Need to update other Creative Cloud apps

AAM popped up this morning saying that 20 applications had updates. Since I was working, I unchecked some of the applications so that only the applications I was working with today would get updated. Now I want to get the rest of the updates but when I start AAM it just shows my installed apps and nothing about updates. How do I update the rest of the apps?

From an application menu just choose Help > Updates. That will launch the Updater part of AAM and you will be able to install the remaining updates.

    just to make sure there is no misunderstanding:
    All Creative Suite Apps are updated except for the app with the name "Adobe Creative Cloud".
    When I use the Creative Cloud Packager and select solely the core components, "Adobe Creative Cloud" is a part of them. The program itself shows a message saying that an update is necessary, but RUM won't update "Adobe Creative Cloud".

  • Migrated to a new mac pro and keep getting an install error when trying to update the creative cloud app

    I get an error when I try to start creative cloud that asks me to update. I download the updated installer and run it. I then get an error that says:
    Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of Creative Cloud from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'.
    Following the message is two buttons. Quit and Get Creative Cloud. If I follow these directions I will sit here all day just downloading and trying to install Creative Cloud only to find out that I have a problem for which I need to download and install Creative Cloud. This would be like the person who uses a whole bottle of shampoo every time they get in the shower just because is says lather rinse repeat. Can you break this endless loop for me?

    You may still be able to recover by completing the following steps:
    Run all available uninstallers in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder

    Hello Adobe community!
    I am a student in highschool. Last year, i bought Creative Cloud for one year and it has now expired. After looking around adobe.com, i found this option: http://www.adobe.com/offer-terms/edu_puf_promo.html. Does this mean I can buy Creative cloud for 12 months at 20.00$ a month, then cancel my contract for the upcoming year? I really only need Photoshop and Premiere pro for this year, no need for it next year too. Thanks in advance!

  • Update to Creative Cloud Apps

    I downloaded and installed LightRoom 4.1 from the Creative Cloud. Adobe Application Manager says this is the current revision. However when I run LR, it gives me an update notice that says that 4.3 is available. I have two questions:
    Why isn't 4.3 available via the Applicaton Manager?
    Should I go ahead and download the update and install it from the Adobe website?

    Hi Randy,
    We are in the process of making the 4.3 available directly within Adobe Application Manager. You can download and install the 4.3 update after installing 4.1 from within the Adobe Application Manager. If you are on Windows there will still be an entry in Programs and Features for Lightroom 4.1, just leave there though.

  • Updating of Creative Clouds apps seems to have no effect

    The application manager tells me to update some of my apps, as (Photoshop CC, After Effects CC, InDisign CC, Bridge CC, Premiere Pro CC).
    Everything works smooth, but if I check the application manager after restarting the iMac - it tells me again to do the same updates.
    I have been doing the updates for some days now, whithout any solution.
    I also tried to update Photoshop, from photoshops helpmenu - but that didn't work either.

    Notifed that I have bug fixes available for my CS 6 applications, the fixes fail to install, even though they look like they downloaded ok. Console messages not that clear about problem Mac OSX 10.8.5.

    Here are a bunch of error messages. This is with the Photoshop CS 6 update. I don't have any idea why it is failing to find files to update/patch. I don't know if the error is with the Extension manager. I tried updating that to the latest but that update fails as well.

  • Creative Cloud App Won't Install CC Apps or Update CS6 Apps

    I have the CS6 Master Collection installed on my Mac. I just updated to the new OS X Mavericks 10.9 hoping that might solve the problem, but the Creative Cloud app still is NOT working.
    The app tells me I have updates, and gives me the option to add the CC apps for the Creative Suite, but gets to maybe 42% and then gives a general error.
    The pop up window error says:
    Installation failed.
    Errors encountered during installation (7).
    And when you click on More Information, all you get is this:
    Exit Code: 7
    Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:
    -------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
    - 0 fatal error(s), 0 error(s)
    which tells me nothing.
    I am not able to do anything with Creative Cloud, except to update the Creative Cloud app itself every few days. The CC desktop app (which runs from my top menu bar) is up to date, but still doesn't work.
    How do I get the app to work and update my CS6 apps and install the CC collection?

    "Exit Code :7" is not what you need to look up. See the screenshot below for my error code.
    I looked up "Error: DF024" and below is the link and a screenshot of what it said on the Creative Cloud help page.

    I changed the name of my "Recommended" folder to "Recommended_backup". I then reinstalled and got the same error. I reread the code and realized that the path for my error is slightly different than what is listed on the Creative Cloud Help page. Instead of a path of "Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Recommended", mine actually read "Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Profiles". This time I went into the folder and changed the name of of the "profiles" folder to "profiles_back-up" and it worked!!!!!!
    Below is what my folder looks like after a successful install of Illustrator CC. The 2 folders highlighted in yellow are the folders that I renamed and the 2 green highlighted folders appeared after installation.

    As the title states:
    I've just updated via creative cloud app, ran lightroom from the standard shortcut on m desktop and got 5.7. Exited that and tried to run from the new shortcut. No load.
    Thought it might be to do with still having 5.7 installed, so uninstalled that via creative cloud app and it still wouldn't load. Noticed that the creative cloud app still showed lightroom as being installed (5.7 had disappeared on first uninstall). Selected uninstall again and this time it went from the installed section of the app to being an option to install.
    Installed new version and it won't load.
    Could someone please advise how to resolve this as I would like to be able to access my files and the changes I made.

  • Creative Cloud App and Font Sync

    I've noticed that if I don't have the CC app running I don't have access to my TypeKit fonts in any of my apps. Is this the way it’s supposed to work? I normally have the CC app turned off because it’s a major memory hog but I guess my primary questions is will I have access to the TypeKit fonts if my internet connection goes down? I don’t mind running the CC app whenever I need access to the fonts but if it’s sync’d via internet connection then the TypeKit fonts aren’t a viable option with client projects if connectivity goes down in the middle of a project deadline and the fonts can’t be accessed.

    I'm sorry you ran into trouble here. The fonts should sync and work offline though you will need to have the Creative Cloud app running.

    When I open Muse, I get a message that a new update is available.  When I hit install it just closes and nothing happens.  Then I got a message  I needed Adobe Creative Cloud App to resolve the issue.  I downloaded a copy of Creative Cloud desktop but it says that my Muse is up to date.  It was last updated in May but you have a new update today and it will not update.  I thought maybe I am not suppose to have the Creative Cloud update because all I have is the individual app Muse and the photography program.  So I uninstalled the CC desktop.  Then when I open Muse it says I need the CC desktop to help with the update.  So I get stopped either way.  Now I also had a Pre-Release Muse on my computer and I don't know if that complicated things.  Please advise.

    All future installs/updates of Muse (and most other Adobe apps) are through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Thus you do need to have it installed.
    Are you on Windows or Mac? What OS version?
