:

Choose Retry to repeat the current step.
Choose View Log to get more information about the error.

Also some message about my anti-virus software came up saying that there is a problem with with localhost. I have now deinstalled all java from my computer to plainly install the version needed: version jre 1.4.2.x, but I can't find this version in the internet, I mean not in the way that it is obviously the right version. Some description says j2se and other more even though I was googleing for jre 1.4.2 download.
Is there anybody who can advise?

You need to install the Flyte e-books and enter your flipkart username and password, it automatically activated free e-books in your account.
I'm not into e-books much, so can't say free e-books are worth enough.

I purchased some ebooks from BPP publications which requires Adobe Digital Editions for opening. I created the Adobe ID and downloaded the files. The publisher allows to use the product on three machines. Now I want to use the ebooks downloaded on my laptop on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. how can I use it?

I have the same problem, just a chequered screen for me as well.
I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro & an Apple TV 3 so hardware is ok.
You'd think using an Apple app with the latest kit would'nt throw up any problems.
Any ideas anyone?

I need some help fast please!! i have had the iphone since august and have videos and pictures i need like 100% need, and today i downloaded music and plugged my phone into my computer. The phone synched and it did to the settings when the iphone 4 first came out last year, dating back to when i first had it on february 24th, 2011. I need to restore it back but everytime i try to do it through itunes it puts me back to the same settings, i hope someone knows how to fix this problem, i would greatly appreciate any help!!!!

Check here and see if you got an automatic backup when you pluuged into iTunes. (Fingers Crossed)

If the recent backup is there, simply restore your phone from that backup. It sounds to me that instead of syncing the phone just by connecting it to the computer, you may have restored the phone to your ancient backup. No problem if you have the newer backup, but a huge problem if you don't have the recent backup.
If, in fact, you did restore the phone instead of getting a backup thru the (automatic) sync process, I'd strongly suggest getting the difference between the two straight in your mind.
My other suggestion would be to understand that your iPhone is "managed" thru iTunes. You need to connect the two whenever possible instead of using the charger.

I was able to get part way through cs4, it showed up in my downloads but never got as far in the process as to ask for serial numbers. I tried with cs2 and I got an error message that some bit of information was incorrect. I currently have both downloaded on two other lap tops I own. One is operational and one is dead. I cannot access the dead one to remove the program. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
