Need to view web pages off line in a place where there is no wi-fi

Hello.
I need to show some clients our website on the iPhone where there is no wi-fi connection. I have an older iPhone and the pages don't load up (keep timing out) when I don't view them over the wi-fi connection.
I would like to download the website onto my iPhone (32mb, 100+ pages) Is there a way to do this? I have downloaded "Files (light)" app but the navigation does not work correctly when I view it through this app.
I would like to view the off-line files through Safari because I know everything works.
Any suggestions?

No, unfortunatly we don't have an Edge connection and there are 100 plus pages with up to 6 images per page to scroll through, so taking screen shots is not really an option.

  • How can I save a previously published web page off-line instead of deleting

    I have some web pages with photos I do not want to post anymore on my iWeb site. However, I do not want to "delete" the pages because I spent so much time putting them together. Is there a way to save them off-line somewhere for access later on? I am a Scoutmaster and post photo pages of our hikes and adventures. I prefer to save my "masterpiece" pages somewhere for future reference instead of deleting them, which is the only option, to make room for more pages.
    Thank you so much for assisting me.
    p.s. Is there a number limit to the amount of photos I can drag over from iPhoto to an iWeb photo page?

  • TV Out to View Web Pages?

    Hi, I recently purchased an Apple AV Composite cable in order to view web pages (Powerpoint presentations, documents, etc) from my iPhone on a TV or digital projector. I'm a teacher and this would be INCREDIBLY USEFUL for both meetings and classes, especially if a laptop is not available (which is often the case). I'm having difficulty figuring out how to get the safari web page to display on a TV. Playing video clips or even photo slide shows seem to be able to be displayed on a TV, but not web pages or any other screen on the iPhone. Does anyone know of a way (other than jailbreaking or unlocking the iPhone) to view the iPhone display on a TV?
    Is there an app or some trick to get it to work? Thanks.

    I just got my Iphone today and was hoping to get something on the TV, from the description here it sounds like pictures will display. Anyone know if a scanned presentation in .tif format will be read as a picture?
    I'll have to try to load a couple to the phone or convert them to .jpg.
    If that works I should be able to scan my presentations and then show them as pictures. I teach Scuba so this would be very handy to have for traveling.

  • When I open Safari why does it not open my pre-set home page, but instead opens multiple previously viewed web pages?

    I open up Safari and expect it to go straight to my home page, but instead it seems to open any number of previously viewed web pages.  I have recently installed Lion and I don't recall this happening with Snow Leopard.  Any ideas...?

    Hold down the shift key as you click the Dock icon. This will kill the automatic "resume" feature found in Lion.
    Hold down the Option key when you use the Safari menu to quit the app. This will "discard windows".

    Recent iOS update has made my iPad 2 unusable. The screen locks up. It's very laggy and web pages do not load correctly.  Is there a fix for this or are they even working on a fix.

    Try some basic troubleshooting:
    (A) Try reset iPad
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    (B) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    (C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

  • How to view browser history off-line, full size

    hello - i am able to search for and locate web pages i visited many months ago - however i don't know how to view them as they were then.  for instance, one was a blog with links i tried to revisit, so i found it, but the blog no longer exists.  i figure that since the text and image were saved (obviously i was able to search for the text and view a thumbnail) they are probably available somehow "offline" - how can i view pages visted off-line rather than revisiting them?  thanks!

    Assuming you are using Safari as your browser, in it's general preferences, there's a "Remove history items" menu popup which gives you choices of when to delete history.  Included in that list is "manually" if you so choose.  Other browsers have similar options (e.g., firefox).
    As for what's kept, it's url's, not whole web pages.  So if a url is old enough there is a probability that the page it is pointing to changed or no longer exists.

  • Web start off-line applications

    Is it possible to disable the automatic update feature of web start, and indicate that an application will always run off-line? For users that only have a dial up connection, it's inconvenient for web start to try to connect each time.

    I think I answered my own question; the answer is that presently the answer is no. Web start will always try to get the latest version, like it or not. I also understand that this might change in Java 1.6.
    There is an ongoing debate as to whether creating java executables (exe files) in windows is needed or advisable. Many suggest using java web start; others suggest distributing an executable jar. Both have problems.
    In the case of an executable jar, unless one makes a shortcut and uses an application icon, it is apparent that the program is not a normal windows application. Also, if the application uses javahelp, there is the additional difficulty of getting jhall.jar to the right place.
    Java Web Start has good potential. However, this business of always looking for automatic updates has problems. Many users don't want updates unless they explicitly ask for them. It is possible to run the application offline using the Java Web Start manager. But then its very obvious that this is not a standard windows application. Clicking on the icon that web start creates causes Java web start to announce itself to dial up users who happen not to be connected to the internet at the time of the launch. Again, it becomes obvious that this is not a windows application.
    It's my personal opinion that this is a serious design flaw. Java can make inroads to .net if its applications can run in windows transparently, as any other application. My vote is to correct this flaw in the next version.

  • In MVC, do i need a View or Page with flow logic for POPUP window

    Hi All,
    I have the below scenario using the MVC pattern.
    I have a main view with 3 trays, each tray has two buttons, for example first tray has Create Order button. When I click on this button, I need a popup window to come with a tableview and a button(Create), where I select some rows and click on the button Create  to create order.
    But as per the MVC pattern I canu2019t call the view (popup) from another view(main view).  So should I create a VIEW or PAGE WITH FLOW LOGIC for the popup? .
    I need 6 popup to be called from the main view and once the function is done close the popup.
    Please suggest me the flow for this scenario.
    Cheers,
    Srini.

    Srini,
    1. You can call the view in pop-up because you will be calling the controller using open.window.
    Here is the sample code:
    method DO_REQUEST .
      data:
            li_vw           type ref to   if_bsp_page,
            lv_form_field   type          string,
            li_md           type ref to   zcl_model01.
      dispatch_input( ).
      li_md ?= get_model( 'm01' ).
      lv_form_field = request->get_form_field( 'invoice_create' ).
      if lv_form_field is initial.
    *------ Request to display main page
        li_vw = create_view( view_name = 'main.htm' ).
        li_vw->set_attribute( name = 'model' value = li_md ).
        call_view( li_vw ).
      elseif lv_form_field eq 'true'.
    *------ Request to display Invoice page in pop-up
        li_vw = create_view( view_name = 'invoice.htm' ).
        li_vw->set_attribute( name = 'model' value = li_md ).
        call_view( li_vw ).
      endif.
    endmethod.
    Layout:
          function do_Invoice()
          { var s=0; r=1; w=300; h=300; x=screen.width/2;
            x=x-w/2;
            var y=screen.height/4;
            y=y-h/2;
            popUp=window.open('main.do?invoice_create=true','win','width='+ w
            +',height='+ h +', left=' + x +',top='+ y +');
    Option2:
    Ofcourse you can't bind the model in page becos those are 2 different things. But all you need to do is access the model to get some value. To know how to access the model from Page w/flow logic look at [this link|Passing model reference to a page in a Popup].

  • Unable to view web pages with browsers

    I have currently moved to another city due to the hurricane. I am hooked up to the internet through a interoffice network. I can see the "pages" of my internet explorer off of my "pc" - however, I can not see the "pages" of my browsers (safari and explorer) on my mac. Totally confused - never happened before. Please help.
    My website is "down" due to the storm also - no email at this time throuch .Mac.

    Hi, Warren, welcome to Apple's user-to-user discussion forums.
    When you say you can see "pages" on Internet Explorer, does that mean you can access the Internet from Internet Explorer? Is this how you are accessing these discussion forums? If by "pages" you do not mean web pages on the Internet, what do you mean?
    Is your Mac properly connected to the network so that it has access to the Internet. Can you send and receive mail, for example?
    You can access your .Mac account from any Internet connection. just go to Mac.com and log in as usual. Once you have logged into .Mac, you can use Web mail to read or send email. You can also set up your Mail program to automatically download and send email using your .Mac account.
    I am sorry to hear about your relocation from the storm. I hope you and those you are concerned about are ok.
    Tom

  • Dreamweaver CC suddenly (yesterday) stopped viewing web pages via F12 key.  the browser opens but times out on all browsers now

    I have been running Dreamweaver since 2008 (CS).  I have a server on the local network that I save my work on and remotely connect to it via a mapped network drive W while in Dreamweaver.  When Dreamweaver starts it loads via the site the mapped drive contents.  It shows the files and folders of clients I am currently working on.  Up until yesterday I was able to open a folder in Dreamweaver CC, work on a file and to view it in a browser, I would of course save the current changes and press the F12 key to bring up the browser and display the web page in full screen view.  I never used the live view button on the Dreamweaver menu before, I only pressed the F12 key to see the browser in full screen and display the html page.
    However since yesterday when I press the F12 key any of my browsers (Firefox 29.01, Internet Explorer 11, Opera (latest), Safari (latest)  and Chrome (latest) only open and Time Out.
    I am running Windows 8.1 update
    I am running Adobe Cloud CC for my Adobe Products
    Attempted Fixes to date:
    I have searched online forums
    I have uninstalled Dreamweaver CC and re installed it
    I again uninstalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver CC and deleted the profile settings
    I have contacted Adobe support but they said the F12 key worked so cannot help any more
    I still have the same problem.
    The only way to view these files in a browser is to right click the file and select open with and select the browser to check it with.
    Can anybody help me as I have been running my current set up since 2008 without any issues.

    Can you verify that the shortcut key is assigned properly for browser preview here:
    If it isn't, Click the last option 'Edit Browser List' > edit the settings in the preferences tab:
    This will ensure that your keyboard shortcut is mapped properly.
    If the setting in 1st screenshot shows the shortcut properly, but still isn't loading, you could try trashing your cache: Deleting a corrupted cache file
    Let us know how it goes.
