Iam nithin from hyderabad,completed my graduation.Iam interested to learn OIM.In hyderabad non of the institutes r teaching this course.so can any one provide me Training on OIM.

Need clarifications on OIM 11gR2

Friends,
I have successfully installed OIM 11gR2 on Linux 64 bit and used weblogic 10.3.6. I have few queries and expecting your expertise.
1) Tried to install JDeveloper on it but it is getting failed saying it is not compatible with middleware. After googling, i found need to apply some ADF runtime drivers. But, I am not sure how to do. Can you please provide me some directions?
2) I went thru the documentation on sandbox concept in OIM 11gR2 but did not understand. Can you please explain me its concept clearly?
3) I tried to install OID from IDM 11.1.1.6 but it is getting failed saying it requires 32 bit Linux os but i did not find 64 bit OID software. Can you please provide me url where i can download OID software for Linux 64 bit.

Yes, I followed certification matrix and tried to install 11.1.1.6 only on wlserver 10.3.6.

+2.4-This first option you can install a local standalone WLS 10.3.6 server on your environment, then create a separate "integrated WLS" connection to the standalone server.+
+2.5-Then go to your Application's properties through the Application menu -> Application Properties -> Run -> Bind to Integration Application Server option you can the brand new option created WLS server connection to work with your application.+

What you are asking for is indeed possible, but it may not be the most efficient way to achieve what I believe are your actual goals, and here is why:
When you publish data to a website, you usually have to insert a lot of formatting code, which means that the actual content becomes mixed with what, from InDesign's point of view, is garbage, which means that you have to spend a lot of effort to clean it up.
If, as I presume it true for a blog, the content is stored in a database, it is much, much better to retrieve the raw content, without the formatting "garbage", directly from the server. How to do that depends on your blog backend, but usually it involves making calls to some kind of API, or a server-side script that pulls the requested data.
Once you have the data it is simply a matter of putting it into InDesign. If you are lucky enough to get the data as XML, then it is simply a matter of importing and styling, possibly with some xsl transformations.
If you are really lucky, your blog backend may allow you to publish the content as XML/XHTM/RSS/ATOM etc, in which case there is no need for any specific server-side work, as you simple can pull the content directly through a regular http request.
The point I am trying to make is that you should pick up the content before it is littered with "garbage", instead of trying to clean it up afterwards. That is what you do if you have to do it by hand, but you really should try not to replicate your manual workflow, but instead go for what is a good automated solution

Need help on OIM API's

Hi All,
Do we have any OIM API to validate the challenge questions and challenge responses specifically?
I was trying to do reset password functionality using OIM API resetForgottenPassword(). But, for the first time it was resetting the password perfectly then onwards from 2nd time... it is giving an error message as mentioned below.

Suggestion needed / train task-flow / evaluation during task execution

I have a train task-flow with four stops and a default activity (createInsert view object).
Two stops (stop 2 and stop 3) are mutually exclusive depending on a value entered on stop 1 (input/edit value form for the created vo).
I added a el evaluation binding from my view object value in the skip properties (#{bindings.FsCardinality.inputValue != '1'}) that enable/disable the stop depending on that value.
My problem is to control the flow and the instant the value has to be evaluated by task-flow view activity to disabling/enable by their self.
I didn't have any next/previous button, i just putted a train in the page fragments that show the train stops. I like the idea to let the train displayed to reflect the process.
Actually, i have to activate the next stop (stop 4) to force (submitting the changes and) the train stop to evaluate the expression.
What is recommended to do in such cases ?
1) add a submit button in input/edit value form and disabling next stops since any changes are saved in the model
2) add auto submit to field that manage the value to be sure it is saved for every changes
3) other
Any recommendations, suggestions, patters is welcome !!

I have 2 years of SAP technical experience in ABAP (& Netweaver a bit). I am searching for official training and hands-on experience on SAP xMII technology, from SAP India or any of SAP's authorised training institutes or any private institute / xMII consultant, in INDIA.
Do anyone know about the scedule of new batch & fees structure, etc. in SAP India, for training on xMII ?
