You need to go to the vendor's web site such as Oracle and download the jar file for that particular database. Example: ojdbc14.jar for an oracle database and copy it to the 'lib' folder of your project and then include it with your project. Within that jar file, you will have datasource, preparedStatement, resultSet objects. You will need to read up on how to instansiate the datasource for that database from the vendor's documentation.

Need tools info. on SQL test data preparation

Hi,
I need to prepare large volume of data's for the testing's.
For example,
There is a need to insert some 500 numbers into a table.
Instead of writing the sql insert statements, procedures, using sql developers etc...
Is there any tools available for this to prepare the data's like this..
The tools has to be more generic for any type of the SQL statement requirements
for the testing.

Are you looking for a test data generator, or just a quick way to load data?
For test data generators, try this, for a quick way to load data use [SQLLoader |http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28319/part_ldr.htm#i436326]. This is the 11g documentation, you should be able to find the 10g documentation easily enough.
Note that this forum is specifically for the SQLDeveloper tool. You may get better answers in the [Database General|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=61] forum.

Need tool/utility to get list of tables from sql query

Hi,
I often have to analyze huge queries without having access to database. Is there any tool where I can submit the a sql query and it gives me list of tables used in the query. I also need similar thing for documentation.
Let me know if anybody uses anything like this.

I am pretty sure that is done in the editing stages.

Equium A100 PSAAQE: need tools and drivers

I am new to this forum, and I think this thread is fairly close to my problem.
I recently bought an Equium A100-33888 laptop notebook, Model PSAAQE.
As it was secondhand, the dealer reformatted the disc - installing, as the original, Vista Home Premium.
But he has cleared (removed) as far as I can see, the Toshiba special utilities as described in the manual. That is, there are no folders/files named toshiba.
(I also have a rather older toshiba laptop, which does have some folders/files named toshiba - including help files for the utilities.)
I gather from a quick look throuh the form that there may be what seems to be described as a driver download which might enable me to restore these utilities. Can someone please advise me as to exactly which driver would be appropriate, and where to find it?
I certainly do not want to lose (reinstall) all the programs I have installed on this laptop, and would rather do without the utilities.
I assume and hope that the general hotkeys (Fn + hotkey) all work without the utilities.
Please advise me on both questions.

Microsoft doesn't provide a tool to convert OST file into PST, but we can try export the data in OST file to PST file within Outlook. To do this, please follow:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Click File > Open & Export > Import/Export
3. In the Import and Export Wizard, click Export to a file, and then click
Next.
4. Click Outlook Data File (.pst), and then click Next.
5. Select the account you want to export by clicking the name or email address, such as
Mailbox – Anne Weiler or [email protected] If you want to export everything in your account, including mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes, ensure the
Include subfolders box is checked.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Browse to select where to save the Outlook Data File (.pst) and to enter a file name. Click

I found a official Toshiba document in this forum which says that the Satellite M70 notebooks are supported and the Vista drivers will be published. When?? We will see
I have noticed that Toshiba publishes new Vista drivers every day Now, be patient.
By the way: As far as I know Toshiba did not design Power saver for Vista for any notebook series.
Windows Vista uses an own power options and this options are very similar to Toshiba power saver.
So dont wait for Toshiba power saver release because they will not release this tool for Vista

Satellite A500D - FN key not working - Need tool for Vista 64bit

Hi experts,
I would like to ask for assistance on my laptop's problem.
The FN key doesnt seem to work now. I tried restarting the Flash cards but nothing happens.
I read on some threads that i have to download the VAP and the flash utility from drivers section.
Thing is there is no option for vista 64 on the list. I have the european installation backup disks (7 cds or 9?) but I have no plans of reinstalling the OS again.
I cant activate the button for the antenna as it requires FN-F8 combination.
Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for the links. I installed both the files you gave, unfortunately, it didnt work. Im still unable to use my FN button. Im only able to access the FN-Fs if I run the flash card setup and allow the mouse to bring up the cards. Strange thing though, last night after installing windows update, for some reason FN worked again. But then after shutting down the laptop, things went back to as it were (FN back to being useless). Is there a specific process that should be running for this FN thing to work that maybe I should enable?
Other suggestion is appreciated.
Also, installing both files went kinda wierd. After extracting from zip and running the exe file, installation doesnt mention if it finished successfully or what. All I saw was the install shield button minimized (unable to maximize) and then disappearing after several minutes. Blinking light seems to indicate some activity but when i checked on control panel - programs, it shows VAP was installed. Then I just restarted

Need "tool tip" type popup extension

changed frequently, I don't want to have to create a new image or
html page for each label. I want to be able to just make a hotspot
and enter the label text and some simple parameters, including

Because this is an artist's page, I want the labels to look
nice, not "computerish." I've used Kaos Expert Popups, but they
require you to create an image, plus they have a Window with http
info for a border. I want just a plain border - or none at all!
This doesn't sound all that complicated, but I can't figure
out how to do it in DW. Is there an extension that will do this?
Or, better yet, can I do it in DW? I don't have much coding
ability.

How do I get back my AT&T Yahoo Home Page and Tool Bar?

I am a senior citizen with little computer knowledge. I cannot cope with changes to my home page because I do not have the knowledge/skills to undo the changes your program has installed.
AT&T is my Internet Service Provider. Firefox is my browser. Right? When I installed the newer version of Firefox it usurped my AT&T Yahoo Home Page and Task Bar. I want my old home page and task bar back.
I used system recovery to go back a couple hrs. prior to when the new Fire Fox was installed and lost Firefox & At&T. Was in a great state of frustration when I couldn't get system recovery up after going to control panel. System recovery finally popped up again and I went forward to after installation of new Fire Fox and have system up again.
I am unable to read up on new Fire Fox program now. All I want is my old AT&T Yahoo Home Page back with their Task Bar. I can learn new Fire Fox as time permits.
For a non-profit organization I find Fire Fox quite aggressive. That is good when mobilizing us to write or call Congress but not to take over my Home Page.
Will have to admit new Fire Fox sure is faster.
I do want to commend you for taking a stand against what Congress is trying to do and also for your non-intrusive, not obnoxious way of asking for donations. You help inform us and let us know of your need and anyone that is not a free loader with a conscience, I think, would make a donation according to what one can afford. Keep up the good work and the good fight..........please do help me restore my home page back to AT&T with the old task bar.

This is the answer from Firefox Help to get Tool Bar back up:
Why are the menus (File, Edit, View, etc.) missing?
If you're using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you now have an orange Firefox button that takes the most common functions and puts them in one menu.
To temporarily show the old style menus, just press the Alt key.
To have them shown all the time, right-click on an empty section of the Tab Strip and check Menu Bar in the pop-up menu.
Menu Bar - Win
Pressing the Alt key didn't work for me but the latter instruction did the trick.
Check the Navigation Bar too on the pop-up menu if you want your Refresh and Home Icons to show. It took quite a few right-clicks for me before the pop-up menu I needed came up so keep trying until the right menu comes up.
