Need trial extension for 14 days till I get student ID

The title says it all, could I extend the Mac trial license before I get the ID with which I could buy some of the student bundles? I need it ASAP.

Open Activity monitor in Utilities, go to the CPU tab>All Processes, and note any process that would appear to be related to importing photos, such as iPhoto, and use Force Quit. This may only be a temporary fix, as it may start all over again when you reboot. If that happens, we need to do some more investigating.
Also, close all open Applications, then open Terminal in Utilities and copy/paste and hit return, then post the output of this command.

Need an extension for iPhone while in Otterbox for use w iHome ??

I was wanting to see if anyone has a way of solving this problem. My 13 year old son has to take the Otterbox off to set it down in the iHome. So, to solve this I just need an extension with a female and male connection. But, I don't know of any other female end other than what is on the iPhone.

This option also requires some modification, but as mentioned in this article, it's to the cable and not to the Otterbox itself. Thank you, by the way, for bringing this up. I was going to get one of these cables for the same purpose and hadn't considered a potential problem. At least now I will be expecting to have to modify the cable.

Free trial extension for photoshop

Hello, I had ran into some problems with photoshop, and didn't really get too use it very much. I was wondering if it's possible for another trial, maybe like a week or 2 just too know if it's exactly what i'm looking for before I start paying for it if it does work out too be what I need. Thank you for any tips or advice. I had a 30 day trial and should have used it wisely.

Not been able to open firefox for days just keep getting crash reporter, tried everything, no joy

for the past few days, a week at most, i've been unable to open firefox, it just keeps giving me the crash reporter..
i always use firefox, i've not installed any add ons (i did install dropbox lately but thats about it), i always have adblockplus running, have done for months never had a problem
having to use Opera at the minute cos Chrome is the slowest browser known to man (why everyone sings its praises i'll never know)
then one day, i tried opening firefox, it said checking compatibility of add-ons, then gave the crash reporter box, not been able to do anything since
i've followed all guides on here, i've reset all settings, i've updated the add-ons it said i had, i've tried booting in safe mode..
..all with the same result, crash reporter
so please dont tell me to go into firefox and change settings as i cant even open firefox

Please follow the instructions in the article from the above post. In fct you have a second suspicious file showing on your report so look specifically at and scan files ''gblrofmx.dll'' & ''sprotector.dll''
If possible I suggest you quarantine the files rather than deleting them immediately. Also note that you may need to start Windows in safe mode (or Windows safemode with network access) in order to find and move or delete the files.

You in no luck. Adobe do not provide older version of their
products.
You can only download the latest and because they have all
kind of new features,
specific specs are required.
Your only choice will be to allocate older flash, 8 or MX
2004, from some other source.
Try books. Old Flash 8 or MX 2004 books. They will be on sale
now, considering they are
getting out of date. Most of them comes with CD and flash app
installation on it.

The HP f1904 monitor has a maximum resolution of 1280x1024, and only has DVI and VGA inputs. HP ENVY 17-j003sa Notebook Computer has a 1920x1080 resolution and appears to only have an HDMI output. It may be possible to connect the two using an HDMI-to-DVI cable. There doesn't seem to be any Windows 7/8 drivers available on the HP Pavilion f1904 19 inch LCD Monitor Drivers & Downloads page and it shouldn't require a driver.
The monitor is inferior when compared to the computer. I would suggest the purchase of a new 1920x1080 monitor to compliment the HP 17-j003sa computer you intend to buy.

Need an extension for indesign cs2 that exports latest version of pdfs

we're using ID CS2, no plans to go to a more recent version. Currently latest version of pdf that it will export to is pdf 7. current versions of web browsers don't display properly, i imagine because they're expecting a more recent version pdf. is there an add-on for CS2 that will generate current pdf version ?

Creating a email extension for ios... it keeps flipping the orientation of the app when closing.

I know, if I need help I should go post on some apple board... but it's information overflow.... and I am not 100% sure it's related to the extension.
Here's the problem
I am creating/using an extension to open the MFMailComposeViewController.
Now, I figured out how to open it and force it to landscape, but the problem is when I close the email it, my app flips upside down. (landscape left when it was landscape right before, or vice versa)
My app is set to force landscape left and right... and the mail controller does open in landscape... but it's either upside down (landscape right, when the app is left, or vice versa) or when it closes, it flips the application the other way.
Has anyone encountered anything like this and ideas on how to fix it?
My app publish settings, I set to landscape, auto-orient is set to false and it's full screen,
However, on start up in code... I am setting stage.autoOrients = true and then using the CustomOrientation.as to control the rotation (to force landscape only)
in my extension, I am showing the MFMailComposeViewController in the
[[[[UIApplication sharedApplication] keyWindow] rootViewcontroller] presentModalViewcontroller:mailCompser animated:NO];
and mailCompser is a subclassed MFMailComposeViewcontroller object and I have set it's override to this:

When I launch my app, it starts
stage.orientation = rotatedRight
I then launch my extension and the email page for ios appears, in the correct orientation.... if I rotate the device, both the email and the app rotate to rotatedRight or rotatedLeft correctly.
I then click Cancel, delete draft
The email window disappears, but now my screen is landscape left.... if I wiggle the device, the sensor picks it up and then rotates the app back right, but this is a major problem.
I am thinking it has something to do with the rootViewController orienatation, but I don't know enough about objC and xcode to know what to do.
I have tried googling and searching will little to no luck... but then, the answer could be staring at me and I would have missed it as I am an obj c noob.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

I had the same problem and found the following workaround: apart from overriding MFMailComposeViewController's shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation, I also added implementations for
_preferredInterfaceOrientationGivenCurrentOrientation
and
_isSupportedInterfaceOrientation
in a category of UIViewController in the native code.
Then, in the Actionscript code, added an event listener for StageOrientationEvent.ORIENTATION_CHANGING (with high priority and use_capture = true) in Actionscript to prevent resizing of the stage, which can occur even if the orientation doesn’t change.
This fixed it for me, but, as it messes with UIViewController, it makes it tricky to have views which have different orientation behaviour (if you want one view to be able to rotate in all directions, but others only to support Landscape, for example).

I am trying to get the free Paypal extension for Dreamweaver CS3 but can't find it anywhere. Web Assist currently only has the extension available for CS4 and above.
I've searched Google but every link that says I can get the extension for CS3 just goes back to Web Assists page with the newer version which does not support CS3.
Does anyone know where I could get the Paypal extension for Dreamweaver CS3?

I don't know why you need an extension for this. PayPal gives you the necessary code to use. It's a simple matter of copy & paste.

System Preferences->Spotlight->Privacy->drag your boot volume into the pane or use the plus sign, select it, and click the minus sign. That should restart indexing and fix your issue.
